Esther 10

1 And he put the king (Ahasuerus *Q(K)*) a tax on the land and [the] islands of the sea.

রাজা অহশ্বেরশ তাঁর গোটা রাজ্যে ও দূরের দ্বীপগুলিতে কর বসালেন।

2 And all [the] achievement of power his and might his and [the] full account of [the] greatness of Mordecai whom he had made great him the king ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] words of the days of [the] kings of Media and Persia.

তাঁর ক্ষমতা ও শক্তির সব কথা এবং মর্দখয়কে রাজা যেভাবে উঁচু পদ দিয়ে মহান করেছিলেন সেই কথা মাদিয়া ও পারস্যের রাজাদের ইতিহাস বইতে কি লেখা নেই?

3 For - Mordecai the Jew [was] second to the king Ahasuerus and [was] great to the Jews and was acceptable to [the] multitude of brothers his seeking good for people his and speaking peace to all offspring his.

রাজা অহশ্বেরশের পরে মর্দখয়ের স্থান ছিল দ্বিতীয়, ইহুদিদের মধ্যে সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ এবং সমস্ত ইহুদিরা তাঁকে উচ্চ সম্মান দেখাত, কারণ তিনি তাঁর লোকদের মঙ্গলের জন্য কাজ করেছিলেন এবং সকল ইহুদিদের কল্যাণের কথা বলতেন।
