Deuteronomy 31
1 And he went Moses and he spoke the words these to all Israel.
Musa alikwenda na kuzungumza maneno haya kwa Israeli yote.
2 And he said to them [am] a son of one hundred and twenty year[s] I this day not I am able still to go out and to come and Yahweh he has said to me not you will pass over the Jordan this.
Alisema kwao, “Kwa sasa nina umri wa miaka mia moja na ishirini; Siwezi kutoka na kuingia tena; Yahwe ameniambia, “Hautavuka Yordani hii”
3 Yahweh God your he - [is] about to pass over before you he he will destroy the nations these from to before you and you will dispossess them Joshua he [is] about to pass over before you just as he spoke Yahweh.
Yahwe Mungu wako, atakutangulia mbele yako; ataangamiza mataifa haya mbele yako, nawe utawanyanganya. Yoshua atakwenda kabla yako, kama Yahwe alivyonena.
4 And he will do Yahweh to them just as he did to Sihon and to Og [the] kings of the Amorite[s] and to land their whom he destroyed them.
Yahwe atawafanya kwao kama alivyofanya kwa Sihoni na kwa Ogu, wafalme wa Waamori, na kwa nchi yao, aliyoiangamiza.
5 And he will deliver up them Yahweh before you and you will do to them according to all the commandment which I have commanded you.
Yahwe atakupatia ushindi juu yao utakapokutana nao vitani, nawe utafanya kwao yote ntakayokuamuru.
6 Be strong and be bold may not you be afraid and may not you be terrified of them for - Yahweh God your he [is] the [one who] goes with you not he will abandon you and not he will forsake you.
Uwe hodari na mwenye ujasiri mwema, usiogope, na usiwaogope; kwa maana Yahwe Mungu wako, ni yeye aendaye kabla yako; hatakuangusha wala kukuacha.”
7 And he summoned Moses Joshua and he said to him to [the] eyes of all Israel be strong and be bold for you you will go with the people this into the land which he swore Yahweh to ancestors their to give to them and you you will give as an inheritance it them.
Musa akamwita Yoshua na akamwambia machoni pa Israeli yote, “Uwe hodari na mwenye ujasiri mwema, kwa kuwa utaondoka na hawa watu katika nchi ambayo Yahwe ameapa kwa mababu zao kuwapatia; utafanya wairithi.
8 And Yahweh he - [is] the [one who] goes before you he he will be with you not he will abandon you and not he will forsake you not you must be afraid and not you must be dismayed.
Yahwe, yeye ndiye atakwenda kabla yako; atakuwa pamoja nawe; hatakuangusha wala hatakutelekeza; usiogope, usivunjike moyo.”
9 And he wrote down Moses the law this and he gave it to the priests [the] sons of Levi who carry [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh and to all [the] elders of Israel.
Musa aliandika sheria hii na kuwapatia makuhani, wana wa Walawi, ambao walibeba sanduku la agano la Yahwe; pia aligawa nakala zake kwa wazee wote wa Israeli.
10 And he commanded Moses them saying from [the] end of - seven years at [the] appointed time of [the] year of the remission at [the] festival of the booths.
Musa aliwaamuru na kusema, “Katika kila mwisho wa miaka saba, kwa muda uliowekwa wa kudumu kwa ajili ya kufuta madeni, katika Sikukuu ya Vibanda,
11 When comes all Israel to appear with [the] presence of Yahweh God your in the place which he will choose you will read aloud the law this before all Israel in ears their.
ambapo Israeli yote imekuja kujitokeza mbele ya Yahwe Mungu wako katika mahali atakayochagua kuwa patakatifu pake, utasoma sheria hii mbele ya Israeli yote wakisikia.
12 Assemble the people the men and the women and the little one[s] and sojourner your who [is] in gates your so that they may hear and so that they may learn and they will fear Yahweh God your and they will take care to do all [the] words of the law this.
Kusanya watu, wanaume, wanawake, na wadogo, na mgeni wako aliye miongoni mwa malango yako, ili waweze kusikia na kujifunza, na ili kwamba wamheshimu Yahwe Mungu wako na kushika maneno yote ya sheria hii.
13 And children their who not they have known they will hear and they will learn to fear Yahweh God your all the days which you [will be] alive on the land where you [are] about to pass over the Jordan there towards to take possession of it.
Fanya hivi ili kwamba watoto wao, ambao hawajajua, waweze kusikia na kujifunza kumheshimu Yahwe Mungu wako, maadamu unaishi katika nchi ambayo utaenda juu ya Yordani kuimiliki.”
14 And he said Yahweh to Moses here! they have drawn near days your to die summon Joshua and present yourselves at [the] tent of meeting so I may commission him and he went Moses and Joshua and they presented themselves at [the] tent of meeting.
Yahwe alimwambia Musa, “Tazama, siku inakuja ambayo lazima utakakufa; muite Yoshua na mjidhihirishe katika hema la makutano, ili kwamba niweze kuwapatia amri.” Musa an Yoshua waliondoka na kujidhihirisha katika hema la makutano.
15 And he appeared Yahweh at the tent in a pillar of cloud and it stood [the] pillar of cloud over [the] entrance of the tent.
Yahwe alijifunua kwenye hema kwa nguzo ya wingu; nguzo ya wingu ilisimama juu ya mlango wa hema.
16 And he said Yahweh to Moses here you [are] about to lie down with ancestors your and it will arise the people this and it will act as a prostitute - after - [the] gods of foreignness of the land where it [is] about to go there towards in midst its and it will forsake me and it will break covenant my which I made with it.
Yahwe alimwambia Musa, “Tazama, utalala na baba zako; watu hawa watainuka na kujifanya kama kahaba na kwenda kwa miungu ya ajabu ambayo imo miongoni mwao katika nchi wanapokwenda. Wataniacha na kuvunja agano langu ambalo nimefanya nao.
17 And it will burn anger my on it on the day that and I will forsake them and I will hide face my from them and it will be for devouring and they will come upon it calamities many and troubles and it will say on the day that ¿ not on for not God my [is] in midst my have they come upon me the calamities these.
Basi, katika siku hiyo, hasira yangu itawaka dhidi yao nami nitawaacha. Nitaficha uso wangu kwao nao watamezwa. Maafa na taabu nyingi yatawakumba ili waseme katika siku hiyo, “Maafa haya hayajaja kwetu kwa sababu Mungu hayupo kati yetu?”
18 And I certainly I will hide face my on the day that on all the evil which it has done for it has turned to gods other.
Hakika nitaficha uso wangu kwao katika siku hiyo kwa sababu ya uovu wote ambao watakuwa wametenda, kwa sababu wamegeukia miungu mingine.
19 And therefore write down for yourselves the song this and teach it [the] people of Israel put it in mouth their so that it may become for me the song this a witness on [the] people of Israel.
Basi sasa andika wimbo huu kwa ajili yenu na wafundishe watu wa Israeli. Uweke vinywani mwao, ili kwamba wimbo huu uweze kuwa shahidi kwangu dhidi ya watu wa Israeli.
20 If I will bring it into the land - which I swore to ancestors its flowing of milk and honey and it will eat and it will be satisfied and it will grow fat and it will turn to gods other and they will serve them and they will spurn me and it will break covenant my.
Kwa maana nitakapowaleta katika nchi ambayo niliapa kwa mababu zao, nchi inayotiririka kwa maziwa na asali, na watakapokula na kuridhika na kunenepa, ndipo watageukia miungu mingine nao watawatumikia na kunidharau na watavunja agano langu.
21 And it will be that they will come upon it calamities many and troubles and it will testify the song this before it to a witness for not it will be forgotten from [the] mouth of offspring its for I know intention its which it [is] making this day before I will bring it into the land which I swore.
Maovu na taabu nyingi zitakapokuja juu ya watu hawa, huu wimbo utashuhudia mbele yao (kwa maana hautasahaulika vinywani mwa uzao wao). Kwa maana najua mipango wanayotengeneza leo, hata kabla sijawaleta katika nchi niliyowaahidi.
22 And he wrote down Moses the song this on the day that and he taught it [the] people of Israel.
Kwa hiyo Musa aliandika huu wimbo siku hiyo hiyo na kuwafundisha watu wa Israeli.
23 And he commissioned Joshua [the] son of Nun and he said be strong and be bold for you you will bring [the] people of Israel into the land which I swore to them and I I will be with you.
Yahwe alimpa Yoshua mwana wa Nuni amri na kusema, “Uwe hodari na mwenye ujasiri mwema; kwa maana utawaleta watu wa Israeli katika nchi niliyoapa kwao, nami nitakuwa pamoja nawe.”
24 And it was - when finished Moses to write down [the] words of the law this on a book until were complete they.
Ikatokea kwamba Musa alipomaliza kuandika maneno ya sheria hii katika kitabu,
25 And he commanded Moses the Levites [who] carry [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh saying.
aliwaamuru Walawi waliobeba sanduku la agano la Yahwe, na kusema,
26 Take [the] book of the law this and you will put it from [the] side of [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh God your and it will become there on you a witness.
“Chukua kitabu hiki cha sheria na kiweke pembeni mwa sanduku la agano la Yahwe Mungu wenu, ili kiweze kuwa pale kama ushahidi dhidi yenu.
27 For I I know rebellion your and neck your stiff here! when still I [am] alive with you this day rebellious you have been with Yahweh and indeed? for after death my.
Maana nafahamu uasi wenu na shingo zenu ngumu; tazama, maadamu nipo hai pamoja nanyi hata leo, mmekuwa waasi dhidi ya Yahwe; itakuaje baada ya mimi kufa?
28 Assemble to me all [the] elders of tribes your and officials your and let me speak in ears their the words these so I may call as witnesses against them the heavens and the earth.
Nikusanyieni wazee wote wa makabila yenu, na maafisa wenu, ili nizungumze maneno haya masikioni mwao na kuziita mbingu na nchi kushuhudia dhidi yao.
29 For I know after death my that certainly you will act corruptly! and you will turn aside from the way which I have commanded you and it will happen to you evil at [the] end of the days for you will do the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh to provoke to anger him by [the] work of hands your.
Kwa maana najua baada ya kifo changu mtajiharibu kabisa na kugeuka kuiacha njia niliyowaamuru; maafa yatawakumba katika siku zijazo. Haya yatatokea kwa sababu mtafanya yaliyo maovu machoni pa Yahwe, ili kumchokoza katika hasira kwa mikono ya kazi yenu.”
30 And he spoke Moses in [the] ears of all [the] assembly of Israel [the] words of the song this until were complete they.
Musa alinena masikioni mwa kusanyiko lote la Israeli maneno yote ya wimbo huu hadi yalipokamilika.
