Exodus 14
1 And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.
Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
2 Speak to [the] people of Israel so they may turn back and they may encamp before Pi-hahiroth between Migdol and between the sea before Baal-Zephon opposite it you will encamp at the sea.
Ordena a los hijos de Israel que vuelvan y levanten sus tiendas delante de Pi-hahirot, entre Migdol y el mar, frente a Baal-zefón, frente a la cual pondrás tus tiendas junto al mar.
3 And he will say Pharaoh of [the] people of Israel [are] wandering in confusion they in the land it has shut on them the wilderness.
Y el Faraón dirá de los hijos de Israel: vagan sin rumbo; están encerrados en el desierto.
4 And I will make strong [the] heart of Pharaoh and he will pursue after them and I will gain honor by Pharaoh and by all army his and they will know Egypt that I [am] Yahweh and they did so.
Y yo endureceré el corazón de Faraón, y él los perseguirá, y seré honrado sobre Faraón y todo su ejército, para que Egipto vea que yo soy el Señor. Y lo hicieron.
5 And it was told to [the] king of Egypt that it had fled the people and it was changed [the] heart of Pharaoh and servants his to the people and they said what? this have we done that we have let go Israel from serving us.
Y llegó la noticia a Faraón de la huida del pueblo; y el sentir de Faraón y de sus siervos acerca del pueblo cambió, y dijeron: ¿Por qué dejamos ir a Israel para que no trabaje más por nosotros?
6 And he harnessed chariot his and people his he took with him.
Así que hizo preparar su carro de guerra y se llevó a su pueblo con él:
7 And he took six hundred chariot[s] chosen and all [the] chariotry of Egypt and officers [were] over all of it.
Y tomó seiscientos carruajes, todos los vagones de Egipto, y capitanes sobre todos ellos.
8 And he made strong Yahweh [the] heart of Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt and he pursued after [the] people of Israel and [the] people of Israel [were] going out with a hand raised.
Y el Señor endureció el corazón de Faraón, y siguió a los hijos de Israel; porque los hijos de Israel habían salido sin temor.
9 And they pursued Egypt after them and they overtook them encamped at the sea every horse of [the] chariotry of Pharaoh and horsemen his and army his at Pi-hahiroth before Baal-Zephon.
Pero los egipcios los siguieron, todos los caballos y carruajes de Faraón, y su gente de a caballo, y su ejército; y los alcanzaron en sus tiendas junto al mar, en Pi Hahirot, delante de Baal-zefón.
10 And Pharaoh he drew near and they lifted up [the] people of Israel eyes their and there! Egypt - [was] marching after them and they were afraid exceedingly and they cried out [the] people of Israel to Yahweh.
Cuando el Faraón se acercó, los hijos de Israel levantaron los ojos y vieron a los egipcios que los perseguían, llenos de temor. y su clamor fue a Dios.
11 And they said to Moses ¿ because not there not [were] graves in Egypt you brought us to die in the wilderness what? this have you done to us by bringing out us from Egypt.
Y ellos dijeron a Moisés: ¿No hay lugar de descanso para los muertos en Egipto, que nos has quitado para venir a nuestra muerte en el desierto? ¿Por qué nos has sacado de Egipto?
12 ¿ Not [is] this the word which we spoke to you in Egypt saying cease from us so let us serve Egypt for [is] better for us serving Egypt than to die us in the wilderness.
¿No te dijimos en Egipto: Seamos como nosotros, que trabajamos para los egipcios? porque es mejor ser siervos de los egipcios que venir a nuestra muerte en él desierto.
13 And he said Moses to the people may not you be afraid stand firm and see [the] deliverance of Yahweh which he will bring about for you this day for which you have seen Egypt this day not you will repeat to see them again until perpetuity.
Pero Moisés dijo: Quédate donde estás, y no temas; ahora verás la salvación del Señor que él te dará hoy; para los egipcios a quienes ves hoy nunca volverás a ver.
14 Yahweh he will fight for you and you you will keep quiet!
El Señor hará la guerra por ti, solo tienes que callarte.
15 And he said Yahweh to Moses why? are you crying out to me speak to [the] people of Israel so they may set out.
Y él Señor dijo a Moisés: ¿Por qué clamas a mí? dale a los hijos de Israel la orden de seguir adelante.
16 And you raise staff your and stretch out hand your over the sea and divide it so they may go [the] people of Israel in [the] middle of the sea on the dry ground.
Y tú levanta tu vara, y tu mano se extienda sobre el mar, y se partirá en dos; y los hijos de Israel pasarán en tierra firme.
17 And I here I [am] about to make strong [the] heart of Egypt so they may go after them and I will gain honor by Pharaoh and by all army his by chariot[s] his and by horsemen his.
Y endureceré el corazón de los egipcios, y los seguirán; y seré honrado sobre Faraón y sobre su ejército, sus carros de guerra y sus jinetes.
18 And they will know Egypt that I [am] Yahweh when gain honor I by Pharaoh by chariot[s] his and by horsemen his.
Y los egipcios verán que yo soy el Señor, cuando tenga honor sobre Faraón y sus carruajes de guerra y sus jinetes.
19 And he set out [the] angel of God who had been going before [the] camp of Israel and he went behind them and it set out [the] pillar of cloud from before them and it stood behind them.
Entonces el ángel de Dios, que había estado delante de las tiendas de Israel, tomó su lugar a sus espaldas; y la columna de nube, moviéndose de delante de ellos, vino a descansar a sus espaldas:
20 And it went between - [the] camp of Egypt and between [the] camp of Israel and it was the cloud and the darkness and it lit up the night and not it drew near this to this all the night.
Y vino entre el ejército de Egipto y el ejército de Israel; y había una nube oscura entre ellos, y luz para Israel de noche y continuaron toda la noche; pero nunca se acercaron el uno al otro.
21 And he stretched out Moses hand his over the sea and he drove Yahweh - the sea by a wind an east wind strong all the night and he made the sea into dry ground and they were divided the waters.
Y cuando la mano de Moisés se extendió sobre el mar, el SEÑOR con fuerte viento del oriente hizo retroceder el mar toda la noche, y las aguas se dividieron en dos, y el mar se convirtió en tierra seca.
22 And they went [the] people of Israel in [the] middle of the sea on the dry ground and the water for them [was] a wall from right their and from left their.
Y los hijos de Israel atravesaron el mar en seco; y las aguas eran un muro a su derecha e izquierda.
23 And they pursued Egypt and they went after them every horse of Pharaoh chariotry his and horsemen his into [the] middle of the sea.
Entonces los egipcios los siguieron hasta el medio del mar, todos los caballos de Faraón y sus carruajes de guerra y su gente de a caballo.
24 And it was in [the] watch of the morning and he looked down Yahweh to [the] camp of Egypt in a pillar of fire and cloud and he confused [the] camp of Egypt.
Y en la vigilia de la mañana, el Señor, mirando a los ejércitos de los egipcios desde la columna de fuego y nube, envió problemas al ejército de los egipcios;
25 And he turned aside [the] wheel[s] of chariots its and he caused to drive it with difficulty and it said Egypt let me flee from before Israel for Yahweh [is] fighting for them (against Egypt. *LB(ha)*)
Hicieron rígidas las ruedas de sus carros de guerra, y les costó trabajo guiarlos; y los egipcios dijeron: Huyamos de delante de la faz de Israel, porque él Señor pelea por ellos contra los egipcios.
26 And he said Yahweh to Moses stretch out hand your over the sea so they may return the waters over Egypt over chariot[s] its and over horsemen its.
Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Extiende tu mano sobre el mar, y las aguas volverán sobre los egipcios, sobre sus carros de guerra y sobre sus jinetes.
27 And he stretched out Moses hand his over the sea and it returned the sea to [the] turning of morning to normal [state] its and Egypt [were] fleeing to meet it and he shook off Yahweh Egypt in [the] middle of the sea.
Y cuando la mano de Moisés se extendía sobre el mar, al amanecer volvía el mar, y se encontraban con los egipcios en su huida, y el Señor envió destrucción sobre los egipcios en medio del mar.
28 And they returned the waters and they covered the chariot[s] and the horsemen to all [the] army of Pharaoh which had gone after them in the sea not it remained among them up to one.
Y volvieron las aguas, y cubrieron los carros de guerra, y los jinetes, y todo el ejército de Faraón que los seguía en medio del mar; ninguno de ellos sobrevivió.
29 And [the] people of Israel they walked on the dry ground in [the] middle of the sea and the water for them [was] a wall from right their (and from left their *LB(ah)*)
Pero los hijos de Israel atravesaron el mar caminando en tierra firme, y las aguas eran un muro a su derecha e izquierda.
30 and he delivered Yahweh on the day that Israel from [the] hand of Egypt and it saw Israel Egypt dead on [the] shore of the sea.
Así que aquel día, el Señor libró a Israel de la mano de los egipcios; e Israel vio a los egipcios muertos en la orilla del mar.
31 And it saw Israel the hand great which he had used Yahweh on Egypt and they feared the people Yahweh and they believed in Yahweh and in Moses servant his.
E Israel vio la gran obra que el Señor había hecho contra los egipcios, y el temor de él Señor vino sobre el pueblo y tuvieron fe en el Señor y en su siervo Moisés.
