Esther 7
1 And he went the king and Haman to drink with Esther the queen.
Maka untuk kedua kalinya raja dan Haman makan minum bersama-sama dengan Ester.
2 And he said the king to Esther also on the day second at [the] feast of wine what? [is] petition your O Esther the queen so it may be given to you and what? [is] request your up to half of the kingdom and it may be done.
Sambil minum anggur, raja bertanya lagi kepada Ester, "Nah, Permaisuriku, apa yang kauinginkan? Katakanlah! Pasti akan kuberikan meskipun kauminta setengah dari kerajaanku."
3 And she answered Esther the queen and she said if I have found favor in view your O king and if [is] on the king good let it be given to me life my for petition my and people my for request my.
Jawab Ratu Ester, "Kalau Baginda berkenan, hamba mohon supaya hamba dan bangsa hamba boleh hidup.
4 For we have been sold I and people my to annihilate to kill and to destroy and if to male slaves and to female slaves we had been sold I kept quiet for not the distress [is] equal for [the] injury of the king.
Sebab hamba dan bangsa hamba telah dijual untuk dibunuh. Andaikata kami hanya dijual untuk dijadikan budak, hamba akan berdiam diri dan tidak mengganggu Baginda. Tetapi kini kami akan dibinasakan dan dimusnahkan!"
5 And he said the king Ahasuerus and he said to Esther the queen who? [is] he this and where? this [is] he whom it has filled him heart his to do thus.
Lalu bertanyalah Raja Ahasyweros kepada Ratu Ester, "Siapa yang berani berbuat begitu? Di mana orangnya?"
6 And she said Esther a man an opponent and an enemy Haman evil this and Haman he was terrified from to before the king and the queen.
Ester menjawab, "Haman yang jahat inilah musuh dan penganiaya kami!" Dengan sangat ketakutan Haman memandang raja dan ratu.
7 And the king he rose up in rage his from [the] feast of wine into [the] garden of the palace and Haman he remained to seek on life his from Esther the queen for he saw that it was determined against him harm from with the king.
Raja marah sekali, lalu bangkit meninggalkan meja dan langsung ke luar, ke taman istana. Haman tahu bahwa raja telah mengambil keputusan untuk menghukumnya, sebab itu ia tetap tinggal dengan Ratu Ester untuk memohon supaya diselamatkan.
8 And the king he returned from [the] garden of the palace to [the] house of - [the] feast of wine and Haman [was] falling on the couch which Esther [was] on it and he said the king ¿ also to violate the queen with me in the house the word it came out from [the] mouth of the king and [the] face of Haman people covered.
Dengan putus asa Haman menjatuhkan dirinya ke atas dipan Ester untuk mohon ampun, tetapi tepat pada saat itu juga raja kembali dari taman istana. Melihat Haman begitu, raja berseru, "Apa? Masih juga ia berani memperkosa ratu di sini, di hadapanku dan di istanaku sendiri?" Segera setelah kata-kata itu diucapkan raja, para pejabat datang dan menyelubungi kepala Haman.
9 And he said Harbona one of the eunuchs before the king also there! the gallows which he has made Haman for Mordecai who he spoke good on the king [is] standing at [the] house of Haman high fifty cubit[s] and he said the king hang him on it.
Lalu kata Harbona, seorang dari pejabat-pejabat itu, "Baginda, di dekat rumah Haman ada tiang gantungan setinggi dua puluh dua meter. Haman telah mendirikannya untuk menggantung Mordekhai, orang yang telah menyelamatkan nyawa Baginda." Lalu perintah raja, "Gantunglah Haman pada tiang itu!"
10 And they hanged Haman on the gallows which he had prepared for Mordecai and [the] rage of the king it subsided.
Demikianlah Haman digantung pada tiang yang telah didirikannya untuk Mordekhai. Baru setelah itu redalah murka raja.
