Exodus 12
1 And he said Yahweh to Moses and to Aaron in [the] land of Egypt saying.
Yahweh dit à Moïse et à Aaron dans le pays d’Égypte:
2 The month this for you [will be the] beginning of months [will be] first it for you of [the] months of the year.
« Que ce mois-ci soit pour vous le commencement des mois; il sera pour vous le premier des mois de l’année.
3 Speak to all [the] congregation of Israel saying on the ten of the month this so they may take for themselves everyone a lamb for a household of fathers a lamb for the household.
Parlez à toute l’assemblée d’Israël, et dites: Le dixième jour de ce mois, que chacun prenne un agneau par famille, un agneau par maison.
4 And if it will be [too] small the household for being for a lamb and he will take he and neighbor his near to house his by [the] number of people each one to [the] mouth of food his you will estimate on the lamb.
Si la maison est trop peu nombreuse pour un agneau, on le prendra en commun avec le voisin le plus proche, selon le nombre des personnes; vous compterez pour cet agneau d’après ce que chacun peut manger.
5 A lamb unblemished male a son of a year it will be for you one of the lambs and one of the goats you will take.
Ce sera un agneau sans défaut, mâle, âgé d’un an; vous prendrez, soit un agneau, soit un chevreau.
6 And it will be for you for safekeeping until [the] four-teen day of the month this and they will slaughter it all [the] assembly of [the] congregation of Israel between the two evenings.
Vous le garderez jusqu’au quatorzième jour de ce mois, et toute l’assemblée d’Israël l’immolera entre les deux soirs.
7 And they will take some of the blood and they will put [it] on [the] two the doorposts and on the lintels on the houses which they will eat it in them.
On prendra de son sang, et on en mettra sur les deux montants et sur le linteau de la porte, dans les maisons où on le mangera.
8 And they will eat the meat in the night this roasted of fire and unleavened bread with bitter herbs they will eat it.
On en mangera la chair cette nuit-là; on la mangera rôtie au feu, avec des pains sans levain et des herbes amères.
9 May not you eat any of it raw and boiled being boiled in water that except roasted of fire head its with legs its and with entrails its.
Vous n’en mangerez rien cru ou bouilli dans l’eau, mais tout sera rôti au feu, tête, jambes et entrailles.
10 And not you will leave over any of it until morning and what is left over of it until morning with fire you will burn.
Vous n’en laisserez rien jusqu’au matin, et, s’il en reste quelque chose, vous le brûlerez au feu.
11 And thus you will eat it loins your girded sandals your on feet your and staff your in hand your and you will eat it in haste [is] a passover it to Yahweh.
Vous le mangerez ainsi: les reins ceints, les sandales aux pieds, et le bâton à la main, et vous le mangerez à la hâte. C’est la Pâque de Yahweh.
12 And I will pass in [the] land of Egypt in the night this and I will strike every firstborn in [the] land of Egypt from humankind and unto livestock and on all [the] gods of Egypt I will do acts of judgment I [am] Yahweh.
Je passerai cette nuit-là, par le pays d’Égypte, et je frapperai de mort tous les premiers-nés du pays d’Égypte, depuis les hommes jusqu’aux animaux, et j’exécuterai des jugements sur tous les dieux de l’Égypte. Je suis Yahweh.
13 And it will become the blood for you a sign on the houses where you [are] there and I will see the blood and I will pass over over you and not it will be among you a plague for destruction when strike I in [the] land of Egypt.
Le sang sera un signe en votre faveur sur les maisons où vous êtes: je verrai le sang et je passerai par-dessus vous, et il n’y aura point pour vous de plaie meurtrière quand je frapperai le pays d’Égypte.
14 And it will become the day this for you a memorial and you will celebrate a festival it a festival of Yahweh to generations your a statute of perpetuity you will celebrate as a festival it.
Vous conserverez le souvenir de ce jour, et vous le célébrerez par une fête en l’honneur de Yahweh; vous le célébrerez de génération en génération comme une institution perpétuelle.
15 Seven days unleavened bread you will eat surely on the day first you will remove leaven from houses your for - any [one who] eats leaven and he will be cut off the person that from Israel from [the] day first until [the] day seventh.
Pendant sept jours, vous mangerez des pains sans levain; dès le premier jour il n’y aura plus de levain dans vos maisons; car quiconque mangera du pain levé, du premier jour au septième, sera retranché d’Israël.
16 And [will be] on the day first a convocation of holiness and on the day seventh a convocation of holiness it will be to you any work not it will be done on them only [that] which it will be eaten by every person it to only it it will be done by you.
Le premier jour, vous aurez une sainte assemblée, et le septième jour, vous aurez une sainte assemblée. On ne fera aucun travail pendant ces jours-là; vous pourrez seulement préparer la nourriture de chacun.
17 And you will keep the unleavened bread for on [the] substance of the day this I brought out hosts your from [the] land of Egypt and you will keep the day this to generations your a statute of perpetuity.
Vous observerez les azymes, car c’est en ce jour même que j’ai fait sortir vos armées du pays d’Égypte. Vous observerez ce jour de génération en génération comme une institution perpétuelle.
18 In the first [month] on [the] four-teen day of the month in the evening you will eat unleavened bread until [the] day one and twenty of the month in the evening.
Le premier mois, le quatorzième jour du mois, au soir, vous mangerez des pains sans levain jusqu’au soir du vingt et unième jour.
19 Seven days leaven not it will be found in houses your for - any [one who] eats a thing leavened and he will be cut off the person that from [the] congregation of Israel in the sojourner and in [the] native-born of the land.
Sept jours durant, il ne doit pas se trouver de levain dans vos maisons, car quiconque mangera du pain levé sera retranché de l’assemblée d’Israël, que ce soit un étranger ou un indigène.
20 Any thing leavened not you will eat in all dwelling places your you will eat unleavened bread.
Vous ne mangerez point de pain levé; dans toutes vos demeures vous mangerez des pains sans levain. »
21 And he summoned Moses all [the] elders of Israel and he said to them draw and take for yourselves sheep to clans your and slaughter the passover.
Moïse convoqua tous les anciens d’Israël, et leur dit: « Choisissez et prenez un agneau pour vos familles, et immolez la Pâque.
22 And you will take a bunch of hyssop and you will dip [it] in the blood which [is] in the basin and you will make touch the lintels and [the] two the doorposts some of the blood which [is] in the basin and you not you will go out anyone from [the] door of house his until morning.
Puis, prenant un bouquet d’hysope, vous le tremperez dans le sang qui sera dans le bassin, et vous toucherez avec le sang qui sera dans le bassin le linteau et les deux montants de la porte. Nul d’entre vous ne sortira de l’entrée de sa maison jusqu’au matin.
23 And he will pass through Yahweh to strike Egypt and he will see the blood on the lintels and on [the] two the doorposts and he will pass over Yahweh over the doorway and not he will permit the destroyer to come into houses your to strike [you].
Yahweh passera pour frapper l’Égypte et, en voyant le sang sur le linteau et sur les deux montants, Yahweh passera vos portes, et il ne permettra pas au Destructeur d’entrer dans vos maisons pour frapper.
24 And you will keep the word this to a decree for yourself and for children your until perpetuity.
Vous observerez cet ordre comme une institution pour vous et pour vos enfants à perpétuité.
25 And it will be that you will come into the land which he will give Yahweh to you just as he said and you will keep the service this.
Lorsque vous serez entrés dans le pays que Yahweh vous donnera, selon sa promesse, vous observerez ce rite sacré.
26 And it will be that they will say to you children your what? [is] the service this to you.
Et quand vos enfants vous diront: Quelle signification a pour vous ce rite sacré?
27 And you will say [is] a sacrifice of passover it to Yahweh who he passed over over [the] houses of [the] people of Israel in Egypt when struck he Egypt and houses our he delivered and it bowed low the people and they bowed down.
vous répondrez: C’est un sacrifice de Pâque en l’honneur de Yahweh, qui a passé par-dessus les maisons des enfants d’Israël en Égypte, lorsqu’il frappa l’Égypte et sauva nos maisons. » Le peuple s’inclina et se prosterna.
28 And they went and they did [the] people of Israel just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses and Aaron so they did.
Et les enfants d’Israël s’en allèrent et firent ce que Yahweh avait ordonné à Moïse et à Aaron; ainsi firent-ils.
29 And it was - in [the] middle of the night and Yahweh he struck every firstborn in [the] land of Egypt from [the] firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on throne his unto [the] firstborn of the prisoner who [was] in [the] house of the cistern and every firstborn of livestock.
Au milieu de la nuit, Yahweh frappa tous les premiers-nés dans le pays d’Égypte, depuis le premier-né de Pharaon assis sur son trône, jusqu’au premier-né du captif dans sa prison, et à tous les premiers-nés des animaux.
30 And he arose Pharaoh night he and all servants his and all Egypt and it was a cry great in Egypt for there not [was] a house where there not there [was] a dead [person].
Pharaon se leva pendant la nuit, lui et tous ses serviteurs, et tous les Égyptiens, et il y eut une grande clameur en Égypte, car il n’y avait point de maison où il n’y eût un mort.
31 And he summoned Moses and Aaron night and he said arise go out from among people my both you as well as [the] people of Israel and go serve Yahweh as said you.
Dans la nuit même, Pharaon appela Moïse et Aaron, et leur dit: « Levez-vous, sortez du milieu de mon peuple, vous et les enfants d’Israël, et allez servir Yahweh, comme vous l’avez dit.
32 Both flock[s] your as well as herd[s] your take just as you said and go and you will bless also me.
Prenez vos brebis et vos bœufs, comme vous l’avez dit; allez, et bénissez-moi. »
33 And it urged Egypt on the people to hurry to send away them from the land for they said all of us [are] about to die.
Les Égyptiens pressaient vivement le peuple, ayant hâte de le renvoyer du pays, car ils disaient: « Nous sommes tous morts! »
34 And it carried off the people dough its before it was leavened kneading troughs their [were] bound up in clothes their on shoulder their.
Le peuple emporta sa pâte avant qu’elle fût levée; ayant serré dans leurs manteaux les corbeilles, ils les mirent sur leurs épaules.
35 And [the] people of Israel they did according to [the] word of Moses and they asked from Egypt articles of silver and articles of gold and clothes.
Les enfants d’Israël firent selon la parole de Moïse; ils demandèrent aux Égyptiens des objets d’argent, des objets d’or et des vêtements.
36 And Yahweh he gave [the] favor of the people in [the] eyes of Egypt and they granted [the] request them and they plundered Egypt.
Et Yahweh avait fait trouver au peuple faveur aux yeux des Égyptiens, qui accueillirent leur demande. Et ils dépouillèrent les Égyptiens.
37 And they set out [the] people of Israel from Rameses Succoth towards [were] about six hundred thousand foot soldier[s] the men apart from little one[s].
Les enfants d’Israël partirent de Ramsès pour Socoth, au nombre d’environ six cent mille piétons, sans les enfants.
38 And also a mixed company numerous it went up with them and flock[s] and herd[s] livestock numerous very.
En outre, une grande multitude de gens de toute sorte monta avec eux; ils avaient aussi des troupeaux considérables de brebis et de bœufs.
39 And they baked the dough which they had brought out from Egypt bread cakes unleavened bread for not it was leavened for they had been driven out from Egypt and not they had been able to delay and also provision[s] not they had made for themselves.
Ils cuisirent en galettes non levées la pâte qu’ils avaient emportée d’Égypte; car elle n’était pas levée, parce qu’ils avaient été chassés d’Égypte sans pouvoir tarder, ni prendre de provisions avec eux.
40 And [the] dwelling of [the] people of Israel which they dwelt in Egypt [was] thirty year[s] and four hundred year[s].
Le séjour des enfants d’Israël en Égypte fut de quatre cents trente ans.
41 And it was from [the] end of thirty year[s] and four hundred year[s] and it was on [the] substance of the day this they went out all [the] hosts of Yahweh from [the] land of Egypt.
Et au bout de quatre cent trente ans, ce jour-là même, toutes les armées de Yahweh sortirent du pays d’Égypte.
42 [was] a night of Vigil it for Yahweh to bring out them from [the] land of Egypt it the night this for Yahweh vigil for all [the] people of Israel to generations their.
Ce fut une nuit de veille pour Yahweh quand il fit sortir Israël du pays d’Égypte; cette même nuit sera une veille en l’honneur de Yahweh, pour tous les enfants d’Israël selon leurs générations.
43 And he said Yahweh to Moses and Aaron this [is] [the] statute of the passover any son of foreignness not he will eat in it.
Yahweh dit à Moïse et à Aaron: « Voici une ordonnance au sujet de la Pâque: Aucun étranger n’en mangera.
44 And every slave of anyone [the] purchase of silver and you will circumcise him then he will eat in it.
Tu circonciras tout esclave acquis à prix d’argent, et il en mangera;
45 A resident alien and a hired laborer not he will eat in it.
mais le domicilié et le mercenaire n’en mangeront point.
46 In a house one it will be eaten not you will bring out from the house any of the meat [the] outside towards and a bone not you will break in it.
On ne la mangera que dans la maison; vous n’emporterez point de chair hors de la maison, et vous ne briserez aucun os.
47 All [the] congregation of Israel they will do it.
Toute l’assemblée d’Israël fera la Pâque.
48 And if he will sojourn with you a sojourner and he will observe a passover to Yahweh he will be circumcised of him every male and then he will draw near to observe it and he will be like [the] native-born of the land and any uncircumcised [man] not he will eat in it.
Si un étranger séjournant chez toi veut faire la Pâque de Yahweh, tout mâle de sa maison devra être circoncis, et alors il s’approchera pour la faire, et il sera comme l’indigène du pays mais aucun incirconcis n’en mangera.
49 Law one it will be[long] to the native-born and to the sojourner who sojourns in midst of you.
Une même loi sera pour l’indigène et pour l’étranger séjournant au milieu de vous. »
50 And they did all [the] people of Israel just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses and Aaron so they did.
Tous les enfants d’Israël firent ce que Yahweh avait ordonné à Moïse et à Aaron; ainsi firent-ils.
51 And it was on [the] substance of the day this he brought out Yahweh [the] people of Israel from [the] land of Egypt on hosts their.
Et ce même jour, Yahweh fit sortir du pays d’Égypte les enfants d’Israël selon leurs armées.
