< Exodus 16 >
1 And they set out from Elim and they came all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel to [the] wilderness of Sin which [is] between Elim and between Sinai on [the] fif-teen day of the month second of going out their from [the] land of Egypt.
Afei, wɔtu firii Elim baa Sin ɛserɛ so a ɛda Elim ne Bepɔ Sinai ntam. Wɔtu firii Misraim no, bosome a ɛtɔ so mmienu dadu nnanum so na wɔduruu hɔ.
2 (And they grumbled *Q(K)*) all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel on Moses and on Aaron in the wilderness.
Wɔduruu hɔ no nso, nnipa no kasa tiaa Mose ne Aaron sɛ,
3 And they said to them [the] people of Israel who? will he give died we by [the] hand of Yahweh in [the] land of Egypt when sat we at [the] pot of the meat when ate we food to abundance for you have brought out us into the wilderness this to put to death all the assembly this by hunger.
“Ao! Sɛ yɛwɔ Misraim bio na anka Awurade rekunkum yɛn wɔ hɔ a, anka yɛpɛ. Na yɛnya nnuane bebree di wɔ hɔ. Nanso, mode yɛn abɛgu ɛserɛ so ha ama ɛkɔm rekum yɛn.”
4 And he said Yahweh to Moses here I [am] about to rain down for you bread from the heavens and it will go out the people and they will gather a matter of a day in day its so that I should put to [the] test it ¿ will it walk in law my or? not.
Ɛnna Awurade ka kyerɛɛ Mose sɛ, “Merebɛtɔ aduane firi soro abɛgu asase so ama wɔn. Obiara bɛtumi akɔboaboa dodoɔ biara a ɔpɛ ano ama deɛ ɔbɛdi no ɛda koro. Mede yei bɛsɔ wɔn ahwɛ sɛ wɔbɛdi mʼahyɛdeɛ so anaasɛ wɔrenni so.
5 And it will be on the day sixth and they will prepare [that] which they will bring and it will be double to [that] which they will gather day - day.
Ka kyerɛ wɔn na nnawɔtwe biara mu ɛda a ɛtɔ so nsia no, wɔmmoaboa aduane no ano sɛdeɛ daa wɔboaboa no no, mmɔho mmienu.”
6 And he said Moses and Aaron to all [the] people of Israel evening and you will know that Yahweh he brought out you from [the] land of Egypt.
Enti, Mose ne Aaron frɛɛ Israelfoɔ no nyinaa ne wɔn hyiaeɛ ka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Anwummerɛ yi, mobɛhunu sɛ Awurade na ɔyii mo firii Misraim asase so.
7 And morning and you will see [the] glory of Yahweh because has heard he grumblings your on Yahweh and [are] we what? that (you will cause to grumble *Q(K)*) on us.
Sɛ ɛduru anɔpa a, mobɛhunu nʼanimuonyanneɛ bebree; ɛfiri sɛ, wate mo anwiinwii a monwiinwii tia no no. Na yɛn ne hwan a monnwiinwii tia yɛn?
8 And he said Moses when gives Yahweh to you in the evening meat to eat and bread in the morning to be satisfied because has heard Yahweh grumblings your which you [are] grumbling on him and [are] we what? not [are] on us grumblings your for on Yahweh.
Anwummerɛ yi, Awurade bɛma mo ɛnam awe, na wama mo aduane anɔpa. Ɛfiri sɛ, wate mo anwiinwii a monwiinwii tia no no. Moannwiinwii antia yɛn, na monwiinwii tiaa Awurade.”
9 And he said Moses to Aaron say to all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel draw near before Yahweh for he has heard grumblings your.
Na Mose ka kyerɛɛ Aaron sɛ, “Ka kyerɛ Israelfoɔ no nyinaa sɛ wɔmmra Awurade anim na wɔmmɛtie wɔn anwiinwii no ho mmuaeɛ.”
10 And it was when spoke Aaron to all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel and they turned to the wilderness and there! [the] glory of Yahweh it appeared in the cloud.
Enti, Aaron frɛɛ wɔn boaa ano, na prɛko pɛ, wɔmaa wɔn ani so kyerɛɛ baabi a omununkum a ɛrekyerɛ wɔn ɛkwan no wɔ no, Awurade firii mu daa nʼanimuonyam kɛseɛ no adi.
11 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
Awurade ka kyerɛɛ Mose sɛ,
12 I have heard [the] grumblings of [the] people of Israel speak to them saying between the two evenings you will eat meat and in the morning you will be satisfied bread and you will know that I [am] Yahweh God your.
“Mate wɔn anwiinwii no, ka kyerɛ wɔn sɛ, ‘Anwummerɛ, mobɛnya ɛnam awe na anɔpa nso mobɛnya aduane pii adi na mobɛhunu sɛ mene Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, no.’”
13 And it was in the evening and it came up the quail and it covered the camp and in the morning it was [the] layer of the dew around the camp.
Anwummerɛ no, nnomaa pii bɛbuu so wɔ wɔn atenaeɛ hɔ na anɔpa no, obosuo tɔ guu ɛserɛ no so ma ɛyɛɛ fɔkyee;
14 And it went up [the] layer of dew and there! [was] on [the] surface of the wilderness thin [stuff] flake-like thin [stuff] like frost on the ground.
obosuo no tuiɛ no akyire no, biribi te sɛ nsenseneeɛ bi a ɛte sɛ nkyenkyeneeɛ bɛguu asase no so.
15 And they saw [the] people of Israel and they said each to brother his what? [is] it for not they knew what? [was] it and he said Moses to them it [is] the bread which he has given Yahweh to you to food.
Israelfoɔ no hunuiɛ no, wɔbisabisaa wɔn ho wɔn ho sɛ, “Ɛdeɛbɛn nie?” Na Mose buaa wɔn sɛ, “Ɛyɛ aduane a Awurade de ama mo sɛ monni no.
16 This [is] the word which he commands Yahweh gather some of it everyone to [the] mouth of food his an omer for the head [the] number of people your everyone for [those] who [are] in tent his you will take.
Awurade aka sɛ, ‘Obiara mmoaboa dodoɔ biara a ɛbɛso ɔne ne fiefoɔ die ano.’”
17 And they did so [the] people of Israel and they gathered [it] the [one who] made much and the [one who] made little.
Enti, Israelfoɔ no firii adi kɔboaboaa aduane no bi ano. Ebi faa pii ɛnna ebi faa kakraa bi.
18 And they measured [it] by the omer and not he had a surplus the [one who] made much and the [one who] made little not he had a lack everyone to [the] mouth of food his they had gathered.
Wɔhwiee deɛ wɔaboaboa ano no nyinaa guu susukoraa mu no, na ɛdɔɔso sɛ obiara bɛnya bi. Wɔn a wɔnyaa pii no, ebi anka, ɛnna wɔn a wɔnyaa kakra bi no nso, ɛsoo wɔn. Efie biara nyaa ne so ne ne deɛ.
19 And he said Moses to them everyone may not him leave over any of it until morning.
Mose ka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Mommma adeɛ nkye so.”
20 And not they listened to Moses and they left over people some of it until morning and it became rotten worms and it stank and he was angry towards them Moses.
Nanso, ebinom yɛɛ asoɔden maa adeɛ kyee so. Adeɛ kyee so no, na adɔre nsaama ma ɛbɔn enti Mose bo fuu wɔn yie.
21 And they gathered it in the morning in the morning everyone according to [the] mouth of food his and it was warm the sun and it melted.
Afei, na wɔkɔtase aduane no anɔpa biara, na wɔtase dodoɔ biara a, ɛso efie biara. Na awia bɔɔ dendeenden guu so no, aduane no nyinaa naneeɛ.
22 And it was - on the day sixth they gathered bread of double two omer[s] for the one and they came all [the] leaders of the congregation and they told to Moses.
Ɛda a ɛtɔ so nsia no, wɔtasee sɛdeɛ wɔtase no daa no mmɔho mmienu. Wɔtasee susukoraa nsia, nanso daa na wɔtase susukoraa mmiɛnsa. Mpanimfoɔ a wɔtuatua nnipa no ano no bɛbisaa Mose deɛ enti a aba saa.
23 And he said to them it [is that] which he said Yahweh a sabbath observance a sabbath of holiness to Yahweh [is] tomorrow [that] which you will bake bake and [that] which you will boil boil and all the surplus leave for yourselves for keeping until the morning.
Mose buaa wɔn sɛ, “Ɛfiri sɛ, Awurade aka ato hɔ sɛ, ‘Ɔkyena yɛ homeda. Ɛyɛ homeda kronkron ma Awurade a ɛnsɛ sɛ yɛyɛ yɛn nnwuma biara. Enti, monnoa dodoɔ biara a mopɛ ɛnnɛ, na deɛ ɛbɛka no, monnya ma adeɛ nkye so.’”
24 And they left it until the morning just as he had commanded Moses and not it stank and a maggot not it was in it.
Na adeɛ kyee so no, na ɛyɛ a nsaama biara nni mu na ɛmmɔn nso.
25 And he said Moses eat it this day for [is] a sabbath this day to Yahweh this day not you will find it in the field.
Mose kaa sɛ, “Ɛnnɛ, mo aduane nie, ɛfiri sɛ, ɛnnɛ yɛ Awurade homeda enti aduane biara rentɔ ngu asase so.
26 Six days you will gather it and on the day seventh a sabbath not it will be in it.
Momfa nna nsia mmoaboa aduane ano, ɛfiri sɛ, ɛda a ɛtɔ so nson no yɛ homeda enti morennya aduane biara saa ɛda no.”
27 And it was on the day seventh they went out some of the people to gather [it] and not they found [it].
Homeda no, nnipa no bi firii adi sɛ wɔrekɔpɛ aduane no bi, nanso na ebi nni hɔ.
28 And he said Yahweh to Moses until when? have you refused to keep commandments my and laws my.
Awurade bisaa Mose sɛ, “Saa nnipa yi bɛyɛ asoɔden akɔsi da bɛn?
29 Consider that Yahweh he has given to you the sabbath there-fore he [is] giving to you on the day sixth bread of two days remain - everyone in place his may not him go out anyone from place his on the day seventh.
Wɔnhunu sɛ nna nsia so no, memaa wɔn mmɔho mmienu sɛdeɛ ɛbɛso wɔn nnanu? Awurade se momfa ɛda a ɛtɔ so nson no sɛ homeda; montena mo ntomadan mu. Mommfiri adi nkɔtase aduane mfiri asase so.”
30 And they rested the people on the day seventh.
Enti, ɛda a ɛtɔ so nson no, nnipa no homee.
31 And they called [the] household of Israel name its manna and it [was] like [the] seed of coriander white and taste its [was] like a wafer with honey.
Israelfoɔ no too aduane no edin sɛ, Mana aseɛ ne “Ɛyɛ ɛdeɛn?” Ɛyɛ fitaa sɛ wisa aba na ɛyɛ dɛ te sɛ taterɛ a ɛwoɔ wɔ mu.
32 And he said Moses this [is] the word which he commands Yahweh [the] fullness of the omer of it [will be] for keeping to generations your so that - they may see the bread which I caused to eat you in the wilderness when brought out I you from [the] land of Egypt.
Mose kaa asɛm a Awurade ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ ɔnka nkyerɛ wɔn sɛ wɔmfa aduane no susukoraa mmiɛnsa na wɔmfa nkɔsie wɔn adekorabea afebɔɔ sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, nkyirimma bɛhunu aduane a Awurade de maa wɔn dii wɔ ɛserɛ so ɛberɛ a ɔyii wɔn firii Misraim no.
33 And he said Moses to Aaron take a jar one and put there [the] fullness of the omer manna and deposit it before Yahweh for keeping to generations your.
Mose ka kyerɛɛ Aaron sɛ ɔmfa kyɛnsee na ɔmfa mana lita mmiɛnsa ngu mu na ɔmfa nsie kronkronbea bi mma nkyirimma.
34 Just as he had commanded Yahweh to Moses and he deposited it Aaron before the testimony for keeping.
Aaron yɛɛ sɛdeɛ Awurade kyerɛɛ Mose sɛ ɔnyɛ no na ɔkɔkoraa no wɔ Apam Adaka no mu wɔ kronkronbea hɔ.
35 And [the] people of Israel they ate the manna forty year[s] until came they into a land inhabited the manna they ate until came they to [the] border of [the] land of Canaan.
Enti, Israelfoɔ dii mana yi mfeɛ aduanan kɔsii sɛ wɔduruu Kanaan asase so a ɛhɔ deɛ, na afuomduane wɔ no.
36 And the omer [is] [the] tenth [part] of the ephah it.
