< Ecclesiastes 9 >
1 For all this I have given to heart my and to make clear all this that the righteous and the wise and deeds their [are] in [the] hand of God both love as well as hatred not [is] knowing humankind everything [is] before them.
Nokudaro ndakafunga pamusoro pezvose izvi uye ndikapedzisira nokuti vakarurama navakachenjera, nezvavanoita zviri mumaoko aMwari, asi hakuna munhu anoziva kuti rudo here kana ruvengo zvakamumirira.
2 All [is] just as for all fate one [belongs] to the righteous and to the wicked to the good (and to the evil *X*) and to the clean and to the unclean and to the [one who] sacrifices and to [one] who not he [is] sacrificing as the good [person] as the sinner the [one who] swears an oath just as an oath [one] fearing.
Vose vane mugumo wakafanana, akarurama neakaipa, akanaka nomutadzi, akachena neakasviba, avo vanobayira zvibayiro neavo vasingabayiri. Sezvazvakaita nomunhu akanaka, ndizvozvowo nomutadzi; sezvazvakaita neavo vanoita mhiko, ndizvozvowo neavo vanotya kuita mhiko.
3 This - [is] an evil in all that it is done under the sun for fate one [belongs] to everyone and also [the] heart of [the] children of humankind [is] full evil and madness [is] in heart their in lives their and after it to the dead.
Ichi ndicho chinhu chakaipa pane zvose zvinoitika pasi pezuva: Vose vane mugumo mumwe chete. Pamusoro pezvo, mwoyo yavanhu izere nezvakaipa uye mumwoyo yavo mune upenzi panguva yokurarama kwavo, uye shure kwaizvozvo vanobatana navakafa.
4 For who? [is [the] one] who (he is united *Q(K)*) to all the living there [is] hope for to a dog living it [is] good more than the lion dead.
Ani naani ari pakati pavapenyu ane tariro; kunyange imbwa mhenyu iri nani kupfuura shumba yakafa!
5 For the living [are] knowing that they will die and the dead not they [are] knowing anything and not still [belongs] to them a reward for it is forgotten memory their.
Nokuti vapenyu vanoziva kuti vachafa, asi vakafa havana chavanoziva; havachinazve mumwe mubayiro, uye nokurangarirwa kwavo kwakanganikwa.
6 Both love their as well as hatred their as well as envy their already it has perished and a portion not [belongs] to them again for ever in all that it is done under the sun.
Rudo rwavo, ruvengo rwavo negodo zvakanguri zvapera kare; havachazovizve nechikamu, pane zvose zvinoitika pasi pezuva.
7 Go eat with gladness food your and drink with a heart good wine your for already he has taken pleasure in God deeds your.
Enda, undodya zvokudya zvako nomufaro, unwe waini nomwoyo wakafara, nokuti iye zvino Mwari ndipo paari kufadzwa namabasa ako.
8 At every time let them be clothes your white and oil on head your may not it be lacking.
Nguva dzose upfeke nguo chena, uye ugare wakazodza musoro wako namafuta.
9 See life with a wife whom you love all [the] days of [the] life of futility your which he has given to you under the sun all [the] days of futility your for that [is] portion your in life and in toil your which you [are] a laborer under the sun.
Fadzwa noupenyu hwako nomukadzi wako waunoda, mazuva ose oupenyu huno husina maturo Mwari hwaakakupa pasi pezuva, mazuva ose asina maturo. Nokuti uyu ndiwo mugove wako muupenyu uye mukushanda kwako nesimba pasi pezuva.
10 All that it finds hand your to do with strength your do for there not [is] work and explanation and knowledge and wisdom in Sheol where you [are] going there towards. (Sheol )
Zvose zvinowanikwa noruoko rwako kuti ruzviite, zviite nesimba rako rose, nokuti muguva, mauri kuenda, hamuna kushanda kana kuronga, kana ruzivo kana uchenjeri. (Sheol )
11 I returned and I saw under the sun that not [belongs] to the swift the race and not [belongs] to the mighty [men] the battle and also not [belongs] to wise [people] food and also not [belongs] to the understanding wealth and also not [belongs] to the knowledgeable favor for time and chance it happens to all of them.
Ndakaona chimwe chinhuzve pasi pezuva: Anomhanyisa haasi iye anokunda uye ane simba haasi iye anokunda pakurwa, uye akachenjera haasi iye ane zvokudya, uye vane njere havasi ivo vane pfuma, uye vakadzidza havasi ivo vanodiwa navanhu; asi vose vanowirwa nenguva nezvinoitika.
12 For also not he knows humankind time his like fish that [are] caught in a net evil and like birds that are caught in snare like them [are] ensnared [the] children of humankind to a time evil when that falls on them suddenly.
Pamusoro pezvo hakuna munhu anoziva nguva yake painosvika: Sehove dzinobatwa murutava rwakaipa, kana shiri dzinobatwa murugombe, saizvozvowo vanhu vanobatwa nenguva dzakaipa dzinovawira vasingatarisire.
13 Also this I have seen wisdom under the sun and [was] great it to me.
Ndakaonazve pasi pezuva muenzaniso uyu wouchenjeri wakandifadza zvikuru:
14 A city small and men in it [were] few and he came against it a king great and he surrounded it and he built on it siege works great.
Kwakanga kune guta duku, raiva navanhu vashoma mariri. Mumwe mambo ane simba akarimukira, akarikomba, akarivakira masvingo makuru okurirwisa.
15 And someone found in it a man poor wise and he delivered he the city by wisdom his and anyone not he remembered the man poor (that. *L(abh)*)
Zvino muguta umu maigara mumwe murume akanga ari murombo asi akachenjera, uye akaponesa guta iri nouchenjeri hwake. Asi hakuna munhu akarangarira murombo uya.
16 And I said I [is] good wisdom more than strength and [the] wisdom of the poor [person] [is] despised and words his not they [are] listened to.
Saka ndakati, “Uchenjeri hunopfuura simba.” Asi uchenjeri hwomurombo hunoshorwa uye mashoko ake haangateererwi.
17 [the] words of Wise [people] in quietness [are] heard more than [the] cry of a ruler among fools.
Mashoko manyoro omuchenjeri anoteererwa kupfuura kudanidzira kwomunhu anobata ushe pakati pamapenzi.
18 [is] good Wisdom more than weapons of war and a sinner one he will destroy good much.
Uchenjeri hunopfuura zvombo zvehondo, asi mutadzi mumwe anoparadza zvakanaka zvizhinji.
