Ecclesiastes 8
1 Who? [is] like the wise [person] and who? [is] knowing [the] interpretation of a matter [the] wisdom of anyone it makes shine face his and [the] strength of face his it is changed.
Nũũ ũtariĩ ta mũndũ ũrĩa mũũgĩ? Ningĩ nũũ ũngĩmenya gũtaũra maũndũ? Ũũgĩ nĩguo ũtũmaga ũthiũ wa mũndũ ũkenge, na ũgatũma gũthita gĩthiithi gwake kũgarũrũke.
2 I [the] mouth of a king keep and on [the] cause of [the] oath of God.
Nguga atĩrĩ, athĩkagĩra rĩathani rĩa mũthamaki, nĩ ũndũ nĩwehĩtire ũrĩ mbere ya Ngai.
3 May not you be hasty from before him you will go may not you stand in a matter evil for all that he will desire he will do.
Ndũkahiũhage kwehera harĩ mũthamaki. Ndũgekage ũndũ mũũru, nĩgũkorwo we ekaga ũndũ ũrĩa ũngĩmũkenia.
4 In that a word of a king [is] mastery and who? will he say to him what? are you doing.
Na tondũ uuge wa mũthamaki ũrĩ hinya-rĩ, nũũ ũngĩhota kũmũũria kĩũria atĩrĩ, “Nĩ atĩa ũreka?”
5 [one who] keeps A command not he will know a thing evil and an appropriate time and custom it will know a heart wise.
Mũndũ ũrĩa wothe wathĩkagĩra watho wake ndakoona ũũru, nayo ngoro ya mũndũ mũũgĩ ĩkũũranaga gwathĩkĩra mũthamaki ihinda rĩrĩa rĩagĩrĩire, ningĩ na njĩra ĩrĩa yagĩrĩire.
6 For for every matter there [is] an appropriate time and a custom for [the] trouble of humankind [is] great on him.
Nĩgũkorwo ũndũ o wothe nĩ ũrĩ ihinda rĩrĩa rĩagĩrĩire, na njĩra ĩrĩa yagĩrĩire ya kũwĩka, o na gũtuĩka thĩĩna wa mũndũ nĩũmũritũhagĩra mũno.
7 For not he [is] knowing what? that will it be that just as it will be who? will he tell to him.
Tondũ gũtirĩ mũndũ ũngĩmenya maũndũ marĩa makaamũkora-rĩ, nũũ ũngĩmwĩra maũndũ marĩa magooka?
8 There not [is] anyone having mastery over the wind to restrain the wind and there not [is] mastery over [the] day of death and there not [is] discharge in the battle and not it will rescue wickedness owners its.
Gũtirĩ mũndũ ũngĩhota gwatha rũhuho agirie rũhurutane; ũguo noguo gũtarĩ mũndũ ũngĩhota kũgirĩrĩria mũthenya wake wa gũkua. O ta ũrĩa gũtarĩ mũndũ ũheagwo rũũtha hĩndĩ ya mbaara, ũguo noguo waganu ũtangĩhonokia mũndũ ũrĩa ũwĩkaga.
9 All this I have seen and I have given heart my to every deed which it is done under the sun a time when he domineers person over a person for evil of him.
Maũndũ macio mothe nĩndamoonire, o ndĩĩrutanĩirie kũmenya ũhoro wa maũndũ marĩa mothe mekagwo gũkũ thĩ kwaraga riũa. Nĩ kũrĩ hĩndĩ mũndũ agĩĩaga na ũhoti wa gwathaga andũ arĩa angĩ, nake agethũkia we mwene.
10 And in such I have seen wicked [people] being buried and they came and from a place of holy they went and they may be forgotten in the city where right they had done also this [is] futility.
O na ningĩ ngĩona andũ arĩa aaganu magĩthikwo, o acio maathiiaga na makoima handũ-harĩa-haamũre, nao magakumagio kũu itũũra-inĩ inene kũrĩa meekagĩra maũndũ macio. Ũndũ ũyũ o naguo no wa tũhũ.
11 That not it is done [the] sentence of [the] deed of the evil quickly there-fore it is full [the] heart of [the] children of humankind in them to do evil.
Rĩrĩa gwĩka ũũru kwaga kũherithio narua-rĩ, ngoro cia andũ ikĩragĩrĩria gũthugunda gwĩka ũũru.
12 That a sinner [is] doing evil a hundred [times] and [he is] prolonging for himself for also [am] knowing I that it will belong good to [those] fearing God that they fear from to before him.
O na mũndũ mwaganu angĩĩka maũndũ mooru maita igana na atũũre muoyo ihinda iraaya-rĩ, nĩnjũũĩ na ma atĩ andũ arĩa metigĩrĩte Ngai nĩmakona maũndũ mega, o acio mahooyaga marĩ mbere ya Ngai.
13 And good not it will belong to the wicked and not he will prolong days like shadow that not he he has feared from to before God.
No rĩrĩ, tondũ andũ arĩa aaganu matiĩtigagĩra Ngai-rĩ, matikoona maũndũ mega, na matukũ mao matikaraiha ta kĩĩruru.
14 There [is] futility which it is done on the earth that - there [are] righteous [people] whom [it is] happening to them according to [the] deed[s] of wicked [people] and there [are] wicked [people] [to] whom [it is] happening to them according to [the] deed[s] of righteous [people] I said that also this [is] futility.
Na nĩ kũrĩ ũndũ ũngĩ wa tũhũ wĩkĩkaga gũkũ thĩ: naguo nĩ atĩ andũ arĩa athingu nĩmakoragwo nĩ maũndũ marĩa magĩrĩire gũkora andũ arĩa aaganu, ningĩ atĩ andũ arĩa aaganu nĩmakoragwo nĩ maũndũ marĩa magĩrĩire gũkora andũ arĩa athingu. Ũndũ ũyũ o naguo, nguga atĩrĩ, no wa tũhũ.
15 And I commend I gladness that not good [belongs] to humankind under the sun that except to eat and to drink and to be happy and that it will accompany him in toil his [the] days of life his which he has given to him God under the sun.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio ngũgaathĩrĩria gĩkeno kĩa mũtũũrĩre, tondũ gũtirĩ ũndũ ũngĩ mwega wa mũndũ gũkũ thĩ kwaraga riũa gũkĩra kũrĩa, na kũnyua, na gũkena. Nakĩo gĩkeno gĩtũũre kĩrũmanĩrĩire nake wĩra-inĩ wake matukũ mothe ma muoyo marĩa Ngai amũheete gũkũ thĩ kwaraga riũa.
16 When I gave heart my to know wisdom and to see the task which it is done on the earth for also in day and in night sleep in view his not he [is] seeing.
Rĩrĩa ndeerutanĩirie kũmenya ũhoro wa ũũgĩ na kuona wĩra ũrĩa mũndũ arutaga gũkũ thĩ, tondũ nĩ kũrĩ mũndũ maitho make matoonaga toro mũthenya kana ũtukũ,
17 And I saw all [the] work of God that not he is able humankind to find out the work which it is done under the sun in that that he toils humankind to seek and not he will find out and also if he will say the wise [person] to know not he will be able to find out.
hĩndĩ ĩyo ngĩkĩona maũndũ marĩa mothe Ngai ekĩte. Gũtirĩ mũndũ ũngĩhota kũmenya ũrĩa gũthiiaga na mbere gũkũ thĩ kwaraga riũa. O na mũndũ angĩtuĩria na kĩyo gĩake gĩothe, ndangĩhota kũmenya gĩtũmi kĩa ũndũ ũcio. O na mũndũ mũũgĩ angĩĩtua atĩ nĩoĩ, ndangĩhota gũtaũkĩrwo kũna nĩ ũndũ ũcio.
