Exodus 15
1 Then he sang Moses and [the] people of Israel the song this to Yahweh and they said saying I will sing to Yahweh for certainly he is exalted [the] horse and rider its he has thrown in the sea.
Alors Moïse et les enfants d’Israël chantèrent ce cantique à l’Éternel. Ils dirent: Je chanterai à l’Éternel, car il a fait éclater sa gloire; Il a précipité dans la mer le cheval et son cavalier.
2 [is] might My and strength Yahweh and he has become of me salvation this [is] God my and I will glorify him [the] God of father my and I will exalt him.
L’Éternel est ma force et le sujet de mes louanges; C’est lui qui m’a sauvé. Il est mon Dieu: je le célèbrerai; Il est le Dieu de mon père: je l’exalterai.
3 Yahweh [is] a man of war Yahweh [is] name his.
L’Éternel est un vaillant guerrier; L’Éternel est son nom.
4 [the] chariots of Pharaoh and army his he has thrown in the sea and [the] choicest of officers his they have been sunk in [the] sea of reed[s].
Il a lancé dans la mer les chars de Pharaon et son armée; Ses combattants d’élite ont été engloutis dans la mer Rouge.
5 [the] deeps They have covered them they went down in [the] depths like a stone.
Les flots les ont couverts: Ils sont descendus au fond des eaux, comme une pierre.
6 Right [hand] your O Yahweh [was] glorious in power right [hand] your O Yahweh it shattered [the] enemy.
Ta droite, ô Éternel! A signalé sa force; Ta droite, ô Éternel! A écrasé l’ennemi.
7 And in [the] greatness of majesty your you threw down [those who] rose against you you sent forth anger your it consumed them like stubble.
Par la grandeur de ta majesté Tu renverses tes adversaires; Tu déchaînes ta colère: Elle les consume comme du chaume.
8 And by [the] breath of nostrils your they were piled up [the] waters they stood up like a heap streams they congealed [the] deeps in [the] heart of [the] sea.
Au souffle de tes narines, les eaux se sont amoncelées, Les courants se sont dressés comme une muraille, Les flots se sont durcis au milieu de la mer.
9 He said [the] enemy I will pursue I will overtake I will divide [the] plunder it will be full of them self my I will draw sword my it will dispossess them hand my.
L’ennemi disait: Je poursuivrai, j’atteindrai, Je partagerai le butin; Ma vengeance sera assouvie, Je tirerai l’épée, ma main les détruira.
10 You blew with breath your it covered them [the] sea they sank like lead in [the] waters mighty.
Tu as soufflé de ton haleine: La mer les a couverts; Ils se sont enfoncés comme du plomb, Dans la profondeur des eaux.
11 Who? [is] like you among the gods O Yahweh who? [is] like you glorious in holiness awesome of praises doing wonder[s].
Qui est comme toi parmi les dieux, ô Éternel? Qui est comme toi magnifique en sainteté, Digne de louanges, Opérant des prodiges?
12 You stretched out right [hand] your it swallowed up them [the] earth.
Tu as étendu ta droite: La terre les a engloutis.
13 You have guided in covenant loyalty your [the] people which you have redeemed you have led [them] by strength your to [the] abode of holiness your.
Par ta miséricorde tu as conduit, Tu as délivré ce peuple; Par ta puissance tu le diriges Vers la demeure de ta sainteté.
14 They have heard peoples they tremble! anguish it has seized [the] inhabitants of Philistia.
Les peuples l’apprennent, et ils tremblent: La terreur s’empare des Philistins;
15 Then they are terrified [the] chiefs of Edom [the] leaders of Moab it has seized them trembling they have melted away all [the] inhabitants of Canaan.
Les chefs d’Édom s’épouvantent; Un tremblement saisit les guerriers de Moab; Tous les habitants de Canaan tombent en défaillance.
16 It has fallen on them terror and dread on [the] greatness of strength your they have become still like stone until it has passed by people your O Yahweh until it has passed by [the] people which you have bought.
La crainte et la frayeur les surprendront; Par la grandeur de ton bras Ils deviendront muets comme une pierre, Jusqu’à ce que ton peuple soit passé, ô Éternel! Jusqu’à ce qu’il soit passé, Le peuple que tu as acquis.
17 You will bring them and you will plant them on [the] mountain of inheritance your a place to dwell you you have made O Yahweh a sanctuary O Lord they have established hands your.
Tu les amèneras et tu les établiras sur la montagne de ton héritage, Au lieu que tu as préparé pour ta demeure, ô Éternel! Au sanctuaire, Seigneur! Que tes mains ont fondé.
18 Yahweh - he will reign for ever and ever.
L’Éternel régnera éternellement et à toujours.
19 For it came [the] horse[s] of Pharaoh with chariot[s] his and with horsemen his in the sea and he brought back Yahweh over them [the] waters of the sea and [the] people of Israel they walked on the dry ground in [the] middle of the sea.
Car les chevaux de Pharaon, ses chars et ses cavaliers sont entrés dans la mer, Et l’Éternel a ramené sur eux les eaux de la mer; Mais les enfants d’Israël ont marché à sec au milieu de la mer.
20 And she took Miriam the prophetess [the] sister of Aaron the tambourine in hand her and they went out all the women behind her with tambourines and with dancing.
Marie, la prophétesse, sœur d’Aaron, prit à sa main un tambourin, et toutes les femmes vinrent après elle, avec des tambourins et en dansant.
21 And she sang to them Miriam sing to Yahweh for certainly he is exalted horse and rider its he has thrown in the sea.
Marie répondait aux enfants d’Israël: Chantez à l’Éternel, car il a fait éclater sa gloire; Il a précipité dans la mer le cheval et son cavalier.
22 And he led out Moses Israel from [the] sea of reed[s] and they went out into [the] wilderness of Shur and they went three days in the wilderness and not they found water.
Moïse fit partir Israël de la mer Rouge. Ils prirent la direction du désert de Schur; et, après trois journées de marche dans le désert, ils ne trouvèrent point d’eau.
23 And they came Marah towards and not they were able to drink waters from Marah for [were] bitter they there-fore someone called name its Marah.
Ils arrivèrent à Mara; mais ils ne purent pas boire l’eau de Mara parce qu’elle était amère. C’est pourquoi ce lieu fut appelé Mara.
24 And they grumbled the people on Moses saying what? will we drink.
Le peuple murmura contre Moïse, en disant: Que boirons-nous?
25 And he cried out to Yahweh and he showed him Yahweh a tree and he threw [it] into the waters and they became sweet the waters there he made for it a decree and a custom and there he put to [the] test it.
Moïse cria à l’Éternel; et l’Éternel lui indiqua un bois, qu’il jeta dans l’eau. Et l’eau devint douce. Ce fut là que l’Éternel donna au peuple des lois et des ordonnances, et ce fut là qu’il le mit à l’épreuve.
26 And he said certainly [if] you will listen to [the] voice of - Yahweh God your and the right in view his you will do and you will give ear to commandments his and you will keep all decrees his any sickness which I put on Egypt not I will put on you for I [am] Yahweh [who] heals you.
Il dit: Si tu écoutes attentivement la voix de l’Éternel, ton Dieu, si tu fais ce qui est droit à ses yeux, si tu prêtes l’oreille à ses commandements, et si tu observes toutes ses lois, je ne te frapperai d’aucune des maladies dont j’ai frappé les Égyptiens; car je suis l’Éternel, qui te guérit.
27 And they came Elim towards and [were] there two [plus] ten springs of water and seventy palm trees and they encamped there at the water.
Ils arrivèrent à Élim, où il y avait douze sources d’eau et soixante-dix palmiers. Ils campèrent là, près de l’eau.
