Deuteronomy 17
1 Not you will sacrifice to Yahweh God your an ox and a sheep which it will be in it a blemish any thing bad for [is] [the] abomination of Yahweh God your that.
Du maa ikke ofre HERREN din Gud en Okse eller et Stykke Smaakvæg, som har nogen Lyde, nogen som helst Fejl; thi det er HERREN din Gud en Vederstyggelighed.
2 If he will be found in midst your in one of gates your which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you a man or a woman who he will do the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh God your by transgressing covenant his.
Naar der et steds i din Midte inden dine Porte, som HERREN din Gud vil give dig, findes nogen, Mand eller Kvinde, der gør, hvad der er ondt i HERREN din Guds Øjne, og overtræder hans Pagt,
3 And he has gone and he has served gods other and he has bowed down to them and to the sun - or to the moon or to all [the] host of the heavens which not I have commanded.
idet han gaar hen og dyrker andre Guder og tilbeder dem, Solen, Maanen eller Himmelens hele Hær, hvad jeg ikke har paalagt eder,
4 And it will be told to you and you will hear and you will investigate thoroughly and there! truth [is] certain the matter it has been done the abomination this in Israel.
og det bliver dig meldt, saa du faar det at høre, da skal du omhyggeligt undersøge Sagen, og hvis det viser sig, at det virkelig forholder sig saaledes, at der er øvet en saadan Vederstyggelighed i Israel,
5 And you will bring out the man that or the woman that who they have done the thing evil this to gates your the man or the woman and you will stone them with stones and they will die.
da skal du føre Manden eller Kvinden, som har øvet denne Udaad, ud til Byporten, hvad enten det nu er en Mand eller en Kvinde, og stene dem til Døde.
6 On [the] mouth of - two witnesses or three witnesses he will be put to death the [one who] dies not he will be put to death on [the] mouth of a witness one.
Paa to eller tre Vidners Udsagn skal Dødsdommen udføres; den maa ikke udføres paa et enkelt Vidnes Udsagn.
7 [the] hand of The witnesses it will be on him at the first to put to death him and [the] hand of all the people at the last and you will remove the evil from midst your.
Vidnernes Haand skal først løfte sig imod ham for at slaa ham ihjel, siden alle de andres Haand. Saaledes skal du udrydde det onde af din Midte.
8 If it will be [too] difficult for you a matter for judgment between blood - and blood between dispute and dispute and between wound and wound matters of cases at law in gates your and you will arise and you will go up to the place which he will choose Yahweh God your it.
Naar en Retssag angaaende Blodsudgydelse eller et Ejendomsspørgsmaal eller Legemsskade, naar i det hele en eller anden Retstrætte inden dine Porte er dig for vanskelig, skal du staa op og drage til det Sted, HERREN din Gud udvælger,
9 And you will go to the priests the Levites and to the judge who he will be in the days those and you will enquire and they will tell to you [the] word of the verdict.
og henvende dig til Levitpræsterne og den Dommer, som er der til den Tid, og spørge dem til Raads, saa skal de give dig til Kende, hvorledes der skal dømmes i Sagen.
10 And you will do on [the] mouth of the word which they will tell to you from the place that which he will choose Yahweh and you will take care to do according to all that they will instruct you.
Og du skal rette dig efter den Afgørelse, de giver dig til Kende fra det Sted, HERREN udvælger, og omhyggeligt handle efter alt det, som de lærer dig.
11 On [the] mouth of the instruction which they will instruct you and on the verdict which they will say to you you will do not you will turn aside from the word which they will tell to you right [hand] and left [hand].
Efter den Vejledning, de giver dig, og efter den Kendelse, de kundgør dig, skal du handle uden at vige til højre eller venstre fra, hvad de giver dig til Kende.
12 And the person who he will act with presumption to not to listen to the priest who stands to serve there Yahweh God your or to the judge and he will die the person that and you will remove the evil from Israel.
Og den Mand, der formaster sig til ikke at lyde Præsten, som gør Tjeneste der for HERREN din Gud, eller Dommeren, den Mand skal dø, og du skal udrydde det onde af Israel.
13 And all the people they will hear and they may fear and not they will act presumptuously! again.
Og det skal høres i hele Folket, saa de gribes af Frygt og ikke mere handler formasteligt.
14 If you will go into the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you and you will take possession of it and you will dwell in it and you will say let me appoint over myself a king like all the nations which [are] around me.
Naar du kommer ind i det Land, HERREN din Gud vil give dig, og faar taget det i Besiddelse og fæstet Bo der, og du saa faar den Tanke, at du vil have en Konge over dig ligesom alle de andre Folk rundt om dig,
15 Indeed you will appoint over yourself a king whom he will choose Yahweh God your him from [the] midst of countrymen your you will appoint over yourself a king not you will be able to set over yourself a man foreign who not [is] countryman your he.
saa maa du kun sætte den Mand til Konge over dig, som HERREN din Gud udvælger. Af dine Brødres Midte skal du tage dig en Konge. En fremmed, der ikke hører til dine Brødre, maa du ikke tage til Konge over dig.
16 Only not he will increase for himself horses and not he will make return the people Egypt towards so as to increase horse[s] and Yahweh he has said to you not you will repeat! to return on the way this again.
Kun maa han ikke holde mange Heste og sende Folket tilbage til Ægypten for at skaffe sig mange Heste; thi HERREN har jo sagt til eder: »I maa ikke mere vende tilbage ad den Vej!«
17 And not he will increase for himself wives and not it will turn aside heart his and silver and gold not he will increase for himself exceedingly.
Heller ikke maa han have mange Hustruer, for at hans Hjerte ikke skal forledes til Frafald, og han maa ikke samle sig Sølv og Guld i Overflod.
18 And it will be when sits he on [the] throne of kingdom his and he will write for himself copy of the law this on a scroll from to before the priests the Levites.
Naar han saa har sat sig paa Tronen, skal han skaffe sig en Afskrift af denne Lov hos Levitpræsterne;
19 And it will be with him and he will read it all [the] days of life his so that he may learn to fear Yahweh God his to keep all [the] words of the law this and the statutes these to do them.
og han skal have den hos sig og læse i den alle sine Levedage, at han kan lære at frygte HERREN sin Gud, saa han tager Vare paa alle denne Lovs Ord og paa disse Anordninger og holder dem,
20 To not to be high heart his more than countrymen his and to not to turn aside from the commandment right [hand] and left [hand] so that he may prolong days over kingdom his he and descendants his in [the] midst of Israel.
for at hans Hjerte ikke skal hovmode sig over hans Brødre eller vige til højre eller venstre fra Budet, at han og hans Sønner i lange Tider maa have Kongemagten i Israel.
