Deuteronomy 24
1 If he will take a man a woman and he will marry her and it will be if not she will find favor in view his for he has found in her [the] nakedness of a thing and he will write for her a document of divorce and he will give [it] in hand her and he will send away her from house his.
Dersom en mann tar sig en hustru og ekter henne, og hun ikke tekkes ham lenger, fordi han har funnet noget hos henne som byr ham imot, og han da skriver henne et skilsmissebrev og gir henne det i hånden og sender henne bort fra sitt hus,
2 And she will go out from house his and she will go and she will belong to a man another.
og hun, efter å ha flyttet fra ham, går bort og ekter en annen mann,
3 And he will hate her the man latter and he will write for her a document of divorce and he will give [it] in hand her and he will send away her from house his or if he will die the man latter who he has taken her for himself to a wife.
og denne annen mann får uvilje mot henne og skriver henne et skilsmissebrev og gir henne det i hånden og sender henne bort fra sitt hus, eller dersom den annen mann som har tatt henne til hustru, dør,
4 Not he will be able husband her former who he sent away her to return to take her to become of him wife after that she has been declared unclean for [is] an abomination that before Yahweh and not you will cause to sin the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you an inheritance.
da må ikke hennes første mann, som sendte henne fra sig, ta henne til hustru igjen, efterat hun er blitt uren; for det er en vederstyggelighet for Herrens åsyn, og du skal ikke føre synd over det land Herren din Gud gir dig til arv.
5 If he will take man a wife new not he will go out with the army and not it will pass on him to any thing free he will be to house his a year one and he will cause to rejoice wife his whom he has taken.
Når en mann nylig har tatt sig en hustru, da skal han ikke dra ut i strid, heller ikke skal det legges nogen annen byrde på ham; han skal være fri et år til beste for sitt hus og til glede for hustruen som han har ektet.
6 Not anyone will take as pledge a hand-mill and an upper millstone for a life that [is] taking as pledge.
Ingen må ta en håndkvern eller en kvernsten i pant; for da tar han livet i pant.
7 If he will be found anyone stealing a person any of countrymen his any of [the] people of Israel and he will treat as a slave him and he will sell him and he will die the thief that and you will remove the evil from midst your.
Kommer du over en mann som stjeler nogen av sine brødre blandt Israels barn og gjør ham til træl eller selger ham, da skal denne tyv dø; således skal du rydde det onde bort av din midte.
8 Take heed to [the] plague of serious skin disease to take care exceedingly and to do according to all that they will instruct you the priests the Levites just as I commanded them you will take care to do.
Ta dig i akt for spedalskhetssyken, så du nøie varetar og gjør alt det de levittiske prester lærer eder! Således som jeg har befalt dem, skal I gi akt på å gjøre.
9 Remember [that] which he did Yahweh God your to Miriam on the way when came out you from Egypt.
Kom i hu hvad Herren din Gud gjorde med Mirjam på veien, da I drog ut av Egypten!
10 If you will lend to neighbor your a loan of anything not you will go into house his to take as pledge pledge his.
Når du låner din næste noget, skal du ikke gå inn i hans hus for å hente det pant han skal gi.
11 On the outside you will stand and the person whom you [are] lending to him he will bring out to you the pledge the outside towards.
Du skal bli stående utenfor, og den mann du låner til, skal komme ut til dig med pantet.
12 And if [is] a person poor he not you will lie down in pledge his.
Og dersom det er en fattig mann, så skal du ikke legge dig til å sove med hans pant;
13 Certainly you will return to him the pledge when goes the sun and he will lie down in garment his and he will bless you and to you it will belong righteousness before Yahweh God your.
du skal gi ham pantet tilbake når solen går ned, forat han kan legge sig i sin kappe og velsigne dig; og det skal tjene dig til rettferdighet for Herrens, din Guds åsyn.
14 Not you must oppress a hired laborer poor and needy one of countrymen your or one of sojourner[s] your who [is] in land your in gates your.
Du skal ikke gjøre urett mot en nødlidende og fattig dagarbeider, enten han er en av dine brødre eller en av de fremmede som bor i ditt land, rundt om i dine byer;
15 On day its you will pay wage[s] his and not it will go on him the sun for [is] poor he and to it he [is] lifting up desire his and not he will call out on you to Yahweh and it will be on you sin.
på dagen skal du gi ham hans lønn, og før solen går ned; for han er fattig og stunder efter sin lønn; ellers kunde han rope over dig til Herren, og du få synd på dig.
16 Not they will be put to death parents on children and children not they will be put to death on parents (anyone *L(abh)*) for own sin his they will be put to death.
Foreldre skal ikke lide døden for sine barns skyld, og barn ikke lide døden for sine foreldres skyld; enhver skal lide døden for sin egen synd.
17 Not you will turn aside [the] justice of a sojourner a fatherless one and not you will take as pledge [the] garment of a widow.
Du skal ikke bøie retten for en fremmed eller en farløs, og du skal ikke ta en enkes klær i pant.
18 And you will remember that a slave you were in Egypt and he redeemed you Yahweh God your from there there-fore I [am] commanding you to do the thing this.
Du skal komme i hu at du var træl i Egypten, og at Herren din Gud fridde dig ut derfra; derfor byder jeg dig å gjøre således.
19 If you will harvest harvest your in field your and you will forget a sheaf in the field not you will return to fetch it to the sojourner to the fatherless one and to the widow it will belong so that he may bless you Yahweh God your in all [the] work of hands your.
Når du høster inn kornet på din aker, og du glemmer et kornbånd på akeren, da skal du ikke vende tilbake for å hente det; den fremmede, den farløse og enken skal ha det; så skal Herren din Gud velsigne dig i alt det du tar dig fore.
20 If you will beat olive tree your not you will go over [the] boughs behind you to the sojourner to the fatherless one and to the widow it will belong.
Når du slår dine oliven ned, skal du ikke bakefter gjennemsøke grenene; den fremmede, den farløse og enken skal ha det.
21 For you will gather grapes vineyard your not you will glean behind you to the sojourner to the fatherless one and to the widow it will belong.
Når du høster din vingård, skal du ikke holde eftersanking; den fremmede, den farløse og enken skal ha det.
22 And you will remember that a slave you were in [the] land of Egypt there-fore I [am] commanding you to do the thing this.
Du skal komme i hu at du var træl i Egyptens land; derfor byder jeg dig å gjøre således.
