1 And he put the king (Ahasuerus *Q(K)*) a tax on the land and [the] islands of the sea.

Woŋlɔ Fia Ahasuerus ƒe nu gã siwo wòwɔ kple Mordekai ƒe gãnyenye kple bubu siwo fia la de eŋu la ɖe Media fiawo kple Persia fiawo ƒe Ŋutinyagbalẽ me.
3 For - Mordecai the Jew [was] second to the king Ahasuerus and [was] great to the Jews and was acceptable to [the] multitude of brothers his seeking good for people his and speaking peace to all offspring his.
Mordekai, Yudatɔ la nye amegã si kplɔ Fia Ahasuerus ɖo. Exɔ ŋkɔ le Yudatɔwo dome. Wo katã wobunɛ, elabena ewɔ nu si wòate ŋui la na Yudatɔwo ƒe nyonyo kple woƒe dzidzimeviwo ƒe dedinɔnɔ.
