Exodus 16
1 And they set out from Elim and they came all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel to [the] wilderness of Sin which [is] between Elim and between Sinai on [the] fif-teen day of the month second of going out their from [the] land of Egypt.
Partieron de Elim, y toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel llegó al desierto de Sin, que está entre Elim y Sinaí, el día quince del segundo mes después de su salida de la tierra de Egipto.
2 (And they grumbled *Q(K)*) all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel on Moses and on Aaron in the wilderness.
Toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel murmuró contra Moisés y contra Aarón en el desierto;
3 And they said to them [the] people of Israel who? will he give died we by [the] hand of Yahweh in [the] land of Egypt when sat we at [the] pot of the meat when ate we food to abundance for you have brought out us into the wilderness this to put to death all the assembly this by hunger.
y los hijos de Israel les dijeron: “Ojalá hubiéramos muerto por mano de Yahvé en la tierra de Egipto, cuando nos sentábamos junto a las ollas de carne, cuando nos saciábamos de pan, porque ustedes nos han traído a este desierto para matar de hambre a toda esta asamblea.”
4 And he said Yahweh to Moses here I [am] about to rain down for you bread from the heavens and it will go out the people and they will gather a matter of a day in day its so that I should put to [the] test it ¿ will it walk in law my or? not.
Entonces Yahvé dijo a Moisés: “He aquí que yo haré llover pan del cielo para ustedes, y el pueblo saldrá a recoger la porción de un día cada día, para que yo los pruebe, si andan o no en mi ley.
5 And it will be on the day sixth and they will prepare [that] which they will bring and it will be double to [that] which they will gather day - day.
Al sexto día prepararán lo que traigan, y será el doble de lo que recojan cada día.”
6 And he said Moses and Aaron to all [the] people of Israel evening and you will know that Yahweh he brought out you from [the] land of Egypt.
Moisés y Aarón dijeron a todos los hijos de Israel: “Al anochecer, sabrán que el Señor los ha sacado de la tierra de Egipto.
7 And morning and you will see [the] glory of Yahweh because has heard he grumblings your on Yahweh and [are] we what? that (you will cause to grumble *Q(K)*) on us.
Por la mañana, verán la gloria de Yahvé, porque él escucha sus murmuraciones contra Yahvé. ¿Quiénes somos nosotros, para que murmuren contra nosotros?”
8 And he said Moses when gives Yahweh to you in the evening meat to eat and bread in the morning to be satisfied because has heard Yahweh grumblings your which you [are] grumbling on him and [are] we what? not [are] on us grumblings your for on Yahweh.
Moisés dijo: “Ahora Yahvé os dará de comer por la tarde, y por la mañana pan para saciaros, porque Yahvé oye vuestras murmuraciones, que vosotros murmuráis contra él. ¿Y quiénes somos nosotros? Sus murmuraciones no son contra nosotros, sino contra Yahvé”.
9 And he said Moses to Aaron say to all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel draw near before Yahweh for he has heard grumblings your.
Moisés le dijo a Aarón: “Dile a toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel que se acerque a Yahvé, porque él ha escuchado sus murmuraciones”.
10 And it was when spoke Aaron to all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel and they turned to the wilderness and there! [the] glory of Yahweh it appeared in the cloud.
Mientras Aarón hablaba a toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel, miraron hacia el desierto, y he aquí que la gloria de Yahvé apareció en la nube.
11 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
Yahvé habló a Moisés diciendo:
12 I have heard [the] grumblings of [the] people of Israel speak to them saying between the two evenings you will eat meat and in the morning you will be satisfied bread and you will know that I [am] Yahweh God your.
“He oído las murmuraciones de los hijos de Israel. Háblales diciendo: ‘Al atardecer comeréis carne, y por la mañana os saciaréis de pan. Entonces sabrán que yo soy Yahvé, vuestro Dios’”.
13 And it was in the evening and it came up the quail and it covered the camp and in the morning it was [the] layer of the dew around the camp.
Al atardecer, las codornices subieron y cubrieron el campamento; y por la mañana el rocío se posó alrededor del campamento.
14 And it went up [the] layer of dew and there! [was] on [the] surface of the wilderness thin [stuff] flake-like thin [stuff] like frost on the ground.
Cuando el rocío que había caído se desvaneció, he aquí que en la superficie del desierto había una cosa pequeña y redonda, pequeña como la escarcha del suelo.
15 And they saw [the] people of Israel and they said each to brother his what? [is] it for not they knew what? [was] it and he said Moses to them it [is] the bread which he has given Yahweh to you to food.
Cuando los hijos de Israel lo vieron, se dijeron unos a otros: “¿Qué es?” Porque no sabían lo que era. Moisés les dijo: “Es el pan que el Señor les ha dado para comer.
16 This [is] the word which he commands Yahweh gather some of it everyone to [the] mouth of food his an omer for the head [the] number of people your everyone for [those] who [are] in tent his you will take.
Esto es lo que Yahvé ha ordenado: ‘Recoged de él cada uno según su consumo; un omer por cabeza, según el número de vuestras personas, lo tomaréis, cada uno para los que están en su tienda’.”
17 And they did so [the] people of Israel and they gathered [it] the [one who] made much and the [one who] made little.
Los hijos de Israel lo hicieron así, y unos recogieron más y otros menos.
18 And they measured [it] by the omer and not he had a surplus the [one who] made much and the [one who] made little not he had a lack everyone to [the] mouth of food his they had gathered.
Cuando lo midieron con un omer, al que recogió mucho no le sobró nada, y al que recogió poco no le faltó. Cada uno recogió según lo que comía.
19 And he said Moses to them everyone may not him leave over any of it until morning.
Moisés les dijo: “Que nadie deje nada de ello mañana”.
20 And not they listened to Moses and they left over people some of it until morning and it became rotten worms and it stank and he was angry towards them Moses.
Pero no escucharon a Moisés, sino que algunos de ellos dejaron parte de ella hasta la mañana, de modo que criaba gusanos y apestaba; y Moisés se enojó con ellos.
21 And they gathered it in the morning in the morning everyone according to [the] mouth of food his and it was warm the sun and it melted.
Lo recogieron de mañana en mañana, cada uno según su consumo. Cuando el sol se calentó, se derritió.
22 And it was - on the day sixth they gathered bread of double two omer[s] for the one and they came all [the] leaders of the congregation and they told to Moses.
Al sexto día, recogieron el doble de pan, dos omers para cada uno; y todos los jefes de la congregación vinieron a decírselo a Moisés.
23 And he said to them it [is that] which he said Yahweh a sabbath observance a sabbath of holiness to Yahweh [is] tomorrow [that] which you will bake bake and [that] which you will boil boil and all the surplus leave for yourselves for keeping until the morning.
Este les dijo: “Esto es lo que ha dicho el Señor: ‘Mañana es un descanso solemne, un sábado sagrado para el Señor. Horneen lo que quieran hornear, y hiervan lo que quieran hervir; y todo lo que sobre lo guarden hasta la mañana’”.
24 And they left it until the morning just as he had commanded Moses and not it stank and a maggot not it was in it.
Lo guardaron hasta la mañana, tal como lo ordenó Moisés, y no se ensució, ni hubo gusanos en él.
25 And he said Moses eat it this day for [is] a sabbath this day to Yahweh this day not you will find it in the field.
Moisés dijo: “Coman eso hoy, porque hoy es sábado para Yahvé. Hoy no lo encontrarás en el campo.
26 Six days you will gather it and on the day seventh a sabbath not it will be in it.
Seis días lo recogerás, pero el séptimo día es sábado. En él no habrá nada”.
27 And it was on the day seventh they went out some of the people to gather [it] and not they found [it].
El séptimo día, algunos del pueblo salieron a recoger, y no encontraron nada.
28 And he said Yahweh to Moses until when? have you refused to keep commandments my and laws my.
Yahvé dijo a Moisés: “¿Hasta cuándo os negáis a cumplir mis mandamientos y mis leyes?
29 Consider that Yahweh he has given to you the sabbath there-fore he [is] giving to you on the day sixth bread of two days remain - everyone in place his may not him go out anyone from place his on the day seventh.
Miren, porque Yahvé les ha dado el sábado, por eso les da en el sexto día el pan de dos días. Que cada uno se quede en su lugar. Que nadie salga de su lugar en el séptimo día”.
30 And they rested the people on the day seventh.
Así que el pueblo descansó el séptimo día.
31 And they called [the] household of Israel name its manna and it [was] like [the] seed of coriander white and taste its [was] like a wafer with honey.
La casa de Israel lo llamó “Maná”, y era como semilla de cilantro, blanco; y su sabor era como de obleas con miel.
32 And he said Moses this [is] the word which he commands Yahweh [the] fullness of the omer of it [will be] for keeping to generations your so that - they may see the bread which I caused to eat you in the wilderness when brought out I you from [the] land of Egypt.
Moisés dijo: “Esto es lo que Yahvé ha ordenado: ‘Guarden un omer lleno de él a lo largo de sus generaciones, para que vean el pan con el que los alimenté en el desierto, cuando los saqué de la tierra de Egipto’”.
33 And he said Moses to Aaron take a jar one and put there [the] fullness of the omer manna and deposit it before Yahweh for keeping to generations your.
Moisés le dijo a Aarón: “Toma una vasija y pon en ella un omer lleno de maná, y guárdalo delante de Yahvé, para que lo guarden a lo largo de sus generaciones.”
34 Just as he had commanded Yahweh to Moses and he deposited it Aaron before the testimony for keeping.
Tal como Yahvé le ordenó a Moisés, Aarón lo depositó ante el Testimonio, para que se conservara.
35 And [the] people of Israel they ate the manna forty year[s] until came they into a land inhabited the manna they ate until came they to [the] border of [the] land of Canaan.
Los hijos de Israel comieron el maná durante cuarenta años, hasta que llegaron a una tierra habitada. Comieron el maná hasta que llegaron a los límites de la tierra de Canaán.
36 And the omer [is] [the] tenth [part] of the ephah it.
Un omeres la décima parte de un efa.
