Deuteronomy 8
1 All the commandment which I [am] commanding you this day you will take care! to observe so that you may live! and you will increase and you will go and you will take possession of the land which he swore Yahweh to ancestors your.
Todos os mandamentos que hoje vos ordeno guardareis para os fazer: para que vivaes, e vos multipliqueis, e entreis, e possuaes a terra que o Senhor jurou a vossos paes.
2 And you will remember all the way which he led you Yahweh God your this forty year[s] in the wilderness so as to humble you to put to [the] test you to know [that] which [was] in heart your ¿ will you keep (commandments his *Q(K)*) or? not.
E te lembrarás de todo o caminho, pelo qual o Senhor teu Deus te guiou no deserto estes quarenta annos, para te humilhar, e te tentar, para saber o que estava no teu coração, se guardarias os seus mandamentos, ou não.
3 And he humbled you and he caused to hunger you and he caused to eat you (*L(abh)*) the manna which not you had known and not they had known! ancestors your so as to make know you that not on the bread by only it he lives humankind for on every utterance of [the] mouth of Yahweh he lives humankind.
E te humilhou, e te deixou ter fome, e te sustentou com o manná, que tu não conheceste, nem teus paes o conheceram: para te dar a entender que o homem não viverá só de pão, mas que de tudo o que sae da bocca do Senhor viverá o homem.
4 Clothing your not it wore out from on you and foot your not it swelled this forty year[s].
Nunca se envelheceu o teu vestido sobre ti, nem se inchou o teu pé estes quarenta annos.
5 And you will know with heart your that just as he disciplines everyone child his Yahweh God your [is] disciplining you.
Confessa pois no teu coração que, como um homem castiga a seu filho, assim te castiga o Senhor teu Deus.
6 And you will keep [the] commandments of Yahweh God your by walking in ways his and by fearing him.
E guarda os mandamentos do Senhor teu Deus, para o temer, e andar nos seus caminhos.
7 For Yahweh God your [will] bring you into a land good a land of torrents of water springs and deeps [which] go forth in the valley and on the mountain.
Porque o Senhor teu Deus te mette n'uma boa terra, terra de ribeiros d'aguas, de fontes, e d'abysmos, que saem dos valles e das montanhas;
8 A land of wheat and barley and vine and fig tree and pomegranate a land of olive tree of oil and honey.
Terra de trigo e cevada, e de vides, e figueiras, e romeiras; terra de oliveiras, abundante de azeite e mel;
9 A land which not in scarcity you will eat in it food not you will lack anything in it a land which stones its [are] iron and from hills its you will dig copper.
Terra em que comerás o pão sem escassez, e nada te faltará n'ella: terra cujas pedras são ferro, e de cujos montes tu cavarás o cobre.
10 And you will eat and you will be satisfied and you will bless Yahweh God your on the land good which he has given to you.
Quando pois tiveres comido, e fores farto, louvarás ao Senhor teu Deus pela boa terra que te deu.
11 Take heed to yourself lest you should forget Yahweh God your to not to keep commandments his and judgments his and statutes his which I [am] commanding you this day.
Guarda-te que te esqueças do Senhor teu Deus, não guardando os seus mandamentos, e os seus juizos, e os seus estatutos que hoje te ordeno:
12 Lest you should eat and you will be satisfied and houses good you will build and you will dwell.
Para que, porventura, havendo tu comido e fores farto, e havendo edificado boas casas, e habitando-as,
13 And herd your and flock your they will increase! and silver and gold it will increase of you and all that [belongs] to you it will increase.
E se tiverem augmentado as tuas vaccas e as tuas ovelhas, e se accrescentar a prata e o oiro, e se multiplicar tudo quanto tens,
14 And it will be lifted up heart your and you will forget Yahweh God your who brought out you from [the] land of Egypt from a house of slaves.
Se não eleve o teu coração e te esqueças do Senhor teu Deus, que te tirou da terra do Egypto, da casa da servidão;
15 Who led you in the wilderness - great and awesome snake - fiery and scorpion and thirsty ground where there not [was] water who brought forth for you water from [the] rock of flint.
Que te guiou por aquelle grande e terrivel deserto de serpentes ardentes, e d'escorpiões, e de secura, em que não havia agua; e tirou agua para ti da rocha do seixal;
16 Who caused to eat you manna in the wilderness which not they had known! ancestors your so as to humble you and so as to put to [the] test you to do good to you in end your.
Que no deserto te sustentou com manná, que teus paes não conheceram; para te humilhar, e para te provar, para no teu fim te fazer bem;
17 And you will say in heart your strength my and [the] might of hand my it has acquired for me the wealth this.
E digas no teu coração: A minha força, e a fortaleza de meu braço, me adquiriu este poder.
18 And you will remember Yahweh God your that he [is] the [one who] gives to you strength to acquire wealth so as to carry out covenant his which he swore to ancestors your as the day this.
Antes te lembrarás do Senhor teu Deus, que elle é o que te dá força para adquirires poder; para confirmar o seu concerto, que jurou a teus paes; como se vê n'este dia.
19 And it will be certainly [if] you will forget Yahweh God your and you will walk after gods other and you will serve them and you will bow down to them I testify against you this day that certainly you will perish!
Será porém que, se de qualquer sorte te esqueceres do Senhor teu Deus, e se ouvires outros deuses, e os servires, e te inclinares perante elles, hoje eu protesto contra vós que certamente perecereis.
20 Like the nations which Yahweh [is] about to destroy from before you so you will perish! consequence not you will listen! to [the] voice of Yahweh God your.
Como as gentes que o Senhor destruiu diante de vós, assim vós perecereis: porquanto não querieis obedecer á voz do Senhor vosso Deus.
