Deuteronomy 26

1 And it will be that you will go into the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you an inheritance and you will take possession of it and you will dwell in it.

Lorsque tu seras entré en la terre que le Seigneur ton Dieu te donne en héritage, et que tu l'auras partagée, et que tu y seras établi,

2 And you will take some of [the] first of - all [the] fruit of the ground which you will bring in from land your which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you and you will put [it] in the basket and you will go to the place where he will choose Yahweh God your to cause to dwell name his there.

Tu prendras des prémices des fruits de la terre que le Seigneur ton Dieu te donne, et tu les déposeras en des corbeilles, et tu iras au lieu que le Seigneur ton Dieu aura choisi pour que son nom y soit invoqué,

3 And you will go to the priest who he will be in the days those and you will say to him I declare this day to Yahweh God your that I have come into the land which he swore Yahweh to ancestors our to give to us.

Et tu iras trouver le prêtre de ces temps-là, et tu lui diras: J'atteste aujourd'hui au Seigneur mon Dieu que je suis entré en la terre que le Seigneur mon Dieu a promis à nos pères de nous donner.

4 And he will take the priest the basket from hand your and he will set down it before [the] altar of Yahweh God your.

Et le prêtre prendra de tes mains la corbeille, et il la posera sur l'autel du Seigneur ton Dieu,

5 And you will answer and you will say before - Yahweh God your [was] an Aramean wandering ancestor my and he went down Egypt towards and he sojourned there men of fewness and he became there a nation great mighty and numerous.

Et il prendra la parole pour toi, et il dira devant le Seigneur ton Dieu: Mon père a quitté la Syrie, et il est descendu en Egypte; il y est entré peu nombreux, et il y est devenu une grande nation, une innombrable multitude.

6 And they did harm to us the Egyptians and they afflicted us and they put on us labor hard.

Et les Egyptiens nous maltraitèrent, ils nous humilièrent; ils nous imposèrent de durs travaux.

7 And we cried out to Yahweh [the] God of ancestors our and he heard Yahweh voice our and he saw affliction our and toil our and oppression our.

Et nous invoquâmes le Seigneur notre Dieu; il nous entendit, il vit notre humiliation, nos labeurs, notre oppression.

8 And he brought out us Yahweh from Egypt by a hand strong and by an arm outstretched and by terror great and by signs and by wonders.

Et le Seigneur lui-même nous fit sortir d'Egypte, par sa grande force, par sa main puissante, par son bras très-haut, par de grandes merveilles, des signes et des prodiges.

9 And he brought us to the place this and he gave to us the land this a land flowing of milk and honey.

Et il nous a conduits en ce lieu; il nous a donné cette terre, terre ou coulent le lait et le miel.

10 And therefore here! I have brought [the] first of [the] fruit of the ground which you have given to me O Yahweh and you will set down it before Yahweh God your and you will bow down before Yahweh God your.

Et maintenant j'offre les premiers fruits de la terre que vous m'avez donnée, Seigneur, terre où coulent le lait et le miel. Puis, tu laisseras ces prémices devant le Seigneur ton Dieu, et tu te prosterneras devant le Seigneur ton Dieu.

11 And you will rejoice in all the good which he has given to you Yahweh God your and to household your you and the Levite and the sojourner who [is] in midst your.

Et tu te réjouiras de tous les biens que le Seigneur ton Dieu t'aura donnés, et avec toi toute ta famille, et le lévite, et l'étranger établi parmi vous.

12 If you will finish to tithe all [the] tithe of produce your in the year third [the] year of the tithe and you will give [it] to the Levite to the sojourner to the fatherless one and to the widow and they will eat in gates your and they will be satisfied.

Et lorsque, dans la troisième année, tu auras fini de donner toute dîme de tes fruits, tu donneras une seconde dîme au lévite, à l'étranger, à l'orphelin et à la veuve, et ils mangeront dans tes villes, et ils se réjouiront.

13 And you will say before Yahweh God your I have removed the holy thing from the house and also I have given it to the Levite and to the sojourner to the fatherless one and to the widow according to all commandment your which you have commanded me not I have transgressed any of commandments your and not I have forgotten [them].

Et tu diras au Seigneur: J'ai pris dans ma maison ces choses saintes, je les ai données au lévite, à l'étranger, à l'orphelin, à la veuve; j'ai fait selon vos commandements, je ne les ai point transgresses, je n'en ai rien oublié.

14 Not I have eaten in mourning my any of it and not I have removed any of it unclean and not I have given any of it to [the] dead I have listened to [the] voice of Yahweh God my I have done according to all that you have commanded me.

Et, dans le deuil, je n'ai rien mangé de ces choses saintes, je n'ai rien offert d'impur; je n'en ai rien consacré à un mort; j'ai obéi à la parole du Seigneur mon Dieu, j'ai fait ce que vous m'avez prescrit.

15 Look down! from [the] habitation of holiness your from the heavens and bless people your Israel and the land which you have given to us just as you swore to ancestors our a land flowing of milk and honey.

Voyez-moi, du ciel votre demeure, bénissez Israël votre peuple et la terre que vous lui avez donnée, comme vous l''avez promis à nos pères, cette terre où coulent le lait et le miel.

16 The day this Yahweh God your [is] commanding you to observe the statutes these and the judgments and you will take care and you will observe them with all heart your and with all being your.

En ces jours-là, le Seigneur ton Dieu t'a commandé d'exécuter les commandements, les jugements et les ordonnances de justice; observe-les donc, et exécute-les de tout ton cœur et de toute ton âme.

17 Yahweh you have declared this day to become for you God and to walk in ways his and to keep statutes his and commandments his and judgments his and to listen to voice his.

Tu as pris Dieu pour ton Dieu, et afin de marcher en toutes ses voies, d'observer ses commandements, et d'obéir à sa parole.

18 And Yahweh he has declared you this day to become for him a people of possession just as he spoke to you and to keep all commandments his.

Et le Seigneur t'a pris pour que tu sois son propre peuple, comme il te l'a dit, et pour que tu observes ses commandements,

19 And to set you most high above all the nations which he has made for praise and for a name and for honor and to be you a people holy to Yahweh God your just as he spoke.

Et pour que tu sois au-dessus des autres nations, autant qu'il t'a élevé en renom, en célébrité et en gloire, et pour que tu sois le peuple saint du Seigneur ton Dieu, comme il l'a dit.
