Ecclesiastes 7
1 [is] good A name more than ointment good and [the] day of death more than [the] day of being born he.
Un bon renom est préférable à l’huile parfumée, et le jour de la mort au jour de la naissance.
2 [is] good To go to a house of mourning more than to go to a house of a feast in that this [is] [the] end of every person and the living person he will give to heart his.
Mieux vaut aller dans une maison de deuil que dans une maison où l’on festoie; là se voit la fin de tout homme: et les vivants doivent la prendre à cœur!
3 [is] good Vexation more than laughter for by sadness of face it will be good a heart.
Mieux vaut la tristesse que la gaieté, car le visage peut être sombre et le cœur satisfait.
4 [the] heart of Wise people [is] in a house of mourning and [the] heart of fools [is] in a house of gladness.
La pensée du sage se porte vers la maison de deuil, la pensée des fous vers la maison de plaisir.
5 [is] good To listen to [the] rebuke of a wise [person] more than someone [who] listens to [the] song of fools.
Mieux vaut entendre les reproches d’un sage que d’écouter les chansons des sots.
6 For like [the] sound of thorns under the pot so [the] laughter of the fool and also this [is] futility.
Car tel le crépitement des broussailles sous la marmite, tels sont les rires des fous. Et cela aussi est vanité!
7 For oppression it will make look foolish a wise [person] so it may destroy a heart a bribe.
Certes, la concussion affole le sage, et les présents font perdre le sens.
8 [is] good [the] end of A matter more than beginning its [is] good a [person] patient of spirit more than a [person] proud of spirit.
La fin d’une entreprise est préférable à son début; un caractère endurant l’emporte sur un caractère hautain.
9 May not you be hasty in spirit your to become angry for anger in [the] bosom of fools it settles.
Ne cède pas trop vite à ton humeur irascible, car la colère est à demeure au sein des fous.
10 May not you say why? was it that the days former they were good more than these for not from wisdom you have asked on this.
Ne dis point: "D’Où vient que les temps passés valaient mieux que le présent?" Car c’est manquer de sagesse de poser cette question.
11 [is] good Wisdom with an inheritance and [is] an advantage to [those who] see the sun.
Précieuse est la sagesse avec un patrimoine: grande supériorité pour ceux qui voient le soleil!
12 For [is] a shade wisdom [is] a shade money and [the] advantage of knowledge wisdom it preserves alive owners its.
Car ainsi on est sous la protection de la sagesse et sous la protection de l’argent; toutefois la sagesse l’emporte, car elle prolonge la vie de ceux qui la possèdent.
13 Consider [the] work of God for who? is he able to straighten [that] which he has bent it.
Regarde l’œuvre de Dieu: qui peut redresser ce qu’il a fait courbe?
14 On a day of good be in good and on a day of adversity consider also this exactly as this he has made God on reason that not he will find out humankind after him anything.
Au jour du bonheur, sois content; et au jour du malheur, considère que Dieu a fait correspondre l’un à l’autre, de façon à ce que l’homme ne trouve pas à récriminer contre lui.
15 Everything I have seen in [the] days of futility my there [is] a righteous [person] [who] perishes in righteousness his and there [is] a wicked [person] [who] prolongs in evil his.
J’Ai tout vu au cours de mon éphémère existence: tel juste succombe malgré sa vertu, et tel méchant dure malgré sa perversité.
16 May not you be righteous greatly and may not you make yourself wise excess why? will you destroy yourself.
Ne sois pas juste à l’excès, ne sois pas sage plus qu’il ne faut; pourquoi t’exposer à la ruine?
17 May not you be wicked greatly and may not you be a fool why? will you die at not time your.
Ne sois pas trop méchant, évite d’être sot; pourquoi voudrais-tu mourir avant le temps?
18 [is] good That you will take hold on this and also from this may not you give rest to hand your for [one] fearing God he will go out all of them.
Tu feras bien de t’attacher à l’une des méthodes sans que ta main lâche l’autre: celui qui craint Dieu se tire d’affaire en toutes choses.
19 Wisdom it gives strength to the wise [person] more than ten rulers who they are in the city.
La sagesse est une force pour l’homme, plus efficace que dix chefs gouvernant une ville.
20 For a person there not [is] righteous [person] on the earth who he does good and not he sins.
II n’est pas d’homme juste sur terre qui fasse le bien sans jamais faillir.
21 Also to all the words which people speak may not you give heart your that not you will hear servant your cursing you.
N’Aie garde de faire attention à toutes les paroles qu’on débite; tu éviteras ainsi d’entendre ton esclave proférer des malédictions contre toi.
22 For also times many it knows heart your that also (you *Q(K)*) you have cursed others.
Car bien des fois, ton cœur le sait, il t’est arrivé de proférer des malédictions contre les autres.
23 All this I have put to [the] test by wisdom I said let me be wise and it [was] far from me.
Tout cela, je l’ai expérimenté avec sagacité; je disais: "Je voudrais me rendre maître de la sagesse!" Mais elle s’est tenue loin de moi.
24 [is] far away Whatever [that] which has been and deep - deep who? will he find out it.
Ce qui existe est si loin et si infiniment profond! Qui pourrait y atteindre?
25 I turned I heart my to know and to examine and to seek wisdom and an explanation and to know wickedness stupidity and the folly madness.
Je m’étais appliqué de tout cœur à tout examiner et scruter, à rechercher sagesse et raison, à apprécier aussi malignité et sottise, folie et insanités.
26 And [was] finding I bitter more than death the woman who she [is] snares and [is] nets heart her [are] fetters hands her a [person] good before God he escapes from her and a sinner he is captured by her.
Et ce que j’ai trouvé de plus amer que la mort, c’est la femme, dont le cœur n’est que guet-apens et pièges et dont les bras sont des chaînes. Celui qui jouit de la faveur de Dieu échappe à ses griffes, mais le pécheur s’y laisse prendre.
27 Consider this I have found she said Teacher one to one to find an explanation.
Vois, c’est là ce que j’ai trouvé, dit l’Ecclésiaste, en ajoutant un fait à un autre pour arriver à une conclusion.
28 Which again it has sought self my and not I have found a man one of a thousand I have found and a woman among all these not I have found.
Mais il est une chose encore que j’ai cherchée et que je n’ai pas trouvée: parmi mille individus, j’ai pu trouver un homme, mais de femme, parmi eux tous, je n’en ai pas trouvé.
29 Only consider this I have found that he made God humankind upright and they they have sought schemes many.
Seulement voici ce que j’ai trouvé: c’est que Dieu a fait les hommes pour être droits; ce sont eux qui ont recours à toutes sortes de roueries.
