Deuteronomy 23
1 Not he will go [one who] is wounded of crushing and [one who] is cut off of penis in [the] assembly of Yahweh.
“Một người có tinh hoàn bị dập hay dương vật bị cắt thì không được vào cộng đồng dân Chúa Hằng Hữu.
2 Not he will go a bastard in [the] assembly of Yahweh also a generation tenth not it will go of him in [the] assembly of Yahweh.
Một người con hoang không được vào cộng đồng dân Chúa Hằng Hữu. Con cháu người này dù đến đời thứ mười cũng không được vào.
3 Not he will go an Ammonite and a Moabite in [the] assembly of Yahweh also a generation tenth not it will go of them in [the] assembly of Yahweh until perpetuity.
Người Am-môn, người Mô-áp không được vào cộng đồng dân Chúa Hằng Hữu. Con cháu họ dù đến đời thứ mười cũng không được vào.
4 On [the] thing that not they met you with food and with water on the way when came out you from Egypt and that he hired on you Balaam [the] son of Beor from Pethor Aram Naharaim to curse you.
Vì họ đã không mang thực phẩm, nước uống ra tiếp đón Ít-ra-ên, khi anh em mới từ Ai Cập ra đi. Họ còn mướn Ba-la-am, con Bê-ô, người Phê-thô-rơ xứ A-ram Na-ha-ra-im, đi nguyền rủa anh em.
5 And not he was willing Yahweh God your to listen to Balaam and he turned Yahweh God your for you the curse into blessing for he loved you Yahweh God your.
Tuy nhiên, Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của anh em, đâu có nghe Ba-la-am, Ngài đã biến lời nguyền rủa ra lời chúc phước, vì Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của anh em, yêu thương anh em.
6 Not you will seek peace their and good their all days your for ever.
Đừng bao giờ giúp họ kiến tạo hòa bình, thịnh vượng.
7 Not you will abhor an Edomite for [is] relative your he. Not you will abhor an Egyptian for a sojourner you were in land his.
Đối với người Ê-đôm, không được khinh ghét, vì họ là anh em của anh em. Cũng đừng khinh ghét người Ai Cập, vì anh em đã kiều ngụ trong nước họ.
8 Children who they will be born to them a generation third it will go of them in [the] assembly of Yahweh.
Cháu đời thứ ba của họ được phép vào cộng đồng dân Chúa Hằng Hữu.”
9 If you will go out a camp on enemies your and you will keep yourself from every thing evil.
“Trong lúc chiến tranh với quân thù, phải gìn giữ doanh trại cho được tinh khiết.
10 If he will be among you a man who not he will be clean from a happening of night and he will go out to from [the] outside of the camp not he will come into [the] middle of the camp.
Nếu có ai bị mộng tinh, không được vào trại.
11 And it will be to [the] turning of evening he will wash with water and just as goes the sun he will come into [the] middle of the camp.
Đến chiều, người ấy phải tắm rửa sạch sẽ, và chỉ vào lại doanh trại lúc mặt trời lặn.
12 And a hand it will belong to you from [the] outside of the camp and you will go out there towards outside.
Dành một khu vực bên ngoài doanh trại để đi vệ sinh.
13 And a spade it will belong to you with equipment your and it will be when sitting down you outside and you will dig with it and you will turn and you will cover excrement your.
Mỗi người phải có một xuổng con trong bộ dụng cụ cá nhân của mình mang theo. Khi đi đại tiện, phải đào lỗ, xong phải lấp đất lại.
14 For Yahweh God your [is] walking back and forth - in [the] midst of camp your to deliver you and to deliver up enemies your before you and it will be camps your holy and not he will see among you [the] nakedness of a thing and he will turn away from after you.
Vậy, doanh trại phải được thánh, vì Chúa đi giữa doanh trại để cứu giúp anh em, làm cho kẻ thù bại trận. Nếu doanh trại ô uế, Ngài sẽ bỏ đi.
15 Not you will deliver up a slave to master his who he will deliver himself to you from with master his.
Nếu có một người nô lệ trốn khỏi nhà chủ chạy đến với anh em, không được giao trả người ấy cho chủ.
16 With you let him remain in midst your in the place which he will choose in one of gates your in the good [place] to him not you will maltreat him.
Phải cho người ấy ở với anh em, tại thành nào tùy ý người ấy chọn, không được bạc đãi.
17 Not she will be a female cult prostitute any of [the] daughters of Israel and not he will be a male cult prostitute any of [the] sons of Israel.
Trong toàn dân Ít-ra-ên không được có mãi dâm nam hay mãi dâm nữ.
18 Not you will bring [the] price of a prostitute and [the] hire of a dog [the] house of Yahweh God your for any vow for [are] [the] abomination of Yahweh God your also both of them.
Không được đem tiền công của họ vào nhà của Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của anh em, vì Ngài ghê tởm cả hai thứ này.
19 Not you will charge interest to countryman your interest of money interest of food interest of any thing which someone will pay interest.
Không được cho anh em mình vay lấy lãi, dù cho vay tiền, thức ăn hay bất cứ vật gì khác.
20 To the foreigner you will charge interest and to countryman your not you will charge interest so that he may bless you Yahweh God your in every undertaking of hand your on the land where you [are] about to go there towards to take possession of it.
Đối với người ngoại quốc, anh em được phép cho vay lấy lãi, nhưng không được lấy lãi người Ít-ra-ên. Như vậy, Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của anh em, sẽ ban phước cho anh em trong đất hứa.
21 If you will vow a vow to Yahweh God your not you will delay to pay it for certainly he will require it Yahweh God your from with you and it will be on you sin.
Khi hứa nguyện điều gì với Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của anh em, phải làm theo điều mình đã hứa nguyện, phải dâng vật mình đã hứa. Vì Chúa đòi hỏi anh em thực hiện lời hứa nguyện mình. Nếu không, anh em mang tội.
22 And if you will refrain to make a vow not it will be on you sin.
Nhưng nếu anh em dè dặt, không hứa nguyện, như thế không phải là tội.
23 [the] utterance of Lips your you will take care and you will do just as you have vowed to Yahweh God your voluntariness [that] which you have spoken with mouth your.
Khi hứa nguyện rồi, phải thận trọng làm theo lời mình, vì anh em đã tự ý hứa nguyện với Chúa Hằng Hữu, Đức Chúa Trời của anh em.
24 If you will go in [the] vineyard of neighbor your and you will eat grapes according to appetite your satiety your and into vessel your not you will put [them].
Khi vào vườn nho của người láng giềng, anh em có thể ăn bao nhiêu cũng được, tùy ý, nhưng không được hái đem về.
25 If you will go in [the] standing grain of neighbor your and you will pluck off ears of corn with hand your and a sickle not you will wield on [the] standing grain of neighbor your.
Cũng thế, khi vào đồng lúa của người láng giềng, anh em được lấy tay ngắt lúa, chứ không được dùng lưỡi liềm cắt lúa.”
