Esther 9
1 And in two [plus] ten month that [is] [the] month of Adar on thir-teen day in it when it approached [the] word of the king and law his to be done on the day when they had hoped [the] enemies of the Jews to domineer over them and it was reversed it that they domineered the Jews they over [those who] hated them.
Ahora, a los trece días del duodécimo mes, que es el mes de Adar, cuando llegó el momento de que se pusiera en práctica la orden del rey, el mismo día en que los que odiaban a los judíos esperaban poder gobernar sobre ellos; aunque había ocurrido lo contrario, y los judíos gobernaron a sus enemigos;
2 They assembled the Jews in cities their in all [the] provinces of the king Ahasuerus to stretch out a hand on those seeking harm their and anyone not he stood before them for it had fallen dread of them on all the peoples.
En ese día, los judíos se reunieron en sus pueblos a través de todas las provincias del reino de Asuero, con el propósito de atacar a todos los que intentaban el mal contra ellos; y todos tenían que ceder ante ellos, por el temor a ellos había venido sobre todos los pueblos.
3 And all [the] officials of the provinces and the satraps and the governors and [the] doers of the work which [belonged] to the king [were] supporting the Jews for it had fallen [the] dread of Mordecai on them.
Y todos los jefes, los capitanes, los gobernantes y los que hicieron los negocios del rey dieron apoyo a los judíos; porque el miedo a Mardoqueo había venido sobre ellos.
4 For [was] great Mordecai in [the] house of the king and [the] report of him [was] going in all the provinces for the man Mordecai [was] going and becoming great.
Porque Mardoqueo era poderoso en la casa del rey, y corrió la voz de su fama por todo el reino, porque el hombre Mardoqueo se hizo cada vez más poderoso.
5 And they struck down the Jews all enemies their a striking down of sword and slaughter and destruction and they did over [those who] hated them according to pleasure their.
Entonces los judíos vencieron a todos sus atacantes con la espada y con la muerte y la destrucción, e hicieron a sus enemigos todo lo que quisieron.
6 And in Susa the citadel they killed the Jews and they destroyed five hundred man.
Y en Susa, los judíos mataron a quinientos hombres.
7 And - Parshandatha and - Dalphon and - Aspatha.

8 And - Poratha and - Adalia and - Aridatha.

9 And - Parmashta and - Arisai and - Aridai and - Vaizatha.

10 [the] ten [the] sons of Haman [the] son of Hammedatha [the] opposer of the Jews they killed and on the plunder not they stretched out hand their.
Los diez hijos de Amán, hijo de Hamedata, el enemigo de los judíos; Pero no echaron mano a ninguno de sus bienes.
11 On the day that it came [the] number of those killed in Susa the citadel before the king.
Ese día se dio al rey el número de los que habían muerto en la ciudad de Susa.
12 And he said the king to Esther the queen in Susa the citadel they have killed the Jews and they have destroyed five hundred man and [the] ten [the] sons of Haman in [the] rest of [the] provinces of the king what? have they done and what? [is] petition your so it may be given to you and what? [is] request your more and it may be done.
Y el rey dijo a la reina Ester: Los judíos han matado a quinientos hombres en Susa, así como a los diez hijos de Amán: ¡qué más habran hecho en el resto del reino! Ahora cuál es tu deseo? porque te será dado; ¿Qué otra petición tienes? y será hecho.
13 And she said Esther if [is] on the king good let it be permitted also tomorrow to the Jews who [are] in Susa to do according to [the] law of this day and [the] ten [the] sons of Haman let them hang on the gallows.
Entonces Ester dijo: Si es un placer del rey, que se dé autoridad a los judíos en Susa para que hagan mañana como se ha hecho hoy, y que se den órdenes para el ahorcamiento de los diez hijos de Amán.
14 And he said the king to be done thus and it was given [the] law in Susa and [the] ten [the] sons of Haman people hanged.
Y el rey dijo que esto iba a hacerse, y la orden fue dada en Susa, y el ahorcamiento de los diez hijos de Amán fue efectuado.
15 And they assembled (the Jews *Q(k)*) who [were] in Susa also on day four-teen of [the] month of Adar and they killed in Susa three hundred man and on the plunder not they stretched out hand their.
Porque los judíos que estaban en Susa se reunieron de nuevo el día catorce del mes Adar y mataron a trescientos hombres en Susa. Pero no pusieron una mano sobre sus bienes.
16 And [the] remainder of the Jews who [were] in [the] provinces of the king they assembled - and they made a stand on life their and they had rest from enemies their and they killed among [those who] hated them five and seventy thousand and on the plunder not they stretched out hand their.
Y los demás judíos de todas las provincias del reino se unieron, lucharon por sus vidas, obtuvieron la salvación de sus enemigos y mataron a setenta y cinco mil de ellos; Pero no pusieron mano a sus bienes.
17 On day thir-teen of [the] month of Adar and they rested on [day] four-teen in it and they made it a day of feast and joy.
Esto hicieron el día trece del mes Adar; y el día catorce del mismo mes tomaron su descanso y lo convirtieron en un día de fiesta y alegría.
18 (And the Jews *Q(k)*) who [were] in Susa they assembled on [day] thir-teen in it and on [day] four-teen in it and they rested on [day] fif-teen in it and they made it a day of feast and joy.
Pero los judíos en Susa se reunieron el trece y el catorce día del mes; y en el decimoquinto día tomaron su descanso, y lo hicieron un día de fiesta y alegría.
19 There-fore the Jews (the rural villagers *Q(k)*) who were dwelling in [the] cities of the open regions [are] observing day four-teen of [the] month Adar joy and a feast and a day good and [the] sending of portions each to neighbor his.
Entonces, los lugares de los judíos del país que viven en pueblos sin murallas, hacen del decimocuarto día del mes Adar un día de fiesta y alegría y un buen día, un día para enviar ofrendas uno a otro.
20 And he wrote Mordecai the words these and he sent out letters to all the Jews who [were] in all [the] provinces of the king Ahasuerus near and far.
Y Mardoqueo envió cartas a todos los judíos en todas las provincias del reino de Asuero, cercanas y lejanas.
21 To impose on them to be observing day four-teen of [the] month Adar and day fif-teen in it in every year and year.
Ordenándoles que guarden el decimocuarto día del mes Adar y el decimoquinto día del mismo mes, todos los años.
22 As the days when they had rest on them the Jews from enemies their and the month when it was changed for them from sorrow into joy and from mourning into a day good to make them days of feast and joy and [the] sending of portions each to neighbor his and gifts to the needy [people].
Como días en que los judíos descansaron de sus enemigos, y el mes que para ellos se convirtió de tristeza en alegría, y de llanto a gozo: y que debían guardarlos como días de fiesta y alegría, de enviar ofrendas unos a otros y cosas buenas a los pobres.
23 And he accepted the Jews [that] which they had begun to do and [that] which he had written Mordecai to them.
Y los judíos dieron su palabra para continuar como lo habían estado haciendo y como Mardoqueo les había dado órdenes por escrito;
24 For Haman [the] son of Hammedatha the Agagite [the] opposer of all the Jews he had planned on the Jews to destroy them and he had cast Pur that [is] the lot to trouble them and to destroy them.
Porque Aman, el hijo de Hamedata de Agag, el que odia a todos los judíos, había hecho planes para su destrucción, intentando obtener una decisión de Pur es decir, de probabilidad con el fin de acabar con ellos y destruirlos;
25 And when came it before the king he said with the letter let it return plan his evil which he had planned on the Jews on own head his and people will hang him and sons his on the gallows.

26 There-fore people called the days these Purim on [the] name of the Pur there-fore on all [the] words of the letter this and whatever they had seen on thus and whatever it had happened to them.
Así que estos días fueron nombrados Purim, después del nombre de Pur. Y así, debido a las palabras de esta carta, y de lo que habían visto en relación con este negocio, y lo que les había tocado vivir.
27 They imposed (and they accepted *Q(K)*) the Jews - on themselves - and on offspring their and on all who joined themselves to them and not it will pass away to be observing [the] two the days these according to writing their and according to appointed time their in every year and year.
Los judíos establecieron una regla y se comprometieron, haciendo que su simiente y todos los que se unieron a ellos hicieran lo mismo, para que esté vigente para siempre, que mantendrían esos dos días, según lo ordenado en la carta, en el horario fijo de cada año;
28 And the days these [were] remembered and observed in every generation and generation clan and clan province and province and city and city and [the] days of the Purim these not they will pass away from among the Jews and remembrance their not it will cease from offspring their.

29 And she wrote Esther the queen [the] daughter of Abihail and Mordecai the Jew all authority to confirm [the] letter of the Purim this second.
Entonces Ester la reina, hija de Abihail, y Mardoqueo, el judío, enviaron una segunda carta para confirmar su autoridad a la orden sobre Purim.
30 And he sent letters to all the Jews to seven and twenty and one hundred province[s] [the] kingdom of Ahasuerus words of peace and truth.
Y envió cartas a todos los judíos en las ciento veintisiete provincias del reino de Asuero, con palabras de paz y verdad.
31 To confirm [the] days of the Purim these at appointed times their just as he had imposed on them Mordecai the Jew and Esther the queen and just as they had imposed on self their and on offspring their [the] words of the fasts and cry of distress their.
Ordenando que se celebrará estos días de Purim en sus tiempos fijos, tal como lo había ordenado Mardoqueo Judío y Ester la reina, y de acuerdo con las reglas que ellos mismos habían establecido para ellos y su simiente, en conexión con su tiempo con ayuno y su clamor de ayuda.
32 And [the] command of Esther it confirmed [the] words of the Purim these and [it was] written in the book.
