Esther 5
1 And it was - on the day third and she put on Esther royalty and she stood in [the] court of [the] house of the king inner before [the] house of the king and the king [was] sitting on [the] throne of royalty his in [the] house of royalty before [the] entrance of the house.
Sucedeu pois que ao terceiro dia Esther se vestiu de seus vestidos reais, e se pôs no pátio interior da casa do rei, defronte do aposento do rei: e o rei estava assentado sobre o seu trono real, na casa real defronte da porta do aposento.
2 And it was when saw the king Esther the queen standing in the court she bore favor in view his and he extended the king to Esther [the] scepter of gold which [was] in hand his and she drew near Esther and she touched [the] top of the scepter.
E sucedeu que, vendo o rei a rainha Esther, que estava no pátio, alcançou graça aos seus olhos, que o rei apontou para Esther com o cetro de ouro, que tinha na sua mão, e Esther chegou, e tocou a ponta do cetro.
3 And he said to her the king what? [is] to you O Esther the queen and what? [is] request your up to half of the kingdom so it may be given to you.
Então o rei lhe disse: Que e o que tens, rainha Esther? ou qual é a tua petição? até metade do reino se te dará
4 And she said Esther if [is] on the king good let him come the king and Haman this day to the feast which I have made for him.
E disse Esther: Se bem parecer ao rei, venha o rei e Haman hoje ao convite que lhe tenho preparado.
5 And he said the king bring quickly Haman to do [the] word of Esther and he came the king and Haman to the feast which she had made Esther.
Então disse o rei: Fazei apressar a Haman, que faça o mandado de Esther. Vindo pois o rei e Haman ao banquete, que Esther tinha preparado,
6 And he said the king to Esther at [the] feast of wine what? [is] petition your sp it may be given to you and what? [is] request your up to half of the kingdom and it may be done.
Disse o rei a Esther, no banquete do vinho: Qual é a tua petição? e se te dará: e qual é o teu requerimento? e se fará ainda até metade do reino.
7 And she answered Esther and she said petition my and request my.
Então respondeu Esther, e disse: Minha petição e requerimento é:
8 If I have found favor in [the] eyes of the king and if [is] on the king good to grant petition my and to do request my let him come the king and Haman to the feast which I will make for them and tomorrow I will do according to [the] word of the king.
Se achei graça aos olhos do rei, e se bem parecer ao rei conceder-me a minha petição, e outorgar-me o meu requerimento, venha o rei com Haman ao banquete que lhes hei de preparar, e amanhã farei conforme ao mandado do rei.
9 And he went out Haman on the day that joyful and good of heart and just as saw Haman Mordecai at [the] gate of the king and not he stood up and not he trembled from him and he was filled Haman towards Mordecai rage.
Então saiu Haman naquele dia alegre e de bom ânimo: porém, vendo Haman a mardoqueu à porta do rei, e que não se levantara nem se movera por ele, então Haman se encheu de furor contra mardoqueu.
10 And he restrained himself Haman and he went to house his and he sent and he gathered friends his and Zeresh wife his.
Haman porém se refreou, e veio à sua casa: e enviou, e mandou vir os seus amigos, e a Zeres sua mulher.
11 And he recounted to them Haman [about] [the] splendor of wealth his and [the] multitude of sons his and [about] all that he had made great him the king and this: he had exalted him above the officials and [the] servants of the king.
E contou-lhes Haman a glória das suas riquezas e a multidão de seus filhos, e tudo em que o rei o tinha engrandecido, e o em que o tinha exaltado sobre os príncipes e servos do rei.
12 And he said Haman also not she let come [anyone] Esther the queen with the king to the feast which she had prepared that except me and also for tomorrow I [am] invited by her with the king.
Disse mais Haman: Tão pouco a rainha Esther a ninguém fez vir com o rei ao banquete que tinha preparado, senão a mim: e também para amanhã estou convidado por ela juntamente com o rei
13 And all this not it [is] adequate for me at any time when I [am] seeing Mordecai the Jew sitting at [the] gate of the king.
Porém tudo isto me não satisfaz, enquanto vir o judeu mardoqueu assentado à porta do rei.
14 And she said to him Zeresh wife his and all friends his let people make a gallows high fifty cubit[s] and in the morning - speak to the king so people may hang Mordecai on it and go with the king to the feast joyful and it was good the word before Haman and he made the gallows.
Então lhe disse Zeres, sua mulher, e todos os seus amigos: Faça-se uma forca de cincoênta côvados de altura, e amanhã dize ao rei que enforquem nela mardoqueu, e então entra com o rei alegre ao convite. E este conselho bem pareceu a Haman, e mandou fazer a forca.
