< Exodus 21 >

1 And these [are] the judgments which you will set before them.
“Ndị a bụ iwu ị ga-edebe nʼihu ha.
2 For you will buy a slave Hebrew six years he will serve and in the seventh [year] he will go out to free [person] without paying.
“Ọ bụrụ na ị goro ohu onye Hibru, ọ ga-agbara gị odibo afọ isii. Ma nʼafọ nke asaa, ọ ga-abụ onye nwere onwe ya laakwa nʼakwụghị ụgwọ ọbụla.
3 If with body his he will come with body his he will go out if [is the] husband of a wife he and she will go out wife his with him.
Ọ bụrụ na sọọsọ ya bịara, sọọsọ ya ga-ala, ma ọ bụrụ na o nwere nwunye tupu ọ bụrụ ohu, ya na nwunye ya ga-eso ala.
4 If master his he will give to him a wife and she will bear to him sons or daughters the woman and children her she will belong to master her and he he will go out with body his.
Ọ bụrụ na nna ya ukwu kpọnyere ya nwunye onye mụtaara ya ụmụ ndị ikom na ụmụ ndị inyom, nwanyị ahụ na ụmụ ya ga-abụ nke nna ya ukwu, naanị nwoke ahụ ga-enwere onwe ya.
5 And if carefully he will say the slave I love master my wife my and children my not I will go out a free [person].
“Ma ọ bụrụ na ohu ahụ asị, nʼezie, ‘Ahụrụ m onyenwe m na nwunye m na ụmụ m nʼanya, achọghị m inwere onwe,’
6 And he will bring near him master his to God and he will bring near him to the door or to the doorpost and he will pierce master his ear his with the awl and he will serve him for ever.
mgbe ahụ, onyenwe ya ga-eduru ya bịakwute Chineke. Mgbe ọ kpọbatasịrị ya nʼọnụ ụzọ, onyenwe ya ga-eji agịga dupuo ntị ya. Malite nʼoge ahụ, ọ ga-abụkwa ohu ya ruo ọgwụgwụ ndụ ya.
7 And if he will sell a man daughter his to a female slave not she will go out when go out the [male] slaves.
“A sị na nwoke eree nwa ya nwanyị dịka ohu, agaghị ala otu ndị ohu nwoke si ala.
8 If she is bad in [the] eyes of master her who (for himself *Q(K)*) he designated her and he will let be ransomed her to a people foreign not he will have dominion to sell her because has dealt treacherously he with her.
Ọ bụrụ na ihe nwanyị ahụ amasịkwaghị onyenwe ya, onye họọrọ ya nye onwe ya, onyenwe ya ga-ekwere ka a gbapụta ya. Ma ọ gaghị eresi ya ndị ọbịa. Nʼihi na onyenwe ya emeela nwanyị ahụ ihe ọjọọ mgbe ọ jụrụ na ọ gaghị alụkwa ya ọzọ.
9 And if for son his he will designate her according to [the] custom of daughters he will do to her.
Ọ bụrụ na ọ chọrọ ka nwa ya nwoke lụọ ya dịka nwunye ya, ọ ga-emeso ya dịka omenaala si kwado e si emeso ndị bụ nwaada.
10 If another [woman] he will take for himself food her covering her and right to intercourse her not he will reduce.
Ọ bụrụkwa na ọ lụta ya dịka nwunye nke aka ya, mesịakwa lụta nwunye ọzọ, ọ gaghị akwụsị inye ya uwe maọbụ ihe oriri. Ọ gaghị agọnarịkwa ya ihe ọbụla kwesiri ya dịka nwunye.
11 And if three [things] these not he will do for her and she will go out without paying not money.
Ọ bụrụ na o mereghị ohu nwanyị a ihe ndị a, nwanyị a pụrụ ịhapụ ya gaara onwe ya na-akwụghị ụgwọ ọbụla. Mgbe ahụ, ọ ga-enwerekwa onwe ya.
12 [one who] will strike anyone And he will die certainly he will be put to death.
“Ọzọkwa, ọ bụrụ na mmadụ etigbuo mmadụ ibe ya, aghaghị ime ka onye dị otu a nwụọ.
13 And that not he was lying in wait and God he allowed to happen to hand his and I will designate for you a place where he will flee there.
Ma ọ bụrụ na o mere ya na-amaghị ama, ọ bụrụkwa na Chineke kwagidere omume dị otu a, mgbe ahụ, a ga-ahọpụtara ya ebe ọ ga-agbaga, jee zere ndụ.
14 And if he will act presumptuously anyone on neighbor his to kill him with cunning from with altar my you will take him to die.
Ọ bụrụkwa na onye ọbụla akpachara anya jiri aghụghọ gbuo mmadụ ibe ya, a ga-adọpụta ya, ọ bụladị site nʼebe ịchụ aja m, gbuo ya.
15 And [one who] will strike father his and mother his certainly he will be put to death.
“Ọ bụrụ na onye ọbụla etie nna ya maọbụ nne ya ihe, a ghaghị ime ka onye dị otu a nwụọ.
16 And [one who] will steal anyone and he will sell him and he will be found in hand his certainly he will be put to death.
“Onye ọbụla tọọrọ mmadụ ibe ya, ma o rere ya nʼahịa, maọbụ na a chọpụtara ya nʼaka ya, a ga-eme ka onye dị otu a nwụọ.
17 And [one who] will curse father his and mother his certainly he will be put to death.
“Aghaghị ime ka onye ọbụla ga-akpọ nna ya maọbụ nne ya iyi nwụọ.
18 And if they will quarrel! men and he will strike anyone neighbor his with a stone or with a fist and not he will die and he will fall to a bed.
“Ọ bụrụ na mmadụ abụọ alụọ ọgụ ma otu nʼime ha ewere nkume maọbụ osisi tie onye nke ọzọ. Ọ bụrụ na ọ nwụghị, kama na o merụrụ ahụ, dinaakwa nʼihe ndina ya,
19 If he will arise and he will walk about on the outside on staff his and he will be free from guilt the [one who] struck only sitting still his he will pay for and certainly he will have [him] healed.
ọ bụrụ na onye ahụ ebilie were mkpara ya na-ejegharị, ikpe agaghị ama onye ahụ tiri ya ihe, kama ọ ga-akwụ ụgwọ ihe onye ahụ ji gwọọ onwe ya, na oge onye ahụ o tiri ihe ji nọọ nʼihe ndina, ruo mgbe ahụ ya ga-adị mma.
20 And if he will strike anyone [male] slave his or female slave his with the rod and he will die under hand his certainly he will be avenged.
“Ọ bụrụ na ohu ọbụla anwụọ site nʼihe otiti nke onyenwe ya tiri ya, ma ohu ahụ ọ bụ nwoke maọbụ nwanyị, a ga-adọ onyenwe ya aka na ntị site nʼinye ya ntaramahụhụ.
21 Nevertheless if a day or two days he will remain not he will be avenged for [is] money his he.
Otu ọ dị, ọ bụrụ na ohu ahụ dị ndụ nʼụbọchị mbụ, maọbụ nʼụbọchị nke abụọ, a gaghị enye onyenwe ya ntaramahụhụ nʼihi na ohu ahụ bụ akụ ya.
22 And if they will struggle together men and they will strike a woman pregnant and they will come out children her and not it will be harm certainly he will be fined just as he will impose on him [the] husband of the woman and he will give for [the] estimate.
“Ọ bụrụ na mmadụ abụọ esite nʼịlụ ọgụ ha merụọ nwanyị dị ime ahụ, mee ka ime ahụ pụọ, ma nwanyị ahụ emerụghị nnukwu ahụ, di nwanyị ahụ ga-anara site nʼaka onye ahụ merụrụ nwunye ya ahụ ihe niile ọbụla o kwuru na a ga-akwụ ya, bụkwa nke ndị na-ekpe ikpe kpebiri.
23 And if harm it will be and you will give a life in place of a life.
Ma ọ bụrụ na nwanyị ahụ a nwụọ nʼihi mmerụ ahụ ahụ e merụrụ ya, a ga-eme ka nwoke ahụ merụrụ ya ahụ nwụọ.
24 An eye in place of an eye a tooth in place of a tooth a hand in place of a hand a foot in place of a foot.
Ọ bụrụ na ọ bụ anya ka a kụkpọrọ, anya nʼọnọdụ anya. Ọ bụrụkwa otu eze ka e tipụrụ, eze nʼọnọdụ eze. Otu ahụ kwa, aka nʼọnọdụ aka, ụkwụ nʼọnọdụ ụkwụ.
25 Burning in place of burning bruise in place of bruise wound in place of wound.
Ịda ọkụ nʼọnọdụ ịda ọkụ, ọnya mma, nʼọnọdụ ọnya mma, ihe otiti nʼọnọdụ ihe otiti.
26 And if he will strike anyone [the] eye of [male] slave his or [the] eye of female slave his and he will destroy it to free [person] he will set free him in place of eye his.
“Ọ bụrụ na mmadụ ọbụla esite nʼihe otiti o tiri ohu ya kụkpọọ ya anya, a ga-eme ka ohu ahụ nwere onwe ya, maọbụ ohu nwoke maọbụ ohu nwanyị, nʼihi na o jirila anya ya gbara onwe ya.
27 And if [the] tooth of [male] slave his or [the] tooth of female slave his he will knock out to free [person] he will set free him in place of tooth his.
Ọ bụrụ na mmadụ ọbụla etipụ eze ohu ya nwoke maọbụ ohu ya nwanyị, a ga-eme ka ohu ahụ nwere onwe ya nʼihi eze ya nke e tipụrụ.
28 And if it will gore an ox a man or a woman and he will die certainly it will be stoned to death the ox and not it will be eaten meat its and [the] owner of the ox [will be] free from guilt.
“Ọ bụrụ na ehi ejiri mpi ya sọda mmadụ si otu a mee ka onye ahụ nwụọ, a ga-atụgbu ehi ahụ na nkume. Mmadụ ọbụla agaghị erikwa anụ ehi ahụ. Ma a ga-agụ onyenwe ehi ahụ dịka onye ikpe na-amaghị.
29 And if [will be] an ox prone to gore it from yesterday three days ago and it has been protested on owner its and not he will guard it and it will kill a man or a woman the ox it will be stoned to death and also owner its he will be put to death.
Ọ bụrụ na ehi ahụ na-asọkarị ndị mmadụ mpi mgbe niile, agaghị eri anụ ya. Kama, ọ bụrụ na adọọla onyenwe ya aka na ntị banyere ehi ahụ ọtụtụ oge, ma o meghị ihe ọbụla banyere ya, a ga-eme ka ehi ahụ na onyenwe ya nwụọ.
30 If a ransom it will be imposed on him and he will give [the] ransom of life his according to all that it will be imposed on him.
Ma ọ bụrụ na ndị nwe mmadụ achọọ ka a kwụọ ha ụgwọ kama igbu onyenwe ehi ahụ, ndị ikpe ga-ekpebi ego ole onyenwe ehi ga-akwụ ha.
31 Or a son it will gore or a daughter it will gore according to the judgment this it will be done to him.
Otu a ka a ga-esikwa kpee ikpe nke ga-apụta ma ọ bụrụ na ehi asọda nwokorobịa maọbụ nwaagbọghọ ọbụla.
32 If a [male] slave it will gore the ox or a female slave silver - thirty shekels he will give to master his and the ox it will be stoned to death.
Kama ọ bụrụ na ehi asọda ohu nwoke maọbụ ohu nwanyị, onyenwe ehi ahụ ga-akwụ onyenwe ohu ahụ iri mkpụrụ ọlaọcha atọ. Emesịa, a ga-eji nkume tugbuo ehi ahụ.
33 And if he will open anyone a pit or for he will dig anyone a pit and not he will cover it and it will fall there an ox or a donkey.
“Ọ bụrụ onye ọbụla meghere olulu maọbụ gwuo olulu, ghara imechi ya, nke mere na ehi mmadụ maọbụ ịnyịnya ibu adaba nʼime ya,
34 [the] owner of The pit he will make compensation silver he will repay to owner its and the dead [animal] it will be[long] to him.
onye ahụ gwuru olulu ahụ ga-akwụ onyenwe anụ ụlọ ahụ ọnụọgụgụ ego o jiri zụta ya. Mgbe ahụ ọ ga-eburu ozu anụ ahụ nwụrụ anwụ.
35 And if it will strike [the] ox of anyone [the] ox of neighbor his and it will die and they will sell the ox living and they will divide silver its and also the dead [animal] they will divide!
“Ọ bụrụ na oke ehi mmadụ emerụọ oke ehi onye ọzọ ahụ, emesịa ehi dị otu a anwụọ, a ga-ere ehi nke dị ndụ, kewaa ego ya ụzọ abụọ. Otu a kwa, a ga-ekewa ehi nke nwụrụ anwụ, nye mmadụ abụọ ahụ otu ụzọ otu ụzọ.
36 Or it is known that [is] an ox prone to gore it from yesterday three days ago and not he guarded it owner its certainly he will make compensation an ox in place of the ox and the dead [animal] it will be[long] to him.
Ọ bụrụ na amaara na oke ehi ahụ na-asọ mpi mgbe niile nʼoge gara aga, ma onyenwe ya emeghị ihe ọbụla banyere ya, ọ ga-akwụzu ụgwọ ehi ahụ nwụrụ anwụ. Emesịa ehi ahụ nwụrụ anwụ ga-abụrụ nke ya.
