Deuteronomy 5
1 And he summoned Moses all Israel and he said to them hear O Israel the statutes and the judgments which I [am] speaking in ears your this day and you will learn them and you will take care to observe them.
Moisés llamó a todo Israel y les dijo: “Escucha, Israel, los estatutos y las ordenanzas que hoy les hablo en sus oídos, para que los aprendan y cuiden de cumplirlos.”
2 Yahweh God our he made with us a covenant at Horeb.
Yahvé, nuestro Dios, hizo un pacto con nosotros en Horeb.
3 Not with ancestors our he made Yahweh the covenant this for with us we these here this day all of us alive.
Yahvé no hizo este pacto con nuestros padres, sino con nosotros, que somos todos los que estamos aquí vivos hoy.
4 Face - on face he spoke Yahweh with you at the mountain from [the] middle of the fire.
Yahvé habló con ustedes cara a cara en el monte, en medio del fuego,
5 I [was] standing between Yahweh and between you at the time that to declare to you [the] word of Yahweh for you were afraid of the fire and not you went up on the mountain saying.
(yo me interpuse entre Yahvé y ustedes en ese momento, para mostrarles la palabra de Yahvé; porque vosotros tuvisteis miedo a causa del fuego y no subieron al monte) diciendo,
6 I [am] Yahweh God your who I brought out you from [the] land of Egypt (from a house of slaves. *L(p)*)
“Yo soy Yahvé, tu Dios, que te sacó de la tierra de Egipto, de la casa de la esclavitud.
7 (Not it will belong to you gods other *L(p)*) on (face my. *L(p)*)
“No tendréis otros dioses delante de mí.
8 (Not you must make for yourself an image of - *L(p)*) any (form which [is] in the heavens - above and which [is] on the earth beneath *L(p)*) and which ([is] in the waters - from under to the earth. *L(p)*)
“No te harás ninguna imagen tallada, ni ninguna semejanza de lo que está arriba en el cielo, ni de lo que está abajo en la tierra, ni de lo que está en las aguas debajo de la tierra.
9 Not (you must bow down to them *L(p)*) and not (you must be enticed to serve them *L(p)*) for I Yahweh God your [am] a God jealous [who] visits [the] iniquity of parents on children and on a third generation and on a fourth generation (of [those who] hate me. *L(p)*)
No te inclinarás ante ellas, ni las servirás, porque yo, Yahvé vuestro Dios, soy un Dios celoso, que visita la iniquidad de los padres en los hijos y en la tercera y cuarta generación de los que me odian
10 (And [who] does covenant loyalty *L(p)*) (to thousands *L(b+p)*) of [those who] love me and of [those who] keep (commandments my. *Q(K)*)
y que muestra bondad amorosa a miles de los que me aman y guardan mis mandamientos.
11 Not you must take [the] name of Yahweh God your for emptiness for not he will leave unpunished Yahweh [one] who he will take name his for emptiness.
“No harás mal uso del nombre de Yahvé, tu Dios; porque Yahvé no declarará inocente al que haga mal uso de su nombre.
12 (Keep *L(p)*) ([the] day of the sabbath to set apart as holy it *L(p)*) just as (he commanded you - Yahweh God your. *L(p)*)
“Observa el día de reposo, para santificarlo, como te lo ordenó Yahvé vuestro Dios.
13 (Six days *L(p)*) (you will labor *L(b+p)*) (and you will do all work your. *L(p)*)
Trabajarás seis días y harás todo tu trabajo;
14 And [the] day (seventh [is] a sabbath - *L(p)*) (to Yahweh *L(b+p)*) (God your *L(p)*) not you must do any work you and son your and daughter your and [male] servant your and female servant your and ox your and donkey your and all livestock your and sojourner your who [is] in gates your so that he may rest [male] servant your and female servant your (like you. *L(p)*)
pero el séptimo día es sábado para Yahvé vuestro Dios, en el cual no harás ningún trabajo, ni tú, ni tu hijo, ni tu hija, ni tu siervo, ni tu sierva, ni tu buey, ni tu asno, ni ninguno de tus animales, ni tu extranjero que esté dentro de tus puertas; para que tu siervo y tu sierva descansen como tú.
15 (And you will remember *L(p)*) that (a slave you were - *L(p)*) in [the] land of (Egypt and he brought out you Yahweh God your from there by a hand strong *L(p)*) and by an arm (outstretched *L(p)*) there-fore he has commanded you Yahweh God your to observe [the] day of the sabbath.
Recordarás que fuiste siervo en la tierra de Egipto, y que el Señor tu Dios te sacó de allí con mano poderosa y brazo extendido. Por eso el Señor, tu Dios, te ordenó que guardes el día de reposo.
16 Honor father your and mother your just as he has commanded you Yahweh God your so that - they may be long! days your and so that it may go well for you on the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you.
“Honra a tu padre y a tu madre, como te ha ordenado Yahvé vuestro Dios, para que tus días se alarguen y te vaya bien en la tierra que Yahvé vuestro Dios te da.
17 (Not you must murder. *L(p)*)
“No matarás.
18 (And not you must commit adultery. *L(p)*)
“No cometerás adulterio.
19 (And not you must steal. *L(p)*)
“No robarás.
20 And not you must testify against neighbor your testimony of falsehood.
“No darás falso testimonio contra tu prójimo.
21 And not you must covet [the] wife of neighbor your. And not you must desire [the] house of neighbor your field his and [male] servant his and female servant his ox his and donkey his and all that [belongs] to neighbor your.
“No codiciarás la mujer de tu prójimo. Tampoco desearás la casa de tu prójimo, ni su campo, ni su siervo, ni su sierva, ni su buey, ni su asno, ni nada que sea de tu prójimo”.
22 The words these he spoke Yahweh to all assembly your at the mountain from [the] middle of the fire the cloud and the thick darkness a voice great and not he added and he inscribed them on two tablets of stone and he gave them to me.
El Señor dijo estas palabras a toda tu asamblea en la montaña, en medio del fuego, de la nube y de la espesa oscuridad, con una gran voz. No añadió nada más. Las escribió en dos tablas de piedra y me las dio.
23 And it was when heard you the voice from [the] middle of the darkness and the mountain [was] burning with fire and you drew near! to me all [the] chiefs of tribes your and elders your.
Cuando oísteis la voz en medio de las tinieblas, mientras la montaña ardía en fuego, os acercasteis a mí, todos los jefes de vuestras tribus y vuestros ancianos;
24 And you said here! he has shown us Yahweh God our glory his and greatness his and voice his we have heard from [the] middle of the fire the day this we have seen that he speaks God with humankind and he will live.
y dijisteis: “He aquí que el Señor, nuestro Dios, nos ha mostrado su gloria y su grandeza, y hemos oído su voz en medio del fuego. Hoy hemos visto que Dios habla con el hombre, y él vive.
25 And therefore why? will we die for it will consume us the fire great this if [are] repeating - we to hear [the] voice of Yahweh God our again and we will die.
Ahora, pues, ¿por qué hemos de morir? Porque este gran fuego nos consumirá. Si seguimos oyendo la voz de Yahvé, nuestro Dios, moriremos.
26 For who? [is] all flesh who he has heard [the] voice of God living speaking from [the] middle of the fire like us and he has lived.
Porque ¿quién hay de toda carne que haya oído la voz del Dios vivo hablando desde el medio del fuego, como nosotros, y haya vivido?
27 Draw near you and hear all that he will say Yahweh God our and you - you will speak to us all that he will speak Yahweh God our to you and we will listen and we will do [it].
Acércate y escucha todo lo que diga Yahvé nuestro Dios, y cuéntanos todo lo que te diga Yahvé nuestro Dios; y lo oiremos y lo haremos.”
28 And he heard Yahweh [the] sound of words your when spoke you to me and he said Yahweh to me I have heard [the] sound of [the] words of the people this which they spoke to you they have done well all that they have spoken.
Yahvé oyó la voz de tus palabras cuando me hablaste; y Yahvé me dijo: “He oído la voz de las palabras de este pueblo que te han dicho. Han dicho bien todo lo que han dicho.
29 Who? will he give and it will belong heart their this to them to fear me and to keep all commandments my all the days so that it may go well for them and for children their for ever.
¡Oh, si hubiera en ellos un corazón tal que me temieran y guardaran siempre todos mis mandamientos, para que les fuera bien a ellos y a sus hijos para siempre!
30 Go say to them return yourselves to tents your.
“Ve y diles: ‘Volved a vuestras tiendas’.
31 And you here stand with me so let me speak to you all the commandment and the statutes and the judgments which you will teach them and they will observe [them] in the land which I [am] about to give to them to take possession of it.
Pero en cuanto a ti, quédate aquí junto a mí, y te diré todos los mandamientos, los estatutos y las ordenanzas que les enseñarás, para que los cumplan en la tierra que les doy en posesión.”
32 And you will take care to do just as he has commanded Yahweh God your you not you must turn aside right [hand] and left [hand].
Por lo tanto, deberás hacer lo que el Señor, tu Dios, te ha ordenado. No te desviarás ni a la derecha ni a la izquierda.
33 In all the way which he has commanded Yahweh God your you you will walk so that you may live! and it will be good for you and you will prolong days in the land which you will take possession of!
Caminarás por todo el camino que Yahvé vuestro Dios te ha ordenado, para que vivas y te vaya bien, y para que prolongues tus días en la tierra que vas a poseer.
