< Esther 5 >

1 And it was - on the day third and she put on Esther royalty and she stood in [the] court of [the] house of the king inner before [the] house of the king and the king [was] sitting on [the] throne of royalty his in [the] house of royalty before [the] entrance of the house.

2 And it was when saw the king Esther the queen standing in the court she bore favor in view his and he extended the king to Esther [the] scepter of gold which [was] in hand his and she drew near Esther and she touched [the] top of the scepter.

3 And he said to her the king what? [is] to you O Esther the queen and what? [is] request your up to half of the kingdom so it may be given to you.
Te phoeiah anih te manghai loh, “Esther manghainu nang te ba dae lae? Na kueknah te ram rhakthuem hil pataeng nang taengah m'paek bitni,” a ti nah.
4 And she said Esther if [is] on the king good let him come the king and Haman this day to the feast which I have made for him.
Te vaengah Esther loh, “Manghai taengah a then mai atah, tihnin ah anih ham ka saii pah buhkoknah te manghai neh Haman ham paan rhoi dae,” a ti nah.
5 And he said the king bring quickly Haman to do [the] word of Esther and he came the king and Haman to the feast which she had made Esther.
Te dongah Esther ol te ngai hamla saii ham manghai loh Haman taengah a thui paitok. Te phoeiah manghai neh Haman loh Esther kah a saii buhkoknah te a paan.
6 And he said the king to Esther at [the] feast of wine what? [is] petition your sp it may be given to you and what? [is] request your up to half of the kingdom and it may be done.
Misurtui neh buhkoknah a om vaengah manghai loh Esther te, “Nang ham te mebang huithuinah nim nang taengah m'paek eh? Na kueknah te ram rhakthuem hil pataeng han suem bitni,” a ti nah.
7 And she answered Esther and she said petition my and request my.
Te vaengah Esther loh, “Kai ham huithuinah neh ka kueknah tah,
8 If I have found favor in [the] eyes of the king and if [is] on the king good to grant petition my and to do request my let him come the king and Haman to the feast which I will make for them and tomorrow I will do according to [the] word of the king.
Manghai mik ah mikdaithen ka hmuh atah, kai taengah huithuinah paek ham neh ka kueknah te roirhi ham khaw manghai ham ni a then mak atah manghai neh Haman buhkoknah te ham paan saeh. Te te amih rhoi ham ka saii vetih thangvuen ah manghai ol bangla ka ngai bitni,” a ti nah.
9 And he went out Haman on the day that joyful and good of heart and just as saw Haman Mordecai at [the] gate of the king and not he stood up and not he trembled from him and he was filled Haman towards Mordecai rage.
Te khohnin ah Haman tah kohoe neh lungbuei then la vuenva. Tedae Haman loh Mordekai te manghai vongka ah a hmuh hatah thoh pah pawt tih a taengah tonga pawh. Te dongah Haman loh Mordekai te kosi a hong thil.
10 And he restrained himself Haman and he went to house his and he sent and he gathered friends his and Zeresh wife his.
Tedae Haman te thiim uh tih amah im la pawk. Te phoeiah hlang a tueih tih a lungnah rhoek neh a yuu Zeresh te a khue.
11 And he recounted to them Haman [about] [the] splendor of wealth his and [the] multitude of sons his and [about] all that he had made great him the king and this: he had exalted him above the officials and [the] servants of the king.
Haman loh amih taengah a khuehtawn thangpomnah khaw, amah koca a cungkuem khaw, manghai loh a pomsang boeih te khaw, amah te mangpa rhoek neh manghai kah sal lakah a ludoeng te a tae.
12 And he said Haman also not she let come [anyone] Esther the queen with the king to the feast which she had prepared that except me and also for tomorrow I [am] invited by her with the king.
Te phoeiah Haman loh, “Esther manghainu loh, manghai neh buhkoknah a saii te a tloe khue pawh, kai bueng ni dawk n'khue. Thangvuen ham khaw, kai he amah loh manghai neh n'khue pueng.
13 And all this not it [is] adequate for me at any time when I [am] seeing Mordecai the Jew sitting at [the] gate of the king.
Tedae te boeih he kai neh a tluk moenih. Hnin takuem ah manghai vongka kah aka ngol Judah Mordekai te vawk ka hmuh,” a ti nah.
14 And she said to him Zeresh wife his and all friends his let people make a gallows high fifty cubit[s] and in the morning - speak to the king so people may hang Mordecai on it and go with the king to the feast joyful and it was good the word before Haman and he made the gallows.
Te dongah anih te a yuu Zeresh neh a lungnah boeih loh, “Thing dong sawmnga a sang saii uh saeh lamtah mincang ah manghai te dawt. Te phoeiah Mordekai te a soah kuiok sak uh saeh. Te vaengah buhkoknah te manghai neh kohoe la paan,” a ti nah. Ol te Haman mikhmuh ah tah a voelphoeng pah tih thing te a saii.
