Deuteronomy 28
1 And it will be certainly [if] you will listen to [the] voice of Yahweh God your to take care to observe all commandments his which I [am] commanding you this day and he will set you Yahweh God your most high above all [the] nations of the earth.
Men dersom du adlyder HERREN din Guds Røst og handler efter alle hans Bud, som jeg i Dag pålægger dig, så vil HERREN din Gud sætte dig højt over alle Folk på Jorden;
2 And they will come on you all the blessings these and they will overtake you if you will listen to [the] voice of Yahweh God your.
og alle disse Velsignelser vil komme over dig og nå dig, dersom du adlyder HERREN din Guds Røst:
3 [will be] blessed You in the city and [will be] blessed you in the open country.
Velsignet skal du være i Staden, og velsignet skal du være på Marken!
4 [will be] blessed [the] fruit of Womb your and [the] fruit of ground your and [the] fruit of livestock your [the] young of cattle your and [the] young ones of sheep your.
Velsignet dit Livs, din Jords og dit Kvægs Frugt, både Tillægget af dine Okser og dit Småkvægs Yngel!
5 [will be] blessed Basket your and kneading trough your.
Velsignet din kurv og dit Dejtrug!
6 [will be] blessed You when coming you and [will be] blessed you when going out you.
Velsignet skal du være, når du går ind, og velsignet skal du være, når du går ud!
7 He will make Yahweh enemies your who will arise on you defeated before you in a direction one they will come out against you and in seven directions they will flee before you.
Når dine Fjender rejser sig imod dig, skal HERREN slå dem på Flugt foran dig; ad een Vej skal de drage ud imod dig, men ad syv skal de flygte for dig.
8 He will command Yahweh with you the blessing in barns your and in every undertaking of hand your and he will bless you in the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you.
HERREN skal byde sin Velsignelse være med dig i dine Lader og i alt, hvad du tager dig for, og velsigne dig i det Land, HERREN din Gud giver dig.
9 (He will establish you *LB(ah)*) Yahweh for himself to a people holy just as he swore to you that [if] you will keep [the] commandments of Yahweh God your and you will walk in ways his.
HERREN skal gøre dig til sit hellige Folk, som han tilsvor dig, når du holder HERREN din Guds Bud og vandrer på hans Veje.
10 And they will see all [the] peoples of the earth that [the] name of Yahweh it is called on you and they will be afraid from you.
Og alle Jordens Folk skal se, at HERRENs Navn er nævnet over dig, og frygte dig.
11 And he will make abound you Yahweh to good in [the] fruit of womb your and in [the] fruit of livestock your and in [the] fruit of ground your on the land which he swore Yahweh to ancestors your to give to you.
HERREN skal give dig Geder i Overflod, Frugt af dit Moderliv, Frugt af dit kvæg og Frugt af din Jord i det Land, HERREN tilsvor dine Fædre at ville give dig.
12 He will open Yahweh - for you storehouse his good the heavens to give [the] rain of land your at appropriate time its and to bless all [the] work of hand your and you will lend to nations many and you not you will borrow.
HERREN skal åbne dig sit rige Forrådskammer, Himmelen, for at give dit Land Regn i rette Tid og for at velsigne alt, hvad du tager dig for, og du skal låne ud til mange Folk, men selv skal du ikke låne.
13 And he will make you Yahweh into [the] head and not into [the] tail and you will be only upwards and not you will be downwards if you will listen to [the] commandments of - Yahweh God your which I [am] commanding you this day to take care and to do.

Men hvis du ikke adlyder HERREN din Guds Røst og omhyggeligt handler efter alle hans Bud og Anordninger, som jeg i Dag pålægger dig, så skal alle disse Forbandelser komme over dig og nå dig:
16 [will be] cursed You in the city and [will be] cursed you in the open country.
Forbandet skal du være i Staden, og forbandet skal du være på Marken!
17 [will be] cursed Basket your and kneading trough your.
Forbandet din Kurv og dit Dejgtrug!
18 [will be] cursed [the] fruit of Womb your and [the] fruit of ground your [the] young of cattle your and [the] young ones of sheep your.
Forbandet dit Livs og din Jords Frugt, Tillægget af dine Okser og dit Småkvægs Yngel!
19 [will be] cursed You when coming you and [will be] cursed you when going out you.
Forbandet skal du være, når du går ind, og forbandet skal du være, når du går ud!
20 He will send Yahweh - on you the curse confusion and rebuke in every undertaking of hand your which you will do until being destroyed you and until perishing you quickly because of [the] wickedness of deeds your which you have forsaken me.

22 He will strike you Yahweh with consumption and with fever and with inflammation and with feverish heat and with the sword and with blight and with mildew and they will pursue you until perishing you.
HERREN skal ramme dig med Svindsot, Feberglød, Betændelse og Hede, med Tørke, Kornbrand og Rust, og de skal forfølge dig, indtil du er gået til Grunde.
23 And they will be heavens your which [are] over head your bronze and the ground which [is] under you iron.
Himmelen over dit Hoved skal blive som Kobber, Jorden under dig som Jern.
24 He will make Yahweh [the] rain of land your dust and dust from the heavens it will come down on you until being destroyed you.
Regnen over dit Land skal HERREN forvandle til Sand og Støv, som falder ned over dig fra Himmelen, indtil du er ødelagt.
25 He will make you Yahweh - defeated before enemies your in a direction one you will go out against him and in seven directions you will flee before him and you will become a terror to all [the] kingdoms of the earth.

28 He will strike you Yahweh with madness and with blindness and with bewilderment of heart.

29 And you will be groping in the noontide just as he gropes blind [person] in the darkness and not you will make successful ways your and you will be only oppressed and robbed all the days and there not [will be] a deliverer.
Ved højlys Dag skal du famle dig frem, som den blinde famler sig frem i Mørket; alt, hvad du tager dig for, skal mislykkes for dig, du skal kues og plyndres alle Dage, og ingen skal frelse dig.
30 A woman you will betroth and a man another (he will lie with her *Q(K)*) a house you will build and not you will dwell in it a vineyard you will plant and not (you will put to use it. *L(abh)*)
Den Kvinde, du trolover dig med, skal en anden favne; det Hus, du bygger dig, skal du ikke komme til at bo i; den Vingård, du planter, skal du ikke plukke Druer i;
31 Ox your [will be] slaughtered to eyes your and not you will eat any of it donkey your [will be] seized from to before you and not anyone will return [it] to you flock your [will be] given to enemies your and not [will belong] to you a deliverer.
din Okse skal slagtes for dine Øjne, men du skal ikke spise deraf; dit Æsel skal røves i dit Påsyn og ikke komme tilbage til dig; dit Småkvæg skal komme i Fjendevold, og ingen skal hjælpe dig;
32 Sons your and daughters your [will be] given to a people another and eyes your [will be] looking and longing to them all the day and not [it is] to [the] power of hand your.
dine Sønner og Døtre skal prisgives et fremmed Folk, og med egne Øjne skal du se det og vansmægte af Længsel efter dem Dagen lang, uden at du formår noget.
33 [the] fruit of Ground your and all [the] result of toil your it will eat a people which not you have known and you will be only oppressed and crushed all the days.
Frugten af dit Land og af al din Møje skal fortæres af et Folk, du ikke kender; du skal kues og mishandles alle Dage;
34 And you will be driven mad from [the] sight[s] of eyes your which you will see.
du skal blive afsindig ved alt, hvad du må se på.
35 He will strike you Yahweh with boil[s] bad on the knees and on the legs which not you will be able to be healed from [the] sole of foot your and to scalp your.
HERREN skal slå dig på knæ og Læg med onde Svulster, der ikke kan læges, ja fra Fodsål til Isse.
36 He will lead Yahweh you and king your whom you will raise up over you to a nation which not you have known you and ancestors your and you will serve there gods other wood and stone.
Dig og din Konge, som du sætter over dig, skal HERREN føre til et Folk, som hverken du eller dine Fædre før kendte til, og der skal du dyrke fremmede Guder, Træ og Sten.
37 And you will become a horror a byword and a taunt among all the peoples where he will drive away you Yahweh there towards.
Du skal blive til Rædsel, Spot og Spe for alle de Folk, HERREN fører dig hen til.
38 Seed much you will take out the field and little you will gather for it will consume it the locust[s].
Udsæd i Mængde skal du bringe ud på Marken, men kun høste lidt, thi Græshopperne skal fortære den;
39 Vineyards you will plant and you will labor and wine not you will drink and not you will gather for it will eat it the worm[s].
Vingårde skal du plante og dyrke, men Vin skal du ikke komme til at drikke eller oplagre, thi Ormene skal opæde Druen;
40 Olive trees they will belong to you in all territory your and oil not you will anoint yourself for it will drop off olive[s] your.
Oliventræer skal du have overalt i dit Land, men med Olie skal du ikke komme til at salve dig, thi dine Oliven skal falde. af.
41 Sons and daughters you will father and not they will belong to you for they will go in captivity.
Sønner og Døtre skal du avle, men du skal ikke beholde dem, thi de skal gå i Fangenskab.
42 Every tree your and [the] fruit of ground your it will take possession of the locust[s].
Alle dine Træer og dit Lands Afgrøde skal Insekterne bemægtige sig.
43 The sojourner who [is] in midst your he will go up above you up-wards up-wards and you you will go down downwards downwards.
Den fremmede, som er hos dig, skal hæve sig op over dig, højere og højere, men du skal synke dybere og dybere.
44 He he will lend to you and you not you will lend to him he he will become [the] head and you you will become into [the] tail.

46 And they will become among you a sign and a wonder and among offspring your until perpetuity.

47 Because that not you have served Yahweh God your with joy and with goodness of heart from [the] abundance of everything.
Eftersom du ikke vilde tjene HERREN din Gud med Fryd og Hjertens Glæde, fordi du havde Overflod på alt,
48 And you will serve enemies your whom he will send forth him Yahweh on you in hunger and in thirst and in nakedness and in lack of everything and he will put a yoke of iron on neck your until has destroyed he you.
skal du komme til at tjene dine Fjender, som HERREN vil sende imod dig, under Hunger og Tørst, Nøgenhed og Mangel på alt; han skal lægge Jernåg på din Nakke, indtil de har lagt dig øde.
49 He will raise up Yahweh on you a nation from a distance from [the] end of the earth just as it swoops down eagle a nation which not you will understand language its.
HERREN skal opbyde imod dig et Folk fra det fjerne, fra Jordens yderste Ende, et Folk med Ørnens Flugt, et Folk, hvis Sprog dut ikke forstår,
50 A nation fierce of face which not it will lift up face for an old [person] and a youth not it will show favor to.

51 And it will devour [the] fruit of livestock your and [the] fruit of ground your until being destroyed you which not it will leave to you grain new wine and fresh oil [the] young of cattle your and [the] young ones of sheep your until destroys it you.
det skal opæde dit Kvægs og din Jords Frugt, indtil du er lagt øde; det skal ikke levne dig Korn, Most eller Olie, tillæg af dine Okser eller Yngel af dit Småkvæg, indtil det har tilintetgjort dig;
52 And it will lay siege to you in all gates your until come down walls your high and fortified which you [are] trusting in them in all land your and it will lay siege to you in all gates your in all land your which he has given Yahweh God your to you.
det skal belejre dig i alle dine Byer, indtil dine høje, stærke Mure, som du stoler på, er styrtet sammen overalt i dit Land; det skal besejre dig overalt inden dine Porte overalt i dit Land, som HERREN din Gud giver dig.
53 And you will eat [the] fruit of womb your [the] flesh of sons your and daughters your whom he has given to you Yahweh God your in [the] siege and in [the] distress which he will bring distress to you enemy your.
Og du skal fortære din Livsfrugt, Kødet af dine Sønner og Døtre, som HERREN din Gud giver dig, under den Trængsel og Nød, din Fjende bringer over dig;
54 The man gentle among you and delicate very it will be evil eye his on brother his and on [the] wife of bosom his and on [the] remainder of children his which it will remain.
selv den mest forvænte og blødagtige af dine Mænd skal se skævt til sin Broder, til sin Hustru, der hviler i hans Favn, og til de sidste Sønner, han har tilbage,
55 From giving - to one from them any of [the] flesh of children his whom he will eat because not he has left to him anything in [the] siege and in [the] distress which he will bring distress to you enemy your in all gates your.

56 The gentle [woman] among you and the delicate [woman] who not she has attempted [the] sole of foot her to place on the ground because was delicate and from gentleness it will be evil eye her on [the] husband of bosom her and on son her and on daughter her.
Og den mest forvænte og blødagtige af dine Kvinder, som aldrig har prøvet at træde med sin Fod på jorden for Blødagtighed og Forvænthed, skal se skævt til sin Mand, der hviler i hendes Favn, og til sin Søn og Datter,
57 And on afterbirth her which goes forth - from between feet her and on children her whom she will bear for she will eat them in lack of everything in secrecy in [the] siege and in [the] distress which he will bring distress to you enemy your in gates your.

58 If not you will take care to observe all [the] words of the law this which are written in the book this to fear the name glorious and awesome this Yahweh God your.
Hvis du ikke omhyggeligt handler efter alle denne Lovs Ord, som står skrevet i denne Bog, og frygter dette herlige og forfærdelige Navn, HERREN din Gud,
59 And he will make extraordinary Yahweh plagues your and [the] plagues of offspring your plagues great and lasting and sicknesses harmful and lasting.
så skal HERREN sende uhørte Plager over dig og dit Afkom, svare og vedholdende Plager og ondartede, vedholdende Sygdomme,
60 And he will bring back on you every disease of Egypt which you were afraid of them and they will cling to you.

61 Also every sickness and every plague which not [is] written in [the] book of the law this he will bring up them Yahweh on you until being destroyed you.

62 And you will be left men of fewness in place of that you were like [the] stars of the heavens for multitude for not you have listened to [the] voice of Yahweh God your.

Og ligesom HERREN før havde sin Glæde af at gøre vel imod eder og gøre eder mangfoldige, således skal HERREN da have sin Glæde af at tilintetgøre eder og lægge eder øde, og t skal drives bort fra det Land, du nu skal ind og tage i Besiddelse.
64 And he will scatter you Yahweh among all the peoples from [the] end of the earth and to [the] end of the earth and you will serve there gods other which not you have known you and ancestors your wood and stone.
HERREN skal adsplitte dig blandt alle Folkeslagene fra den ene Ende af Jorden til den anden, og der skal du dyrke fremmede Guder, som hverken du eller dine Fædre før kendte til, Træ og Sten;
65 And among the nations those not you will rest and not it will belong a resting place to [the] sole of foot your and he will give Yahweh to you there a heart trembling and failing of eyes and despair of being.
og blandt disse Folk skal du ikke få Ro eller finde Hvile for din Fod; thi der skal HERREN give dig et skælvende Hjerte, udtærede Øjne og en vansdsmægtende Sjæl.
66 And they will be life your hung up for you from in front and you will be in dread night and by day and not you will trust in life your.
Det skal syne, s dig, som hang dit Liv i en Tråd; du skal ængstes ved Dag og ved Nat og aldrig føle dig sikker på dit Liv.
67 In the morning you will say who? will he give evening and in the evening you will say who? will he give morning from [the] dread of heart your which you will dread and from [the] sight[s] of eyes your which you will see.
Om Morgenen skal du sige: "Gid det var Aften!" Og om Aftenen: "Gid det var Morgen!" Sådan Angst skal du gribes af, og så forfærdeligt bliver det, dine Øjne får at se.
68 And he will make return you Yahweh - Egypt in ships by the way which I said to you not you will repeat again to see it and you will sell yourselves there to enemies your to [male] slaves and to female slaves and there not [will be] a buyer.
Og HERREN skal føre dig tilbage til Ægypten på Skibe, ad den Vej, som jeg lovede dig, du aldrig mere skulde få at se; og der skal I stille eder til Salg for eders Fjender som Trælle og Trælkvinder, men der skal ingen være, som vil købe eder!
