Deuteronomy 5

1 And he summoned Moses all Israel and he said to them hear O Israel the statutes and the judgments which I [am] speaking in ears your this day and you will learn them and you will take care to observe them.

ତହୁଁ ମୋଶା ସମସ୍ତ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡାକି କହିଲେ, “ହେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଶିକ୍ଷାର୍ଥେ, ରକ୍ଷାର୍ଥେ ଓ ପାଳନାର୍ଥେ ଆଜି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କର୍ଣ୍ଣଗୋଚରରେ ଯେଉଁସବୁ ବିଧି ଓ ଶାସନ କହୁଅଛି, ତହିଁରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କର।

2 Yahweh God our he made with us a covenant at Horeb.

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ହୋରେବରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଗୋଟିଏ ନିୟମ କଲେ।

3 Not with ancestors our he made Yahweh the covenant this for with us we these here this day all of us alive.

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସେହି ନିୟମ କଲେ ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ଆଜି ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଜୀବିତ ଅଟୁ ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ, ଆମ୍ଭ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ସହିତ ତାହା କଲେ।

4 Face - on face he spoke Yahweh with you at the mountain from [the] middle of the fire.

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପର୍ବତରେ ଅଗ୍ନି ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ମୁଖାମୁଖୀ କଥା କହିଲେ।

5 I [was] standing between Yahweh and between you at the time that to declare to you [the] word of Yahweh for you were afraid of the fire and not you went up on the mountain saying.

ସେହି ସମୟରେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ଜ୍ଞାତ କରାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଠିଆ ହେଲି; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅଗ୍ନି ସକାଶୁ ଭୀତ ହେବାରୁ ପର୍ବତ ଆରୋହଣ କଲ ନାହିଁ; ତାହାଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ଏହି, ଯଥା,

6 I [am] Yahweh God your who I brought out you from [the] land of Egypt (from a house of slaves. *L(p)*)

ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଦାସ୍ୟଗୃହ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ମିସର ଦେଶରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେହି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଟୁ।

7 (Not it will belong to you gods other *L(p)*) on (face my. *L(p)*)

ଆମ୍ଭ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଆଉ କୌଣସି ଦେବତା ହେବ ନାହିଁ।

8 (Not you must make for yourself an image of - *L(p)*) any (form which [is] in the heavens - above and which [is] on the earth beneath *L(p)*) and which ([is] in the waters - from under to the earth. *L(p)*)

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ କୌଣସି ଖୋଦିତ ପ୍ରତିମା ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; ଉପରିସ୍ଥ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ, କି ନୀଚସ୍ଥ ପୃଥିବୀରେ, କି ପୃଥିବୀର ନୀଚସ୍ଥ ଜଳରେ ଥିବା କୌଣସି (ବସ୍ତୁର) ପ୍ରତିମୂର୍ତ୍ତି (ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବ ନାହିଁ)।

9 Not (you must bow down to them *L(p)*) and not (you must be enticed to serve them *L(p)*) for I Yahweh God your [am] a God jealous [who] visits [the] iniquity of parents on children and on a third generation and on a fourth generation (of [those who] hate me. *L(p)*)

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; କି ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସେବା କରିବ ନାହିଁ; ଯେହେତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସ୍ୱଗୌରବ ରକ୍ଷଣରେ ଉଦ୍‍ଯୋଗୀ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଟୁ। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ତୃତୀୟ ଓ ଚତୁର୍ଥ ପୁରୁଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପୈତୃକ ଅପରାଧର ପ୍ରତିଫଳଦାତା;

10 (And [who] does covenant loyalty *L(p)*) (to thousands *L(b+p)*) of [those who] love me and of [those who] keep (commandments my. *Q(K)*)

ମାତ୍ର ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କରନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସହସ୍ର (ପୁରୁଷ) ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଦୟାକାରୀ।

11 Not you must take [the] name of Yahweh God your for emptiness for not he will leave unpunished Yahweh [one] who he will take name his for emptiness.

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମିଥ୍ୟାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ନାମ ନେବ ନାହିଁ; ଯେହେତୁ ଯେକେହି ମିଥ୍ୟାରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନାମ ନିଏ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାକୁ ନିରପରାଧ ଗଣନା କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।

12 (Keep *L(p)*) ([the] day of the sabbath to set apart as holy it *L(p)*) just as (he commanded you - Yahweh God your. *L(p)*)

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ବିଶ୍ରାମବାର ପାଳନ କରି ପବିତ୍ର କର।

13 (Six days *L(p)*) (you will labor *L(b+p)*) (and you will do all work your. *L(p)*)

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଛଅ ଦିନ ପରିଶ୍ରମ ଓ ଆପଣାର ସବୁ କର୍ମ କରିବ;

14 And [the] day (seventh [is] a sabbath - *L(p)*) (to Yahweh *L(b+p)*) (God your *L(p)*) not you must do any work you and son your and daughter your and [male] servant your and female servant your and ox your and donkey your and all livestock your and sojourner your who [is] in gates your so that he may rest [male] servant your and female servant your (like you. *L(p)*)

ମାତ୍ର ସପ୍ତମ ଦିନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଦିନ ଅଟେ; ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ପୁତ୍ର, କି ତୁମ୍ଭର କନ୍ୟା, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦାସ, କି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦାସୀ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗୋରୁ, କି ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭ, ତୁମ୍ଭର କୌଣସି ପଶୁ, କି ତୁମ୍ଭର ନଗରଦ୍ୱାରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ବିଦେଶୀ, କେହି କୌଣସି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦାସ ଓ ଦାସୀ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରି ବିଶ୍ରାମ କରିବେ।

15 (And you will remember *L(p)*) that (a slave you were - *L(p)*) in [the] land of (Egypt and he brought out you Yahweh God your from there by a hand strong *L(p)*) and by an arm (outstretched *L(p)*) there-fore he has commanded you Yahweh God your to observe [the] day of the sabbath.

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବ ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମିସର ଦେଶରେ ଦାସ ହୋଇଥିଲ, ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ପରାକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହସ୍ତ ଓ ବିସ୍ତାରିତ ବାହୁ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେଠାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲେ; ଏହେତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ବିଶ୍ରାମବାର ପାଳନାର୍ଥେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି।

16 Honor father your and mother your just as he has commanded you Yahweh God your so that - they may be long! days your and so that it may go well for you on the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you.

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପିତାଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଆପଣା ମାତାଙ୍କୁ ସମାଦର କର; ତହିଁରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଦେବେ, ସେହି ଦେଶରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୀର୍ଘ ପରମାୟୁ ଓ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହେବ।

17 (Not you must murder. *L(p)*)

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନରହତ୍ୟା କରିବ ନାହିଁ।

18 (And not you must commit adultery. *L(p)*)

କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବ୍ୟଭିଚାର କରିବ ନାହିଁ।

19 (And not you must steal. *L(p)*)

କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଚୋରି କରିବ ନାହିଁ।

20 And not you must testify against neighbor your testimony of falsehood.

କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବାସୀ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ମିଥ୍ୟା ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେବ ନାହିଁ।

21 And not you must covet [the] wife of neighbor your. And not you must desire [the] house of neighbor your field his and [male] servant his and female servant his ox his and donkey his and all that [belongs] to neighbor your.

କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବାସୀର ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟାକୁ ଲୋଭ କରିବ ନାହିଁ; କିଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବାସୀର ଗୃହ, କି ତାହାର କ୍ଷେତ୍ର, ତାହାର ଦାସ, କି ତାହାର ଦାସୀ, ତାହାର ଗୋରୁ, କି ତାହାର ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭ, କି ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତିବାସୀର କୌଣସି ବସ୍ତୁକୁ ଲୋଭ କରିବ ନାହିଁ।

22 The words these he spoke Yahweh to all assembly your at the mountain from [the] middle of the fire the cloud and the thick darkness a voice great and not he added and he inscribed them on two tablets of stone and he gave them to me.

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପର୍ବତରେ ଅଗ୍ନି ଓ ମେଘ ଓ ଘୋର ଅନ୍ଧାର ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ସମାଜ ପ୍ରତି ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ବାକ୍ୟ ଉଚ୍ଚସ୍ୱରରେ କହିଲେ, ଆଉ କିଛି କହିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ତହୁଁ ସେ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ କଥା ଦୁଇ ଖଣ୍ଡ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ପଟାରେ ଲେଖି ମୋତେ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲେ।

23 And it was when heard you the voice from [the] middle of the darkness and the mountain [was] burning with fire and you drew near! to me all [the] chiefs of tribes your and elders your.

ମାତ୍ର ପର୍ବତ ଅଗ୍ନିରେ ଜ୍ୱଳିବା ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ରବ ଶୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବଂଶାଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ଓ ପ୍ରାଚୀନମାନେ, ମୋʼ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଲ;

24 And you said here! he has shown us Yahweh God our glory his and greatness his and voice his we have heard from [the] middle of the fire the day this we have seen that he speaks God with humankind and he will live.

ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କହିଲ, ‘ଦେଖ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତାପ ଓ ମହିମା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅଗ୍ନି ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ରବ ଶୁଣିଅଛୁ; ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆଜି ଦେଖିଅଛୁ ଯେ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ସହିତ କଥା କହିଲେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ସେ ବଞ୍ଚିପାରେ।

25 And therefore why? will we die for it will consume us the fire great this if [are] repeating - we to hear [the] voice of Yahweh God our again and we will die.

ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏବେ କାହିଁକି ମରିବା? କାରଣ ଏହି ମହା-ଅଗ୍ନି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିବ; ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେବେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ରବ ଆଉ ଥରେ ଶୁଣିବା, ତେବେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମରିଯିବା।

26 For who? [is] all flesh who he has heard [the] voice of God living speaking from [the] middle of the fire like us and he has lived.

କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପରି ଜୀବିତ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ରବ ଅଗ୍ନି ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କହିବାର ଶୁଣି ବଞ୍ଚିଅଛୁ, ପ୍ରାଣୀମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କିଏ ଏପରି ହୋଇଅଛି?

27 Draw near you and hear all that he will say Yahweh God our and you - you will speak to us all that he will speak Yahweh God our to you and we will listen and we will do [it].

ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯାହା କହିବେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଇ ତାହା ଶୁଣ; ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯାହା କହିବେ, ସେସମସ୍ତ କଥା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହ; ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହା ଶୁଣି ପାଳନ କରିବା।’

28 And he heard Yahweh [the] sound of words your when spoke you to me and he said Yahweh to me I have heard [the] sound of [the] words of the people this which they spoke to you they have done well all that they have spoken.

ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ମୋତେ ଏହି କଥା କହିଲ, ‘ସେତେବେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସେହି ବାକ୍ୟର ରବ ଶୁଣି ମୋତେ କହିଲେ, ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯାହା କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେହି ବାକ୍ୟର ରବ ଶୁଣିଅଛୁ; ସେମାନେ ଯାହା କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହା ଭଲ କହିଅଛନ୍ତି।

29 Who? will he give and it will belong heart their this to them to fear me and to keep all commandments my all the days so that it may go well for them and for children their for ever.

ଆହା, ଯେପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହୁଏ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସର୍ବଦା ଆମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରିବାକୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ଆଜ୍ଞାସବୁ ପାଳନ କରିବାକୁ ଯେବେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଏପରି ହୃଦୟ ହୁଅନ୍ତା!

30 Go say to them return yourselves to tents your.

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯାଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହ ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ତମ୍ବୁକୁ ଫେରିଯାଅ।

31 And you here stand with me so let me speak to you all the commandment and the statutes and the judgments which you will teach them and they will observe [them] in the land which I [am] about to give to them to take possession of it.

ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟରେ ଠିଆ ହୁଅ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅଧିକାରାର୍ଥେ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ଦେବା, ସେହି ଦେଶରେ ସେମାନେ ପାଳନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ବିଧି ଓ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଓ ଶାସନ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିଖାଇବ ତାହାସବୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିବା।’

32 And you will take care to do just as he has commanded Yahweh God your you not you must turn aside right [hand] and left [hand].

ଏନିମନ୍ତେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯେପରି ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ତଦନୁସାରେ ପାଳନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମନୋଯୋଗ କରିବ; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତହିଁର ଦକ୍ଷିଣରେ କି ବାମରେ ଫେରିବ ନାହିଁ।

33 In all the way which he has commanded Yahweh God your you you will walk so that you may live! and it will be good for you and you will prolong days in the land which you will take possession of!

ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବଞ୍ଚିବ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହେବ, ପୁଣି ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅଧିକାର କରିବ, ତହିଁରେ ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଦୀର୍ଘ ପରମାୟୁ ହେବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଯେଉଁ ଯେଉଁ ପଥରେ ଚାଲିବାକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେହି ସମସ୍ତ ପଥରେ ଚାଲ।”
