Deuteronomy 16

1 Keep [the] month of Abib and you will observe a passover to Yahweh God your for in [the] month of Abib he brought out you Yahweh God your from Egypt night.

Observe le mois des épis, et célèbre la Pâque en l’honneur de l’Éternel, ton Dieu; car c’est dans le mois des épis que l’Éternel, ton Dieu, t’a fait sortir d’Égypte, pendant la nuit.

2 And you will sacrifice a passover to Yahweh God your flock and herd in the place where he will choose Yahweh to cause to dwell name his there.

Tu sacrifieras la Pâque à l’Éternel, ton Dieu, tes victimes de menu et de gros bétail, dans le lieu que l’Éternel choisira pour y faire résider son nom.

3 Not you will eat with it leaven seven days you will eat with it unleavened bread bread of affliction for in haste you came out from [the] land of Egypt so that you may remember [the] day of coming out you from [the] land of Egypt all [the] days of life your.

Pendant la fête, tu ne mangeras pas du pain levé, mais tu mangeras sept jours des pains sans levain, du pain d’affliction, car c’est avec précipitation que tu es sorti du pays d’Égypte: il en sera ainsi, afin que tu te souviennes toute ta vie du jour où tu es sorti du pays d’Égypte.

4 And not it will be seen by you leaven in all territory your seven days and not it will remain overnight any of the meat which you will sacrifice in the evening on the day first to the morning.

On ne verra point chez toi de levain, dans toute l’étendue de ton pays, pendant sept jours; et aucune partie des victimes que tu sacrifieras le soir du premier jour ne sera gardée pendant la nuit jusqu’au matin.

5 Not you will be able to sacrifice the passover in one of gates your which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you.

Tu ne pourras point sacrifier la Pâque dans l’un quelconque des lieux que l’Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne pour demeure;

6 That except to the place which he will choose Yahweh God your to cause to dwell name his there you will sacrifice the passover in the evening when goes the sun [the] time of coming out you from Egypt.

mais c’est dans le lieu que choisira l’Éternel, ton Dieu, pour y faire résider son nom, que tu sacrifieras la Pâque, le soir, au coucher du soleil, à l’époque de ta sortie d’Égypte.

7 And you will cook [it] and you will eat [it] in the place which he will choose Yahweh God your it and you will turn in the morning and you will go to tents your.

Tu feras cuire la victime, et tu la mangeras dans le lieu que choisira l’Éternel, ton Dieu. Et le matin, tu pourras t’en retourner et t’en aller vers tes tentes.

8 Six days you will eat unleavened bread and [will be] on the day seventh an assembly to Yahweh God your not you will do work.

Pendant six jours, tu mangeras des pains sans levain; et le septième jour, il y aura une assemblée solennelle en l’honneur de l’Éternel, ton Dieu: tu ne feras aucun ouvrage.

9 Seven weeks you will count for yourself from when begins a sickle in the standing grain you will begin to count seven weeks.

Tu compteras sept semaines; dès que la faucille sera mise dans les blés, tu commenceras à compter sept semaines.

10 And you will observe a festival of weeks to Yahweh God your a sufficiency of a freewill offering of hand your which you will give just as he will bless you Yahweh God your.

Puis tu célébreras la fête des semaines, et tu feras des offrandes volontaires, selon les bénédictions que l’Éternel, ton Dieu, t’aura accordées.

11 And you will rejoice before - Yahweh God your you and son your and daughter your and [male] servant your and female servant your and the Levite who [is] in gates your and the sojourner and the fatherless one and the widow who [are] in midst your in the place where he will choose Yahweh God your to cause to dwell name his there.

Tu te réjouiras devant l’Éternel, ton Dieu, dans le lieu que l’Éternel, ton Dieu, choisira pour y faire résider son nom, toi, ton fils et ta fille, ton serviteur et ta servante, le Lévite qui sera dans tes portes, et l’étranger, l’orphelin et la veuve qui seront au milieu de toi.

12 And you will remember that a slave you were in Egypt and you will take care and you will observe the statutes these.

Tu te souviendras que tu as été esclave en Égypte, et tu observeras et mettras ces lois en pratique.

13 [the] festival of The booths you will observe yourself seven days when gathering you from threshing floor your and from wine-press your.

Tu célébreras la fête des tabernacles pendant sept jours, quand tu recueilleras le produit de ton aire et de ton pressoir.

14 And you will rejoice at festival your you and son your and daughter your and [male] servant your and female servant your and the Levite and the sojourner and the fatherless one and the widow who [are] in gates your.

Tu te réjouiras à cette fête, toi, ton fils et ta fille, ton serviteur et ta servante, et le Lévite, l’étranger, l’orphelin et la veuve qui seront dans tes portes.

15 Seven days you will celebrate a festival to Yahweh God your in the place which he will choose Yahweh for he will bless you Yahweh God your in all produce your and in all [the] work of hands your and you will be surely joyful.

Tu célébreras la fête pendant sept jours en l’honneur de l’Éternel, ton Dieu, dans le lieu que choisira l’Éternel; car l’Éternel, ton Dieu, te bénira dans toutes tes récoltes et dans tout le travail de tes mains, et tu te livreras entièrement à la joie.

16 Three times - in the year he will appear every male your with [the] presence of - Yahweh God your in the place which he will choose at [the] festival of the unleavened bread and at [the] festival of the weeks and at [the] festival of the booths and not he will appear with [the] presence of Yahweh emptily.

Trois fois par année, tous les mâles d’entre vous se présenteront devant l’Éternel, ton Dieu, dans le lieu qu’il choisira: à la fête des pains sans levain, à la fête des semaines, et à la fête des tabernacles. On ne paraîtra point devant l’Éternel les mains vides.

17 Anyone according to [the] gift of hand his according to [the] blessing of Yahweh God your which he has given to you.

Chacun donnera ce qu’il pourra, selon les bénédictions que l’Éternel, ton Dieu, lui aura accordées.

18 Judges and officials you will appoint for yourself in all gates your which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you for tribes your and they will judge the people judgment of righteousness.

Tu établiras des juges et des magistrats dans toutes les villes que l’Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne, selon tes tribus; et ils jugeront le peuple avec justice.

19 Not you will turn aside justice not you will pay regard to faces and not you will take a bribe for the bribe it makes blind [the] eyes of wise [people] so it may pervert [the] words of righteous [people].

Tu ne porteras atteinte à aucun droit, tu n’auras point égard à l’apparence des personnes, et tu ne recevras point de présent, car les présents aveuglent les yeux des sages et corrompent les paroles des justes.

20 Righteousness righteousness you will pursue so that you may live and you will take possession of the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you.

Tu suivras ponctuellement la justice, afin que tu vives et que tu possèdes le pays que l’Éternel, ton Dieu, te donne.

21 Not you will plant for yourself an Asherah pole any tree beside [the] altar of Yahweh God your which you will make for yourself.

Tu ne fixeras aucune idole de bois à côté de l’autel que tu élèveras à l’Éternel, ton Dieu.

22 And not you will set up for yourself a sacred pillar which he hates Yahweh God your.

Tu ne dresseras point des statues, qui sont en aversion à l’Éternel, ton Dieu.
