Deuteronomy 11
1 And you will love Yahweh God your and you will keep command his and statutes his and judgments his and commandments his all the days.
Ljubi, dakle, Jahvu, Boga svoga, i vrši u sve dane njegove naredbe, njegove zakone, uredbe i zapovijedi.
2 And you will know this day that - not children your who not they have known and who not they have seen [the] training of Yahweh God your greatness his hand his mighty and arm his outstretched.
Vi, a ne vaši sinovi, koji nisu ni upoznali ni vidjeli pouke Jahve, Boga vašega, danas ste se osvjedočili o njegovoj veličajnosti, o njegovoj moćnoj ruci, ispruženoj mišici,
3 And signs his and deeds his which he did in [the] midst of Egypt to Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt and to all land his.
o znamenjima njegovima i o djelima što ih učini usred Egipta na faraonu, kralju egipatskom, i na svoj zemlji njegovoj;
4 And which he did to [the] army of Egypt to horses its and to chariotry its when he caused to flow [the] water of [the] sea of reed[s] over faces their when pursued they after you and he destroyed them Yahweh until the day this.
što je učinio egipatskoj vojsci, njihovim konjima i kolima; kako ih je preplavio vodama Crvenog mora kad su vas progonili i kako ih je zatro do današnjeg dana;
5 And which he did to you in the wilderness until came you to the place this.
što je za vas radio u pustinji dok ne stigoste do ovoga mjesta;
6 And which he did to Dathan and to Abiram [the] sons of Eliab [the] son of Reuben when it opened the earth mouth its and it swallowed them and households their and tents their and all the substance which [was] at feet their in [the] midst of all Israel.
što je učinio s Datanom i Abiramom, sinovima Eliaba, Rubenova potomka, kad zemlja rastvori ralje svoje te ih proguta sred svega Izraela, njih i njihove obitelji, njihove šatore i sve što imahu.
7 For eyes your [are] the [ones which] saw all [the] work of Yahweh great which he did.
Vaše su oči vidjele sva ta velika djela što ih je Jahve učinio.
8 And you will keep all the commandment which I [am] commanding you this day so that you may be strong and you will go and you will take possession of the land where you [are] about to pass over there towards to take possession of it.
Zato držite sve zapovijedi što vam ih danas naređujem da budete jaki te uzmete u posjed zemlju u koju idete da je osvojite;
9 And so that you may prolong days on the land which he swore Yahweh to ancestors your to give to them and to offspring their a land flowing of milk and honey.
napokon, da dugo živite u zemlji za koju se zakleo Jahve ocima vašim da će je dati njima i njihovu potomstvu - zemlju kojom teče med i mlijeko.
10 For the land where you [are] about to go there towards to take possession of it not [is] like [the] land of Egypt it where you came out from there where you sowed seed your and you watered [it] with foot your like [the] garden of vegetable[s].
Jer zemlja u koju ideš da je zaposjedneš nije kao zemlja egipatska iz koje ste izašli, gdje si, posijavši sjeme, morao svoj usjev svojom nogom natapati kao što se natapa povrtnjak.
11 And the land where you [are] about to pass over there towards to take possession of it [is] a land of mountains and valleys to [the] rain of the heavens it drinks water.
Zemlja u koju idete da je zaposjednete zemlja je bregova i dolova i natapa je dažd nebeski;
12 A land which Yahweh God your [is] caring for it continually [the] eyes of Yahweh God your [are] on it from [the] beginning of the year and until [the] end of a year.
zemlja nad kojom Jahve, Bog tvoj, bdi; na kojoj oči Jahve, Boga tvoga, uvijek počivaju, od početka do svršetka godine.
13 And it will be certainly [if] you will obey commandments my which I [am] commanding you this day to love Yahweh God your and to serve him with all heart your and with all being your.
Zato, ako doista poslušate zapovijedi koje vam danas izdajem i budete ljubili Jahvu, Boga svoga, i služili mu svim srcem svojim i svom dušom svojom,
14 And I will give [the] rain of land your at appropriate time its autumn rain and spring rain and you will gather grain your and new wine your and fresh oil your.
davat ću vašoj zemlji kišu u pravo vrijeme: u jesen i u proljeće, i moći ćeš sabirati svoje žito, svoje vino i svoje ulje;
15 And I will give grass in field[s] your for cattle your and you will eat and you will be satisfied.
travu ću davati po tvome polju tvome blagu. Tako ćeš jesti i biti sit.
16 Take heed to yourselves lest it should be deceived heart your and you will turn aside and you will serve gods other and you will bow down to them.
Pazite da se vaše srce ne zavede, da ne pođete stranputicom, da drugim bogovima ne iskazujete štovanje i da im se ne klanjate.
17 And it will burn [the] anger of Yahweh on you and he will shut up the heavens and not it will come rain and the ground not it will yield produce its and you will perish quickly from on the land good which Yahweh [is] about to give to you.
Jer tada bi na vas Jahve usplamtio gnjevom: nebesa bi zatvorio; kiše ne bi bilo; zemlja ne bi davala roda i vas bi brzo nestalo s te dobre zemlje koju vam Jahve daje.
18 And you will put words my these on heart your and on being your and you will tie them for a sign on hand your and they will be for marks between eyes your.
Utisnite ove moje riječi u svoje srce i svoju dušu; kao znak ih privežite na svoju ruku; neka vam budu kao zapis među očima!
19 And you will teach them children your by speaking in them when sitting you in house your and when walking you on the road and when lying down you and when rising up you.
Poučite u njima svoje sinove; izgovarajte ih kad sjedite u svojoj kući i kad idete putem; kad liježete i kad ustajete.
20 And you will write them on [the] doorposts of house your and on gates your.
Ispišite ih na dovratnike svoje kuće i na svoja vrata
21 So that they may increase days your and [the] days of children your on the land which he swore Yahweh to ancestors your to give to them like [the] days of the heavens above the earth.
da vaši dani i dani vaših sinova u zemlji za koju se Jahve zakleo vašim ocima da će im je dati - budu brojni kao dani nebesa nad zemljom.
22 That except certainly you will keep! all the commandment this which I [am] commanding you to do it to love Yahweh God your to walk in all ways his and to cleave to him.
Ako budete vjerno držali sve ove zapovijedi koje vam naređujem, vršili ih i ljubili Jahvu, Boga svoga, hodili svim njegovim putovima i čvrsto se priljubili uz njega,
23 And he will dispossess Yahweh all the nations these from to before you and you will dispossess nations great and mighty more than you.
Jahve će ispred vas protjerati sve te narode i vi ćete s posjeda odagnati narode brojnije i jače od sebe.
24 Every place which it will tread [the] sole of foot your on it to you it will belong from the wilderness and Lebanon from the River [the] river of Euphrates and to the sea western it will be territory your.
Svako mjesto na koje stupi vaša noga bit će vaše; od pustinje i Libanona, od Rijeke, rijeke Eufrata, do Zapadnog mora sterat će se vaše područje.
25 Not he will stand anyone in faces your dread your and fear your he will put - Yahweh God your over [the] face of all the land which you will tread on it just as he spoke to you.
Nitko se neće održati pred vama; strah i trepet raširit će Jahve, Bog vaš, po svoj zemlji u koju stupite, kako vam je rekao.
26 See I [am] setting before you this day a blessing and a curse.
Gledajte! Nudim vam danas blagoslov i prokletstvo:
27 The blessing that you will obey [the] commandments of Yahweh God your which I [am] commanding you this day.
blagoslov, budete li slušali zapovijedi Jahve, Boga svoga, koje vam danas dajem;
28 And the curse if not you will obey [the] commandments of Yahweh God your and you will turn aside from the way which I [am] commanding you this day to walk after gods other which not you have known.
a prokletstvo, ne budete li slušali zapovijedi Jahve, Boga svoga, nego sađete s puta koji vam danas određujem te pođete za drugim bogovima kojih niste poznavali.
29 And it will be that he will bring you Yahweh God your into the land where you [are] about to go there towards to take possession of it and you will set the blessing on [the] mountain of Gerizim and the curse on [the] mountain of Ebal.
Kada te Jahve, Bog tvoj, uvede u zemlju u koju ideš da je zaposjedneš, tada nad gorom Gerizimom izreci blagoslov, a prokletstvo nad gorom Ebalom.
30 ¿ Not [are] they on [the] other side of the Jordan behind [the] direction of [the] setting of the sun in [the] land of the Canaanite[s] who is dwelling in the Arabah opposite to Gilgal beside [the] great trees of Moreh.
Te se gore izdižu, kako znate, s onu stranu Jordana, za putom prema zapadu, u zemlji Kanaanaca, koji žive u Arabi, nasuprot Gilgalu, uz Hrast More.
31 For you [are] about to pass over the Jordan to go to take possession of the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you and you will take possession of it and you will dwell in it.
Eto ćete prijeći preko Jordana da zaposjednete zemlju koju vam daje Jahve, Bog vaš. Zaposjednite je i nastanite se u njoj.
32 And you will take care to observe all the statutes and the judgments which I [am] setting before you this day.
Ali držite i vršite sve zakone i uredbe koje vam danas izlažem.
