< Esther 9 >
1 And in two [plus] ten month that [is] [the] month of Adar on thir-teen day in it when it approached [the] word of the king and law his to be done on the day when they had hoped [the] enemies of the Jews to domineer over them and it was reversed it that they domineered the Jews they over [those who] hated them.
Le ɣleti wuievelia alo Ada ƒe ŋkeke wuietɔ̃lia dzi la, wowɔ ɖe se si fia la de la dzi. Le ŋkeke sia dzi la, Yudatɔwo ƒe futɔwo kpɔ mɔ be yewoaɖu wo dzi, gake azɔ la, nuwo trɔ bubui, eye Yudatɔwo ƒe alɔ yi dzi ɖe ame siwo lé fu wo la ŋu.
2 They assembled the Jews in cities their in all [the] provinces of the king Ahasuerus to stretch out a hand on those seeking harm their and anyone not he stood before them for it had fallen dread of them on all the peoples.
Yudatɔwo ƒo ƒu ɖe du vovovo siwo me wonɔ la me le nuto siwo katã nɔ Fia Ahasuerus ƒe dziɖuɖu te la me be woawɔ avu kple ame siwo katã nɔ woƒe gbegblẽ dim. Ame aɖeke mete ŋu nɔ te ɖe wo nu o, elabena ame siwo tso gbegbɔgblɔ bubuwo me la nɔ vɔvɔ̃m na wo.
3 And all [the] officials of the provinces and the satraps and the governors and [the] doers of the work which [belonged] to the king [were] supporting the Jews for it had fallen [the] dread of Mordecai on them.
Bubume siwo katã nɔ nutoawo me, dumegãwo, mɔmefiawo kple fia la ƒe dɔnunɔlawo kpe ɖe Yudatɔwo ŋu, elabena Mordekai ƒe ŋɔdzi lé wo katã.
4 For [was] great Mordecai in [the] house of the king and [the] report of him [was] going in all the provinces for the man Mordecai [was] going and becoming great.
Mordekai nye ame ŋkuta aɖe le fiasã la me, eƒe ŋkɔ ɖi de fiaɖuƒe la ƒe akpa sia akpa, eye eƒe ŋusẽ ganɔ dzi dem ɖe edzi ɣe sia ɣi.
5 And they struck down the Jews all enemies their a striking down of sword and slaughter and destruction and they did over [those who] hated them according to pleasure their.
Yudatɔwo ƒo woƒe futɔwo katã ƒu anyi, eye wowu wo kple yi hetsrɔ̃ wo. Ale wowɔ nu si dze wo ŋu la na woƒe futɔwo.
6 And in Susa the citadel they killed the Jews and they destroyed five hundred man.
Le Susa mɔ gã la me la, Yudatɔwo wu, eye wotsrɔ̃ ŋutsu alafa atɔ̃.
7 And - Parshandatha and - Dalphon and - Aspatha.
Wowu Parsandata, Dalfon, Aspata,
8 And - Poratha and - Adalia and - Aridatha.
Porata, Adalia, Aridata,
9 And - Parmashta and - Arisai and - Aridai and - Vaizatha.
Parmasta, Arisai, Aridai kple Vaizata,
10 [the] ten [the] sons of Haman [the] son of Hammedatha [the] opposer of the Jews they killed and on the plunder not they stretched out hand their.
ame siwo nye Hamedata ƒe viwo, Haman, Yudatɔwo ƒe futɔ la ƒe viŋutsu ewoawo, gake womeha woƒe afunyinu aɖeke o.
11 On the day that it came [the] number of those killed in Susa the citadel before the king.
Gbe ma gbe fiẽ la, wogblɔ ame siwo wowu le Susa mɔ gã la me ƒe xexlẽme na Fia Ahasuerus.
12 And he said the king to Esther the queen in Susa the citadel they have killed the Jews and they have destroyed five hundred man and [the] ten [the] sons of Haman in [the] rest of [the] provinces of the king what? have they done and what? [is] petition your so it may be given to you and what? [is] request your more and it may be done.
Fia la gblɔ na Fianyɔnu Ester be, “Yudatɔwo wu ame alafa atɔ̃ sɔŋ le Susa mɔ gã la me, ame siwo dome Haman ƒe viŋutsu ewoawo hã le. Ne miewɔ alea le afi sia la, mekpɔ nu si miewɔ le nye fiaɖuƒe la ƒe akpa bubuawo ɖa! Ke azɔ la, nu bubu ka dim nègale? Mawɔe na wò, gblɔe nam ko, ekema mawɔe.”
13 And she said Esther if [is] on the king good let it be permitted also tomorrow to the Jews who [are] in Susa to do according to [the] law of this day and [the] ten [the] sons of Haman let them hang on the gallows.

14 And he said the king to be done thus and it was given [the] law in Susa and [the] ten [the] sons of Haman people hanged.

15 And they assembled (the Jews *Q(k)*) who [were] in Susa also on day four-teen of [the] month of Adar and they killed in Susa three hundred man and on the plunder not they stretched out hand their.
Yudatɔ siwo nɔ Susa la ƒo ƒu le ɣleti wuievelia alo Ada ƒe ŋkeke wuienea gbe, eye wogawu ame alafa etɔ̃. Ke womeha ame kukuawo ƒe nuwo o.
16 And [the] remainder of the Jews who [were] in [the] provinces of the king they assembled - and they made a stand on life their and they had rest from enemies their and they killed among [those who] hated them five and seventy thousand and on the plunder not they stretched out hand their.
Le ɣeyiɣi sia me la, Yudatɔ siwo nɔ fiaɖuƒe la ƒe akpa bubuawo la ƒo ƒu, eye wotsrɔ̃ woƒe futɔwo katã. Wowu woƒe futɔ akpe blaadre-vɔ-atɔ̃, gake womeha woƒe nuwo o.
17 On day thir-teen of [the] month of Adar and they rested on [day] four-teen in it and they made it a day of feast and joy.
Wowɔ nu sia le nutoawo me le ɣleti wuievelia alo Ada ƒe ŋkeke wuietɔ̃lia dzi. Le ŋkeke wuienea gbe la, wodzudzɔ wo ɖokuiwo, eye wowɔe wònye nuɖuɖu kple nunono kpakple dzidzɔkpɔgbe.
18 (And the Jews *Q(k)*) who [were] in Susa they assembled on [day] thir-teen in it and on [day] four-teen in it and they rested on [day] fif-teen in it and they made it a day of feast and joy.
Ke Yudatɔ siwo nɔ Susa la ƒo ƒu le ɣleti la ƒe ŋkeke wuietɔ̃a kple wuienea gbe, eye wodzudzɔ wo ɖokuiwo le ŋkeke wuiatɔ̃a gbe hewɔe wònye nuɖuɖu kple nunono kpakple dzidzɔkpɔgbe.
19 There-fore the Jews (the rural villagers *Q(k)*) who were dwelling in [the] cities of the open regions [are] observing day four-teen of [the] month Adar joy and a feast and a day good and [the] sending of portions each to neighbor his.
Esia tae Yudatɔ siwo le kɔƒewo me la, ɖoa ŋku Ada alo ɣleti wuievelia ƒe ŋkeke wuienelia dzi heɖunɛ le dzidzɔkpɔkpɔ kple nuɖuɖu kple nunono me. Wonaa nunana wo nɔewo hã le ŋkeke ma dzi.
20 And he wrote Mordecai the words these and he sent out letters to all the Jews who [were] in all [the] provinces of the king Ahasuerus near and far.
Mordekai ŋlɔ nu tso nya siawo katã ŋuti, eye wòɖo agbalẽ la ɖe Yudatɔwo le kpuiƒe kple didiƒe siaa le Fia Ahasuerus ƒe fiaɖuƒe la me.
21 To impose on them to be observing day four-teen of [the] month Adar and day fif-teen in it in every year and year.
Edo ŋusẽ wo be woaɖu ŋkekenyui sia ƒe sia ƒe le ɣleti wuievelia, Ada ƒe ŋkeke wuienelia kple wuiatɔ̃lia dzi.
22 As the days when they had rest on them the Jews from enemies their and the month when it was changed for them from sorrow into joy and from mourning into a day good to make them days of feast and joy and [the] sending of portions each to neighbor his and gifts to the needy [people].
Woaɖu ŋkeke la abe ŋkeke si dzi woɖe Yudatɔwo tso woƒe futɔwo ƒe asi me ene, woagaɖui abe ɣleti si me woƒe vevesese trɔ zu dzidzɔkpɔkpɔ, eye woƒe konyifagbe zu aseyetsogbe la ene. Eŋlɔ na wo be woaɖu ŋkekeawo abe nuɖugbe, nunogbe kple dzidzɔkpɔgbe ene, woana nuɖuɖu wo nɔewo, eye woana nu ame dahewo hã.
23 And he accepted the Jews [that] which they had begun to do and [that] which he had written Mordecai to them.
Ale Yudatɔwo lɔ̃ heɖua ŋkeke la abe ale si wodze egɔmee ene ɖe nu si Mordekai ŋlɔ na wo la nu.
24 For Haman [the] son of Hammedatha the Agagite [the] opposer of all the Jews he had planned on the Jews to destroy them and he had cast Pur that [is] the lot to trouble them and to destroy them.
Hamedata ƒe vi, Haman, Agagitɔ, Yudatɔwo ƒe futɔ, ɖo nugbe ɖe Yudatɔwo ŋu be yeatsrɔ̃ wo, eye woka nu kple pur be yeagblẽ wo dome, atsrɔ̃ wo,
25 And when came it before the king he said with the letter let it return plan his evil which he had planned on the Jews on own head his and people will hang him and sons his on the gallows.
gake esi nugbeɖoɖo la dze go to Ester dzi na fia la, ena woŋlɔ agbalẽ, ɖe gbe be nu vɔ̃ɖi si Haman ɖo ɖe Yudatɔwo ŋu la, neva eya ŋutɔ ƒe ta dzi, eye be eya kple viawo la, woade ka ve na wo,
26 There-fore people called the days these Purim on [the] name of the Pur there-fore on all [the] words of the letter this and whatever they had seen on thus and whatever it had happened to them.
eya ta wona ŋkɔ ŋkekenyui sia be Purim, elabena woyɔa nukaka le Persiagbe me be pur. Le nu sia nu si woŋlɔ ɖe agbalẽ sia me kple nu si wokpɔ kple nu si va dzɔ ɖe wo dzi ta la,
27 They imposed (and they accepted *Q(K)*) the Jews - on themselves - and on offspring their and on all who joined themselves to them and not it will pass away to be observing [the] two the days these according to writing their and according to appointed time their in every year and year.
Yudatɔ siwo katã nɔ fiaɖuƒe la me la lɔ̃ ɖe edzi be yewoadze kɔnu sia wɔwɔ gɔme, eye yewoatsɔe ade asi na yewoƒe dzidzimeviwo kple ame siwo katã azu Yudatɔwo. Woɖo be yewomagbe ŋkekenyui sia ɖuɖu le ŋkeke eve siawo dzi le ɣeyiɣi ɖoɖo la dzi ƒe sia ƒe o.
28 And the days these [were] remembered and observed in every generation and generation clan and clan province and province and city and city and [the] days of the Purim these not they will pass away from among the Jews and remembrance their not it will cease from offspring their.
Woɖo be wòanye nu si woawɔ ƒe sia ƒe, tso dzidzime yi dzidzime, woaɖui le ƒome ɖe sia ɖe me, le kɔƒewo kple du gãwo siaa me le fiaɖuƒe la me, ale be ŋkuɖoɖo nya si dzɔ dzi la mabu le Yudatɔwo dome alo le woƒe dzidzimeviwo dome o.
29 And she wrote Esther the queen [the] daughter of Abihail and Mordecai the Jew all authority to confirm [the] letter of the Purim this second.
Fianyɔnu Ester, Abihail ƒe vi hã ŋlɔ agbalẽ helɔ̃ ɖe agbalẽ si Mordekai ŋlɔ tso Purim ŋuti la dzi.
30 And he sent letters to all the Jews to seven and twenty and one hundred province[s] [the] kingdom of Ahasuerus words of peace and truth.
Kpe ɖe esia ŋu la, wogaŋlɔ agbalẽ na Yudatɔwo katã, eye woɖoe ɖe nuto alafa ɖeka kple blaeve-vɔ-adreawo katã me le Fia Ahasuerus ƒe fiaɖuƒe la me, hedi nyui kple ŋutifafa na ame sia ame.
31 To confirm [the] days of the Purim these at appointed times their just as he had imposed on them Mordecai the Jew and Esther the queen and just as they had imposed on self their and on offspring their [the] words of the fasts and cry of distress their.
Wodi tomefafa kple dedinɔnɔ na wo, eye woɖo na wo kple woƒe dzidzimeviwo be woaɖu Purim ŋkekenyui la le eɖuɣi tututu abe ale si wowɔa se siwo ku ɖe nutsitsidɔ kple konyifaɣiwo ŋu la dzi ene. Mordekai kple Fianyɔnu Ester siaae de se sia.
32 And [the] command of Esther it confirmed [the] words of the Purim these and [it was] written in the book.
