Ephesians 6
1 you who [are] Children, do obey the parents of you in [the] Lord; this for is right.
Otroci, bodite poslušni roditeljem svojim v Gospodu, ker to je pravično.
2 do honor the Father of you and mother, which is [the] commandment first with a promise,
"Spoštuj očeta svojega in mater," ta je zapoved prva z obljubo:
3 that well with you it may be and you will be long-lived upon the earth.
"Da se ti bode dobro godilo in bodeš dolgo živel na zemlji."
4 And you who [are] fathers, not do provoke the children of you, but do bring up them in [the] discipline and admonition of [the] Lord.
In očetje, ne dražite svojih otrók, nego vzrejajte jih v nauku in strahu Gospodovem.
5 you who [are] slaves, do obey the according to flesh masters with fear and trembling in sincerity of the heart of you as to Christ.
Hlapci, bodite poslušni gospodom po mesu, sè strahom in trepetom, v preprostoti srca svojega, kakor Kristusu;
6 not with eye-service as men-pleasers but as servants of (*k*) Christ doing the will of God from [the] heart
Ne po okoslužnosti kakor ljudém ugajajoč, nego kakor hlapci Kristusovi, delajoč voljo Božjo iz duše,
7 with good will rendering service as to the Lord and not to men,
Z dobrovoljnostjo, služeč Gospodu, in ne ljudém,
8 knowing that each one (what *ko*) (maybe *NK(o)*) whatever he shall do good this he will receive [back] from (the *k*) Lord whether slave or free.
Vedoč, da kar kdo storí dobrega, to bode dobil od Gospoda, bodi si hlapec, ali svobodnjak.
9 And you who [are] masters, the [same things] them do perform toward them giving up the threatening, knowing that (also *no*) of them and of you the master is in [the] heavens and partiality not there is with Him.
In gospodje, delajte isto z njimi, odjenjajoč s pretenjem, vedóč, da tudi vaš gospod je v nebesih, in da licegledja ni pri njem.
10 (Henceforth *N(k)O*) (brothers of mine *K*) do be empowered in [the] Lord and in the strength of the might of Him.
V ostalem, bratje moji, ojačite se v Gospodu, in v kreposti moči njegove.
11 do put on the complete armor of God for to be able you to stand against the schemes of the devil;
Odenite se z orožjem Božjim, da bodete mogli stati zoper zvijače hudičeve.
12 because not is to us the wrestling against blood and flesh but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of the darkness (*k*) (age *K*) this, against the spiritual [forces] of evil in the heavenly realms. (aiōn g165)
Ker boj nam ni zoper kri in meso, nego zoper poglavarstva, zoper oblasti, zoper svétovne mogočnike temé tega svetá, zoper duhove hudobe v nebesih. (aiōn g165)
13 Because of this do take up the complete armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand in the day evil and all things having done to stand.
Za to primite orožje Božje, da bodete mogli ustavljati se o hudem dnevi in stati vse premagavši.
14 do stand therefore having girded the loins of you with truth and having put on the breastplate of righteousness
Stojte torej, bedro svoje opasavši si z resnico, in oblečeni s pravice oklepom,
15 and having shod the feet with [the] readiness of the gospel of peace;
In noge obute s pripravljenostjo evangelja mirú;
16 (besides *N(k)O*) all having taken up the shield of faith with which you will be able all the arrows of the evil one which enflamed to quench;
Razen tega zgrabivši ščit vere, s katerim bodete mogli ugasiti vse goreče strele hudobnega.
17 And the helmet of salvation (do take *NK(O)*) and the sword of the Spirit which is declaration of God;
In vzemite šlem blaginje, in meč Duhá, kateri je beseda Božja;
18 through all [times] prayer and supplication praying in every season in [the] Spirit and unto (this *k*) watching with all perseverance and with supplication for all saints
In sè sleherno molitvijo in prošnjo molite vsak čas v Duhu, in prav za to čujte v vsej stanovitnosti in prošnji za vse svete,
19 and also for me, that to me (may be given *N(k)O*) divine utterance in [the] opening of the mouth of mine with boldness to make known the mystery of the gospel,
In zame, da se mi dá beseda v odpiranji ust mojih, da s prostodušnostjo oznanjam skrivnost evangelja,
20 for which I am an ambassador in a chain, that in it I may be bold as it behooves me to speak.
Za katero sem poslanec v sponah, da v njem prostodušno govorim, kakor mi je besedovati.
21 That now may know also you yourselves the [things] concerning me myself, what I am doing, all things will make known to you Tychicus the beloved brother and faithful servant in [the] Lord,
Da pa veste tudi vi, kar mene zadeva, kako se mi zdi, naznanil vam bode vse Tihik, brat ljubljeni in zvesti služabnik v Gospodu,
22 whom I have sent to you for this very purpose that you may know the [things] concerning us, and he may encourage the hearts of you.
Katerega sem poslal k vam prav za to, da veste, kako je z nami, in da potolaži srca vaša.
23 Peace to the brothers and love with faith from God [the] Father and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.
Mir bratom in ljubezen z vero od Boga očeta in Gospoda Jezusa Kristusa.
24 Grace [be] with all those loving the Lord of us Jesus Christ in incorruptibility (Amen. to Ephesian it was written from Rome through Tychicus. *K*)
Milost z vsemi, ki ljubijo Gospoda našega Jezusa Kristusa v nepopačenosti. Amen. Efežanom pisal z Rima po Tihiku.
