Esther 9
1 And in two [plus] ten month that [is] [the] month of Adar on thir-teen day in it when it approached [the] word of the king and law his to be done on the day when they had hoped [the] enemies of the Jews to domineer over them and it was reversed it that they domineered the Jews they over [those who] hated them.
E no décimo segundo mês (que é o mês de Adar), no [dia] treze do mesmo, em que chegou o prazo para a palavra do rei se seu decreto serem executados, no mesmo dia em que os inimigos dos judeus esperavam vencê-los, sucedeu o contrário, porque foram os judeus que venceram aqueles que os odiavam.
2 They assembled the Jews in cities their in all [the] provinces of the king Ahasuerus to stretch out a hand on those seeking harm their and anyone not he stood before them for it had fallen dread of them on all the peoples.
Os judeus se ajuntaram em suas cidades em todas as províncias do rei Assuero, para atacarem os que procuravam lhes fazer mal; e ninguém pôde subsistir diante deles, porque o temor a eles tinha caído sobre todos os povos.
3 And all [the] officials of the provinces and the satraps and the governors and [the] doers of the work which [belonged] to the king [were] supporting the Jews for it had fallen [the] dread of Mordecai on them.
E todos os governadores das províncias, e os sátrapas, e os líderes, e os oficiais do rei, auxiliavam os judeus; porque o temor a Mardoqueu tinha caído sobre eles,
4 For [was] great Mordecai in [the] house of the king and [the] report of him [was] going in all the provinces for the man Mordecai [was] going and becoming great.
Porque Mardoqueu era grande na casa do rei, e sua fama ia por todas as províncias; pois o homem Mardoqueu havia se engrandecido.
5 And they struck down the Jews all enemies their a striking down of sword and slaughter and destruction and they did over [those who] hated them according to pleasure their.
Assim os judeus feriram a todos os seus inimigos com golpes de espada, matança, e destruição; e fizeram o que quiseram daqueles que os odiavam.
6 And in Susa the citadel they killed the Jews and they destroyed five hundred man.
E na fortaleza de Susã os judeus mataram e destruíram quinhentos homens,
7 And - Parshandatha and - Dalphon and - Aspatha.
Inclusive a Parsandata, Dalfom, Aspata,
8 And - Poratha and - Adalia and - Aridatha.
Porata, Adalia, Aridata,
9 And - Parmashta and - Arisai and - Aridai and - Vaizatha.
Farmasta, Arisai, Aridai, e a Vaisata,
10 [the] ten [the] sons of Haman [the] son of Hammedatha [the] opposer of the Jews they killed and on the plunder not they stretched out hand their.
Os dez filhos de Hamã filho de Hamedata, inimigo dos judeus; porém não puseram suas mãos no despojo.
11 On the day that it came [the] number of those killed in Susa the citadel before the king.
No mesmo dia veio diante do rei a contagem dos mortos na fortaleza de Susã.
12 And he said the king to Esther the queen in Susa the citadel they have killed the Jews and they have destroyed five hundred man and [the] ten [the] sons of Haman in [the] rest of [the] provinces of the king what? have they done and what? [is] petition your so it may be given to you and what? [is] request your more and it may be done.
E o rei disse à rainha Ester: Na fortaleza de Susã, os judeus mataram e destruíram a quinhentos homens, e aos dez filhos de Hamã; nas demais províncias do rei, o que teriam feito? Qual pois é tua petição, para que te seja concedida? Ou qual mais é teu pedido, para que te seja feito?
13 And she said Esther if [is] on the king good let it be permitted also tomorrow to the Jews who [are] in Susa to do according to [the] law of this day and [the] ten [the] sons of Haman let them hang on the gallows.
Então Ester disse: Se for do agrado do rei, conceda-se também amanhã aos judeus em Susã, que façam conforme a lei de hoje; e que enforquem na forca os dez filhos de Hamã.
14 And he said the king to be done thus and it was given [the] law in Susa and [the] ten [the] sons of Haman people hanged.
Então o rei disse que assim se fizesse; e deu-se a ordem em Susã, e enforcaram aos dez filhos de Hamã.
15 And they assembled (the Jews *Q(k)*) who [were] in Susa also on day four-teen of [the] month of Adar and they killed in Susa three hundred man and on the plunder not they stretched out hand their.
E os judeus que estavam em Susã se ajuntaram também no [dia] catorze do mês de Adar, e mataram trezentos homens em Susã; porém não puseram suas mãos no despojo.
16 And [the] remainder of the Jews who [were] in [the] provinces of the king they assembled - and they made a stand on life their and they had rest from enemies their and they killed among [those who] hated them five and seventy thousand and on the plunder not they stretched out hand their.
Também os demais judeus que estavam nas províncias do rei se ajuntaram e para se porem em defesa de sua vida, e terem repouso de seus inimigos; e mataram a setenta e cinco mil daqueles que os odiavam; porém não puseram suas mãos no despojo.
17 On day thir-teen of [the] month of Adar and they rested on [day] four-teen in it and they made it a day of feast and joy.
[Sucedeu isto] no [dia] treze do mês de Adar; e repousaram no [dia] catorze do mesmo, e fizeram dele um dia de banquetes e de alegria.
18 (And the Jews *Q(k)*) who [were] in Susa they assembled on [day] thir-teen in it and on [day] four-teen in it and they rested on [day] fif-teen in it and they made it a day of feast and joy.
Também os judeus que estavam em Susã se ajuntaram nos [dias] treze e catorze do mesmo mês; e no [dia] quinze do mesmo repousaram, e fizeram daquele dia um dia de banquetes e de alegria.
19 There-fore the Jews (the rural villagers *Q(k)*) who were dwelling in [the] cities of the open regions [are] observing day four-teen of [the] month Adar joy and a feast and a day good and [the] sending of portions each to neighbor his.
Por isso os judeus das aldeias, que habitavam nas cidades se muros, fizeram o [dia] catorze do mês de Adar um dia de alegria, de banquetes, e dia de festejo; e de mandarem presentes uns aos outros.
20 And he wrote Mordecai the words these and he sent out letters to all the Jews who [were] in all [the] provinces of the king Ahasuerus near and far.
E Mardoqueu escreveu estas coisas, e enviou cartas a todos os judeus que havia em todas as províncias do rei Assuero, próximos e distantes,
21 To impose on them to be observing day four-teen of [the] month Adar and day fif-teen in it in every year and year.
Ordenando-lhes que comemorassem o décimo quarto [dia] do mês de Adar, e o décimo quinto do mesmo, todos os anos.
22 As the days when they had rest on them the Jews from enemies their and the month when it was changed for them from sorrow into joy and from mourning into a day good to make them days of feast and joy and [the] sending of portions each to neighbor his and gifts to the needy [people].
Como os dias em que os judeus tiveram repouso de seus inimigos; e o mês que tornou para eles de tristeza em alegria, e de luto em dia de festejo; para que os fizessem dias de banquetes e de alegria, e de mandarem presentes uns aos outros, e de doações aos pobres.
23 And he accepted the Jews [that] which they had begun to do and [that] which he had written Mordecai to them.
E os judeus aceitaram fazer o que já tinham começado assim como o que Mardoqueu havia lhes escrito.
24 For Haman [the] son of Hammedatha the Agagite [the] opposer of all the Jews he had planned on the Jews to destroy them and he had cast Pur that [is] the lot to trouble them and to destroy them.
Porque Hamã filho de Hamedata, o agagita, inimigo de todos os judeus, tinha planejado destruir todos os judeus, e lançou Pur, isto é, sorte, para os oprimir e os destruir.
25 And when came it before the king he said with the letter let it return plan his evil which he had planned on the Jews on own head his and people will hang him and sons his on the gallows.
Mas quando isto veio diante do rei, ele deu ordem por cartas, que seu plano maligno, que tramara contra os judeus, tornasse sobre sua cabeça; assim enforcaram a ele e a seus filhos na forca.
26 There-fore people called the days these Purim on [the] name of the Pur there-fore on all [the] words of the letter this and whatever they had seen on thus and whatever it had happened to them.
Por isso aqueles dias foram chamados Purim, por causa do nome Pur. Portanto, por causa de todas as palavras daquela carta; e do que testemunharam quanto a isso, e do que veio sobre eles,
27 They imposed (and they accepted *Q(K)*) the Jews - on themselves - and on offspring their and on all who joined themselves to them and not it will pass away to be observing [the] two the days these according to writing their and according to appointed time their in every year and year.
Os judeus confirmaram e comprometeram a si mesmos e a seus descendentes, e a todos os que se fossem próximos deles, que não deixariam de comemorar estes dois dias conforme o que foi escrito deles, e conforme seu tempo determinado, todos os anos;
28 And the days these [were] remembered and observed in every generation and generation clan and clan province and province and city and city and [the] days of the Purim these not they will pass away from among the Jews and remembrance their not it will cease from offspring their.
E que estes dias seriam lembrados e comemorados em todas as gerações, famílias, províncias, e cidades; e que estes dias de Purim não seriam ignorados pelos judeus, e que sua lembrança nunca teria fim entre seus descendentes.
29 And she wrote Esther the queen [the] daughter of Abihail and Mordecai the Jew all authority to confirm [the] letter of the Purim this second.
Depois disto a rainha Ester, filha de Abiail, e o judeu Mardoqueu, escreveram com todo poder, para confirmarem pela segunda vez esta carta de Purim.
30 And he sent letters to all the Jews to seven and twenty and one hundred province[s] [the] kingdom of Ahasuerus words of peace and truth.
E foram enviadas cartas a todos os judeus, às cento e vinte e sete províncias do rei Assuero, com palavras de paz e de verdade,
31 To confirm [the] days of the Purim these at appointed times their just as he had imposed on them Mordecai the Jew and Esther the queen and just as they had imposed on self their and on offspring their [the] words of the fasts and cry of distress their.
Para confirmarem estes dias de Purim em seus tempos determinados, conforme o judeu Mardoqueu e a rainha Ester tinham lhes confirmado, e como eles mesmos já o confirmaram para si e para seus descendentes; acerca do jejum e de seu clamor.
32 And [the] command of Esther it confirmed [the] words of the Purim these and [it was] written in the book.
E o mandamento de Ester confirmou estas palavras dadas acerca de Purim, e escreveu-se em um livro.
