< Ecclesiastes 2 >
1 I said I in heart my come! please let me put to [the] test you with pleasure and look on good and there! also it [was] futility.
Kinunak iti pusok, “Umayka itan, suutenka iti kinaragsak. Isu a ragsakem ti pakaragsakan. Ngem kitaem, daytoy ket apagbiit met laeng a pul-oy.
2 Of laughter I said [it is] folly and of pleasure what? this [is it] doing.
Kinunak maipapan iti panagkatawa, “Kinamaag daytoy!” ken maipapan iti ragsak, “Ania ti serserbina daytoy?”
3 I searched in heart my to gratify with wine flesh my and heart my [was] guiding with wisdom and to take hold on folly until that I saw where? this [is] good for [the] children of humankind which they will do under the heavens [the] number of [the] days of lives their.
Sinukimat ko iti pusok no kasanok a penneken dagiti tarigagayko babaen iti arak. Impalubosko nga iturongnak ti panunotko iti kinasirib uray no adda pay laeng kaniak ti kinamaag. Kayatko a maammoan ti nasayaat nga aramiden dagiti tattao iti baba ti langit kabayatan dagiti aldaw dagiti bibiagda.
4 I made great works my I built for myself houses I planted for myself vineyards.
Naindaklan a banbanag dagiti naaramidak. Nangipatakderak kadagiti balbalay para iti bagik ken nagmulaak kadagiti kaubasan.
5 I made for myself gardens and parks and I planted in them tree[s] of every fruit.
Nangaramidak kadagiti minuyongan ken parke para iti bagik; minulaak dagitoy iti amin a kita dagiti agbunga a kaykayo.
6 I made for myself pools of water to water from them a forest sprouting of trees.
Nangkaliak kadagiti pagurnongan iti danum a mangsibog iti kabakiran a nagtuboan dagiti kaykayo.
7 I acquired [male] slaves and female slaves and sons of house he belonged to me also livestock herd[s] and flock[s] [surely] a multitude belonged to me more than all who were before me in Jerusalem.
Gimmatangak kadagiti lallaki ken babbai a tagabu; addaanak kadagiti tagabu a naiyanak iti palasiok. Addaanak pay kadagiti dadakkel nga arban ken pangen iti dingwen, nga ad-adu ngem ti siasinoman nga ari nga immun-una a nagturay iti Jerusalem sakbay kaniak.
8 I gathered for myself also silver and gold and treasure of kings and provinces I acquired for myself male singers and female singers and [the] delights of [the] children of humankind breast and breasts.
Nakaurnongak iti pirak ken balitok, kadagiti gameng dagiti ar-ari ken probprobinsia. Addaanak kadagiti lallaki ken babbai a kumakanta nga agpaay kaniak; babaen kadagiti adu nga as-assawa ken kakabkabbalay, inaramidko dagiti banbanag a makaparagsak iti siasinoman a lalaki iti rabaw ti daga.
9 And I became great and I increased more than any who was before me in Jerusalem also wisdom my it remained to me.
Isu a nagbalinak a nain-indaklan ken nabakbaknang ngem kadagiti amin nga immun-una ngem siak iti Jerusalem, ken nagtalinaed kaniak ti kinasiribko.
10 And all that they asked eyes my not I withheld from them not I restrained heart my from any pleasure for heart my [was] joyful from all toil my and this it was reward my from all toil my.
Aniaman a tinarigagayan dagiti matak, saanko nga impaidam kadagitoy. Saanko nga impaidam iti pusok ti aniaman a pakaragsakan, gapu ta agrag-o ti pusok iti amin a nagbannogak ket ragragsak ti gunggonak kadagiti amin a trabahok.
11 And I turned I on all works my that had done hands my and on the toil that I had toiled to do and there! everything [was] futility and striving of wind and there not [was] profit under the sun.
Ket kinitak dagiti amin nga inaramid ti imak ken iti trabaho nga inaramidko, ngem kaskasdi met laeng nga alingasaw dagiti amin a banag ken panangpadas a mangipastor iti angin. Awan ti magunggona iti baba ti init.
12 And I turned I to consider wisdom and madness and folly for - what? [is] the person who will come after the king [that] which already people have done it.
Ket timmalikudak a mangutob iti kinasirib, ken kasta met iti kinamauyong ken kinamaag. Ta ania ti maaramidan ti sumaruno nga ari a sumukat kalpasan ti ari, a saan pay a naaramid?
13 And I saw I that there [is] advantage of wisdom more than folly like [the] advantage of light more than darkness.
Ket nangrugi a naawatak nga adda pangatiwan ti kinasirib iti kinamaag, kas ti lawag a nasaysayaat ngem iti sipnget.
14 The wise [person] eyes his [are] in head his and the fool in darkness [is] walking and I knew also I that fate one it will happen to all of them.
Us-usaren ti nasirib a tao ti matana a mangkita iti papananna, ngem magmagna ti maag iti kasipngetan, numan pay ammok nga agpada a gasat ti nakasagana para iti tunggal maysa.
15 And I said I in heart my like [the] fate of the fool also me it will happen to me and why? have I become wise I then excessively and I said in heart my that also this [is] futility.
Ket kinunak iti pusok, “Aniaman a mapaspasamak iti maag ket mapasamakto met kaniak. Isu nga ania ti pagdumaanna no kasta unay ti kinasiribko?” Inkeddengko iti pusok, “Daytoy ket alingasaw met laeng.”
16 For there not [is] remembrance of the wise man with the fool for a long time in that already the days coming everything it has been forgotten and how! he will die the wise [person] with the fool.
Ta ti nasirib a tao, kas iti maag, ket saan a malaglagip iti atiddug a panawen. Kadagiti dumteng nga al-aldaw, amin dagita a banbanag ket nabayagen a nalipatan. Matay ti nasirib a tao a kas met iti maag a matay.
17 And I hated life for [was] evil on me the work that was done under the sun for everything [is] futility and striving of wind.
Isu a ginurak ti biag gapu ta dakes para kaniak dagiti amin a trabaho a maar-aramid iti baba ti init. Daytoy ket gapu ta alingasaw amin a banbanag ken panangpadas a mangipastor iti angin.
18 And I hated I all toil my that I [was] a laborer under the sun that I will leave it to the person who will be after me.
Kinagurak amin a naaramidko a nagbannogak iti baba ti init gapu ta masapul nga ibatik dagitoy iti tao a sumaruno kaniak.
19 And who? [is] knowing ¿ a wise [person] will he be or? a fool so he may have power over all toil my that I have toiled and that I worked skillfully under the sun also this [is] futility.
Ket siasino ti makaammo no nasiribto isuna wenno maag? Ngem isunanto ti amo kadagiti amin a banag iti baba ti init a naaramidan iti bannog ken kinasiribko. Alingasaw met laeng daytoy.
20 And I turned I to make despair heart my on all the toil that I have toiled under the sun.
Ngarud, nangrugi a maupay ti pusok kadagiti amin a trabaho nga inaramidko iti baba ti init.
21 If there [was] a person who toil his [was] with wisdom and with knowledge and with skill and to a person who not he toiled in it he will give it portion his also this [is] futility and an evil great.
Ta mabalin nga adda ti agtrabaho nga addaan iti kinasirib, pannakaammo ken kinalaing, ngem ibatinanto dagiti amin a banbanag nga adda kenkuana iti maysa a tao a saan pulos a nagtrabaho iti aniaman kadagitoy. Daytoy ket alingasaw met laeng ken nakabutbuteng unay a pasamak.
22 For what? [is] becoming to the person in all toil his and in [the] striving of heart his that he [was] a laborer under the sun.
Ta ania ti magunggona ti tao nga agtrabtrabaho iti kasta unay ken mangpadpadas iti amin a puso a mangleppas kadagiti aramidna iti baba ti init?
23 For all days his [are] pains and [is] vexation task his also in the night not it rests heart his also this [is] futility it.
Inaldaw a nasakit ken narigat ti trabahona, isu a saan a makainana ti kararuana iti rabii. Daytoy ket alingasaw met laeng.
24 There not [is] good for person that he will eat and he will drink and he will show self his good in toil his also this I have seen I that [is] from [the] hand of God it.
Awan ti nasaysayaat para iti siasinoman ngem ti laeng mangan, uminom ken mapnek iti aniaman a nasayaat iti trabahona. Nakitak a naggapu iti ima ti Dios daytoy a kinapudno.
25 For who? will he eat and who? will he enjoy outside from me.
Ta siasino ti makapangan wenno maaddaan iti aniaman a kita ti ragsak nga awan iti Dios?
26 For to anyone who [is] good before him he gives wisdom and knowledge and joy and to the sinner he gives a task to gather and to collect to give [it] to a [person] good before God also this [is] futility and striving of wind.
Ta iti siasinoman a makaay-ayo kenkuana, ited ti Dios ti kinasirib, pannakaammo ken rag-o. Nupay kasta, itedna iti managbasol ti trabaho iti panagurnong ken panagidulin tapno itedna iti maysa a tao a makaay-ayo iti Dios. Daytoy ket alingasaw met laeng ken panangpadas a mangipastor iti angin.
