Exodus 31
1 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
HERREN talede fremdeles til Moses og sagde:
2 See I have called by name Bezalel [the] son of Uri [the] son of Hur of [the] tribe of Judah.
Se, jeg har kaldet Bezalel, en Søn af Hurs Søn Uri, af Judas Stamme
3 And I have filled him [the] spirit of God with skill and with understanding and with knowledge and with all workmanship.
og fyldt ham med Guds Ånd, med Kunstsnilde, Kløgt og Indsigt i alskens Arbejde
4 To design designs to work in gold and in silver and in bronze.
til at udtænke Kunstværker og til at arbejde i Guld, Sølv og Kobber
5 And in carving of stone to fill and in carving of wood to work in all workmanship.
og med Udskæring af Sten til Indfatning og med Træskærerarbejde, kort sagt til at udføre alskens Arbejde.
6 And I here! I have appointed with him Oholiab [the] son of Ahisamach of [the] tribe of Dan and in [the] heart of every [person] skillful of heart I have put skill and they will make all that I have commanded you.
Og se, jeg har givet ham Oholiab, Ahisamaks Søn, af Dans Stamme til Medhjælper, og alle kunstforstandige Mænds Hjerte har jeg udrustet med Kunstsnilde, for at de kan udføre alt, hvad jeg har pålagt dig,
7 - [the] tent of Meeting and the ark of the testimony and the atonement cover which [will be] on it and all [the] articles of the tent.
Åbenbaringsteltet, Vidnesbyrdets Ark, Sonedækket derpå og alt Teltets Tilbehør,
8 And the table and articles its and the lampstand pure and all articles its and [the] altar of incense.
Bordet med dets Tilbehør, Lysestagen af purt Guld med alt dens Tilbehør, Røgelsealteret,
9 And [the] altar of the burnt offering and all articles its and the laver and base its.
Brændofferalteret med alt dets Tilbehør og Vandkummen med dens Fodstykke,
10 And [the] garments of the woven material and [the] garments of the holiness for Aaron the priest and [the] garments of sons his to serve as priests.
Pragtklæderne, de hellige Klæder til Præsten Aron og hans Sønners Klædet til Brug ved Præstetjenesten,
11 And [the] oil of anointing and [the] incense of the perfume for the holy place according to all that I have commanded you they will do.
Salveolien og den vellugtende Røgelse til Helligdommen. Ganske som jeg har pålagt dig, skal de udføre det.
12 And he said Yahweh to Moses saying.
HERREN talede fremdeles til Moses og sagde:
13 And you speak to [the] people of Israel saying surely sabbaths my you will observe for [is] a sign it between me and between you to generations your to know that I [am] Yahweh [who] sets apart you.
Du skal tale til Israeliterne og sige: Fremfor alt skal I holde mine Sabbater, thi Sabbaten er et Tegn mellem mig og eder fra Slægt til Slægt, for at I skal kende, at jeg HERREN er den, der helliger eder.
14 And you will observe the sabbath for [is] a holy thing it to you [those who] profane it certainly he will be put to death for every [one who] does on it work and it will be cut off the person that from [the] midst of kinspeople its.
I skal holde Sabbaten, thi den skal være eder hellig; den, som vanhelliger den, skal lide Døden, ja enhver, som udfører noget Arbejde på den, det Menneske skal udryddes af sin Slægt.
15 Six days it will be done work and [will be] on the day seventh a sabbath of sabbath observance a holy thing to Yahweh every [one who] does work on [the] day of the sabbath certainly he will be put to death.
I seks Dage må der arbejdes, men på den syvende Dag skal I holde en fuldkommen Hviledag, helliget HERREN; enhver, som udfører Arbejde på Sabbatsdagen, skal lide Døden.
16 And they will observe [the] people of Israel the sabbath by celebrating the sabbath to generations their a covenant of perpetuity.
Israeliterne skal holde Sabbaten, så at de fejrer Sabbaten fra Slægt til Slægt som en evig gyldig Pagt:
17 Between me and between [the] people of Israel [is] a sign it for ever for six days he made Yahweh the heavens and the earth and on the day seventh he rested and he refreshed himself.
Den skal være et Tegn til alle Tider mellem mig og Israeliterne. Thi i seks Dage gjorde HERREN Himmelen og Jorden, men på den syvende hvilede han og vederkvægede sig.
18 And he gave to Moses when finished he to speak with him on [the] mountain of Sinai [the] two [the] tablets of the testimony tablets of stone written by [the] finger of God.
Da han nu var færdig med at tale til Moses på Sinaj Bjerg, overgav han ham Vidnesbyrdets to Tavler, Stentavler, der var beskrevet med Guds Finger.
