< Exodus 10 >

1 And he said Yahweh to Moses go to Pharaoh for I I have made heavy heart his and [the] heart of servants his so as to perform I signs my these in midst his.
Pea naʻe folofola ʻa Sihova kia Mōsese, “ʻAlu kia Felo: he kuo u fakafefeka hono loto, mo e loto ʻo ʻene kau tamaioʻeiki, koeʻuhi ke u fakahā ʻa ʻeku ngaahi fakaʻilonga ni ʻi hono ʻao:
2 And so that you may recount in [the] ears of son your and [the] son of son your how I have dealt ruthlessly with Egypt and signs my which I performed among them and you will know that I [am] Yahweh.
Pea koeʻuhi ke ke tala ʻi he telinga ʻo ho foha, mo e fānau ʻa ho foha, ʻae ngaahi meʻa kuo u fai ʻi ʻIsipite, mo ʻeku ngaahi fakaʻilonga, ʻaia kuo u fai ʻi honau ʻao koeʻuhi ke mou ʻilo ko au ko Sihova.”
3 And he went Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh and they said to him thus he says Yahweh [the] God of the Hebrews until when? have you refused to humble yourself from before me let go people my so they may serve me.
Pea naʻe ʻalu ʻa Mōsese mo ʻElone kia Felo, ʻo na pehē kiate ia, “ʻOku pehē mai ʻa Sihova ko e ʻOtua ʻoe kakai Hepelū, ‘ʻE tuku afe hoʻo taʻefakavaivai koe ʻi hoku ʻao? Tuku hoku kakai ke ʻalu, koeʻuhi ke nau tauhi au.’
4 That except [are] refusing you to let go people my here I [am] about to bring tomorrow locust[s] in territory your.
Pea kapau te ke taʻofi ʻae tukuange ʻo hoku kakai, vakai, te u ʻomi ʻae fanga heʻe ki ho fonua ʻapongipongi:
5 And it will cover [the] eye of the land and not anyone will be able to see the ground and it will eat - [the] remainder of the escaped thing which remains to you from the hail and it will eat every tree that is sprouting for you from the field.
Pea te nau ʻufiʻufi ʻae funga ʻoe fonua, pea ʻe ʻikai faʻa mamata ʻe ha tokotaha ki he kelekele: pea te nau kai ʻo ʻosi hono toe ʻo ia naʻe hao, ʻaia naʻe toe ʻiate kimoutolu mei he ʻuha maka, pea te nau kai ʻae ʻakau kotoa pē ʻoku tupu ʻi he ngoue kiate kimoutolu:
6 And they will be full houses your and [the] houses of all servants your and [the] houses of all Egypt which not they saw ancestors your and [the] ancestors of ancestors your from [the] day were they on the land until the day this and he turned and he went out from with Pharaoh.
Pea te nau fakapito ho ngaahi fale, mo e ngaahi fale ʻo hoʻo kau tamaioʻeiki, mo e ngaahi fale ʻoe kakai ʻIsipite kotoa pē; ʻaia naʻe ʻikai mamata ai ʻa hoʻo ngaahi tamai, pe ko e nau ngaahi kui, talu ʻae ʻaho naʻa nau ʻi he fonua ʻo aʻu ki he ʻaho ni. Pea naʻe tafoki ia ʻo ʻalu mei he ʻao ʻo Felo.”
7 And they said [the] servants of Pharaoh to him until when? will he become this [man] for us a snare let go the people so they may serve Yahweh God their ¿ not yet do you know that it will perish Egypt.
Pea pehē ʻe he kau tamaioʻeiki ʻa Felo kiate ia, “ʻE fēfeeʻi hono fuoloa mo e kei ʻiate kitautolu ʻae tangata ni ko e tauhele? Tuku ʻae kau tangata ke ʻalu, koeʻuhi ke nau tauhi ʻa Sihova ko honau ʻOtua: ʻoku teʻeki ai te ke ʻilo kuo ʻauha ʻa ʻIsipite?”
8 And he was brought back Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh and he said to them go serve Yahweh God your who? and who? [are] the [ones] going.
Pea naʻe toe omi ʻa Mōsese mo ʻElone kia Felo: pea pehē ʻe ia kiate kinaua, “ʻAlu ʻo tauhi ʻa Sihova ko homou ʻOtua: ka ko hai ʻakinautolu ʻe ʻalu?
9 And he said Moses with young men our and with old [men] our we will go with sons our and with daughters our with flock[s] our and with herds our we will go for festival of Yahweh [will belong] to us.
Pea pehē ʻe Mōsese, Te mau ʻalu mo e mau fānau siʻi mo e mau mātuʻa, mo homau ngaahi foha, mo homau ngaahi ʻofefine, ʻa ʻemau fanga sipi mo ʻemau fanga manu lalahi: he ʻoku tonu ke mau fai ha kātoanga kia Sihova.”
10 And he said to them may he be thus Yahweh with you just as I will let go you and little one[s] your see that evil [is] before faces your.
Pea pehē ʻe ia kiate kinaua, “Ke ʻiate kimoutolu pehē pe ʻa Sihova, ʻo kapau te u tuku ʻakimoutolu ke ʻalu mo hoʻomou fānau iiki: vakai ki ai; he ʻoku ʻi homou ʻao ʻae kovi.”
11 Not so go please the men and serve Yahweh for it you [are] requesting and someone drove out them from with [the] face of Pharaoh.
“ʻE ʻikai pehē: ka e ʻalu pe ʻakimoutolu ʻoku tangata, pea tauhi ʻa Sihova; he ko ia ne mou kole ki ai.” Pea naʻe kapusi ai ʻakinaua mei he ʻao ʻo Felo.
12 And he said Yahweh to Moses stretch out hand your over [the] land of Egypt for the locust[s] so may it come up on [the] land of Egypt so it may eat all [the] vegetation of the land all that it left over the hail.
Pea naʻe folofola ʻa Sihova kia Mōsese, “Mafao atu ho nima ki he fonua ko ʻIsipite ki he fanga heʻe, koeʻuhi ke nau ʻalu hake ki he fonua ko ʻIsipite, ʻo kai ʻae ʻakau kotoa pē ʻoe fonua, ʻio, ʻaia kotoa pē naʻe hao ʻi he ʻuha maka.”
13 And he stretched out Moses staff his over [the] land of Egypt and Yahweh he drove a wind of [the] east in the land all the day that and all the night the morning it was and [the] wind of the east it carried the locust[s].
Pea naʻe mafao atu ʻae tokotoko ʻo Mōsese, ki he fonua ko ʻIsipite, pea naʻe ʻomi ʻe Sihova ʻae matangi hahake ki he fonua ʻi he ʻaho ko ia, pea mo e pō kotoa ko ia; pea kuo pongipongi ai, naʻe ʻomi ʻe he matangi hahake ʻae fanga heʻe.
14 And it came up the locust[s] on all [the] land of Egypt and it settled down in all [the] territory of Egypt heavy very before it not it had been thus locust[s] like it and after it not it will be thus.
Pea naʻe ʻalu hake ʻae fanga heʻe ki he potu fonua kotoa pē ʻo ʻIsipite, ʻo tuʻu ʻi he ngaahi potu kotoa pē ʻo ʻIsipite; ko e meʻa fakamamahi ʻaupito: naʻe ʻikai ha fanga heʻe pehē ʻi muʻa, pea ʻe ʻikai ha toe heʻe pehē ʻamui.
15 And it covered [the] eye of all the land and it grew dark the land and it ate all [the] vegetation of the land and all [the] fruit of the tree[s] which it had left over the hail and not it was left behind any greenery on the tree[s] and on [the] vegetation of the field in all [the] land of Egypt.
He naʻa nau ʻufiʻufi ʻae funga fonua kotoa pē, ko ia naʻe fakapoʻuli ai ʻae fonua: pea naʻe kai ʻae ʻakau kotoa pē ʻoe fonua, mo e fua kotoa pē ʻoe ngaahi ʻakau naʻe toe ʻi he ʻuha maka: pea naʻe ʻikai ha meʻa mata ʻe toe ʻi he ngaahi ʻakau pe ʻi he ngaahi louʻakau ʻoe ngoue, ʻi he fonua kotoa pē ʻo ʻIsipite.
16 And he hurried Pharaoh to summon Moses and Aaron and he said I have sinned to Yahweh God your and to you.
Pea naʻe fekau fakatoʻotoʻo ʻe Felo ke haʻu ʻa Mōsese mo ʻElone; ʻo ne pehē, “Kuo u fai angahala kia Sihova, ko homou ʻOtua, pea mo kimoua.
17 And therefore forgive please sin my only this time and pray to Yahweh God your so may he remove from on me only the death this.
Pea ko ʻeni, ʻoku ou kole kiate koe, fakamolemole ʻeku angahala ʻi he meʻa ni pe taha, pea fakakolekole kia Sihova ko homou ʻOtua, koeʻuhi ke ne ʻave pe ʻiate au ʻae mate ni.”
18 And he went out from with Pharaoh and he prayed to Yahweh.
Pea naʻe ʻalu ia mei he ʻao ʻo Felo, ʻo hū kia Sihova.
19 And he turned Yahweh a wind west strong very and it carried away the locust[s] and it blew it [the] sea of towards reed[s] not it remained a locust one in all [the] territory of Egypt.
Pea liliu ʻe Sihova ʻae fuʻu matangi mālohi mei lulunga, ʻaia naʻa ne ʻave ʻae fanga heʻe, ʻo lī ia ki he tahi Kulokula; naʻe ʻikai ke toe ha heʻe ʻe taha ʻi he potu fonua kotoa pē ʻo ʻIsipite.
20 And he made strong Yahweh [the] heart of Pharaoh and not he let go [the] people of Israel.
Ka naʻe fakafefeka ʻe Sihova ʻae loto ʻo Felo, pea naʻe ʻikai te ne tuku ʻae fānau ʻa ʻIsileli ke ʻalu.
21 And he said Yahweh to Moses stretch out hand your to the heavens so may it be darkness over [the] land of Egypt so they may feel darkness.
Pea naʻe folofola ʻa Sihova kia Mōsese, “Mafao hake ho nima ki langi, koeʻuhi he hoko ai ʻae fakapoʻuli ki he fonua kotoa pē ʻo ʻIsipite, ʻio, ʻae poʻuli matolu.”
22 And he stretched out Moses hand his to the heavens and it was darkness of darkness in all [the] land of Egypt three days.
Pea naʻe mafao hake hono nima ʻe Mōsese ki langi; pea hoko ʻae poʻuli matolu ʻi he fonua kotoa pē ʻo ʻIsipite ʻi he ʻaho ʻe tolu:
23 Not they saw each brother his and not they rose anyone from under him three days and to all [the] people Israel it be[longed] light in dwelling places their.
Naʻe ʻikai te nau femātaaki ʻakinautolu, pea naʻe ʻikai tuʻu hake ha tokotaha mei hono potu ʻi he ʻaho ʻe tolu: ka naʻe māmangia ʻae fānau ʻa ʻIsileli ʻi honau ngaahi nofoʻanga.
24 And he summoned Pharaoh Moses and he said go serve Yahweh only flock[s] your and herd[s] your it will be detained also little one[s] your it will go with you.
Pea naʻe ui ʻe Felo kia Mōsese, ʻo ne pehē, “Mou ʻalu, ʻo tauhi ʻa Sihova: kae tuku hoʻomou fanga sipi, mo e fanga manu lalahi; kae ʻalu hoʻomou ngaahi fānau siʻi mo kimoutolu.”
25 And he said Moses also you you will give in hand our sacrifices and burnt offerings and we will offer [them] to Yahweh God our.
Pea naʻe pehē ʻe Mōsese, “Ka te ke tuku mai ʻae ngaahi feilaulau foki mo e ngaahi feilaulau tutu, koeʻuhi ke mau feilaulau ʻaki kia Sihova ko homau ʻOtua.
26 And also livestock our it will go with us not it will remain a hoof for some of it we will take to serve Yahweh God our and we not we will know what? will we serve Yahweh until go we there.
‌ʻE ʻalu ʻemau fanga manu mo kimautolu ʻe ʻikai tuku ki mui ha pesipesi pe taha koeʻuhi te mau toʻo mei ai ʻaia te mau tauhi ʻaki ʻa Sihova ko homau ʻOtua: pea ʻoku ʻikai te mau ʻilo pau, ʻaia te mau tauhi ʻaki ʻa Sihova, kaeʻoua ke mau hoko ki ai.”
27 And he made strong Yahweh [the] heart of Pharaoh and not he was willing to let go them.
Ka naʻe fakafefeka ʻe Sihova ʻae loto ʻo Felo, pea naʻe ʻikai te ne tukuange ʻakinautolu ke ʻalu.
28 And he said to him Pharaoh go from with me take heed to yourself to may you repeat to see face my for on [the] day seeing you face my you will die.
Pea talaange ʻe Felo kiate ia, “ʻAlu koe ʻiate au, vakai kiate koe, ʻoua naʻa ke toe sio ki hoku mata; he ko e ʻaho ko ia te ke mamata ai ki hoku mata te ke mate.”
29 And he said Moses right you have spoken not I will repeat again to see face your.
Pea pehē ʻe Mōsese, “Kuo ke lea lelei, ʻe ʻikai te u toe mamata ki ho mata.”
