Deuteronomy 10
1 At the time that he said Yahweh to me cut out for yourself two (tablets of *L(abh)*) stone like the former [tablets] and come up to me the mountain towards and you will make for yourself an ark of wood.
Ved denne Tid sagde HERREN til mig: »Tilhug dig to Stentavler ligesom de forrige og stig op til mig paa Bjerget; lav dig ogsaa en Ark af Træ!
2 So I may inscribe on the tablets the words which they were on the tablets former which you shattered and you will put them in the ark.
Saa vil jeg paa Tavlerne skrive de Ord, der stod paa de forrige Tavler, som du knuste, og du skal lægge dem ned i Arken!«
3 And I made an ark of wood of acacia and I cut out two tablets of stone like the former [tablets] and I went up the mountain towards and [the] two the tablets [were] in hand my.
Da lavede jeg en Ark af Akacietræ og tilhuggede to Stentavler ligesom de forrige og steg op paa Bjerget med de to Tavler i Haanden.
4 And he wrote on the tablets like the writing former [the] ten the words which he had spoken Yahweh to you on the mountain from [the] middle of the fire on [the] day of the assembly and he gave them Yahweh to me.
Og han skrev paa Tavlerne det samme, som var skrevet første Gang, de ti Ord, som HERREN havde talt til eder paa Bjerget ud fra Ilden, den Dag I var forsamlet. Og HERREN overgav mig dem.
5 And I turned and I came down from the mountain and I put the tablets in the ark which I had made and they have been there just as he commanded me Yahweh.
Saa vendte jeg mig bort og steg ned fra Bjerget og lagde Tavlerne i den Ark, jeg havde lavet, og der blev de liggende, som HERREN havde paalagt mig.
6 And [the] people of Israel they set out from Beeroth Bene-Yaaqan Moserah there he died Aaron and he was buried there and he served as priest Eleazar son his in place of him.
Og Israeliterne drog fra Be'erot-bene-Ja'akan til Mosera. Der døde Aron, og der blev han jordet, og hans Søn Eleazar blev Præst i hans Sted.
7 From there they set out Gudgodah towards and from Gudgodah towards Jotbathah a land of torrents of water.
Derfra drog de til Gudgoda og fra Gudgoda til Jotbata, en Egn med Vandløb.
8 At the time that he set apart Yahweh [the] tribe of the Levite[s] to carry [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh to stand before Yahweh to serve him and to bless in name his until the day this.
Paa den Tid udskilte HERREN Levis Stamme til at bære HERRENS Pagts Ark og til at staa for HERRENS Aasyn og tjene ham og velsigne i hans Navn, som det sker den Dag i Dag.
9 There-fore not it belongs to Levi a portion and an inheritance with brothers his Yahweh he [is] inheritance his just as he spoke Yahweh God your to him.
Derfor fik Levi ikke Arvelod og Del sammen med sine Brødre; HERREN selv er hans Arvelod, som HERREN din Gud lovede ham.
10 And I I remained on the mountain like the days former forty day[s] and forty night[s] and he listened Yahweh to me also at the time that not he was willing Yahweh to destroy you.
Men jeg blev paa Bjerget lige saa længe som forrige Gang, fyrretyve Dage og fyrretyve Nætter, og HERREN bønhørte mig ogsaa denne Gang; HERREN vilde ikke tilintetgøre dig.
11 And he said Yahweh to me arise go to journeying before the people so they may go and they may take possession of the land which I swore to ancestors their to give to them.
Da sagde HERREN til mig: »Rejs dig og bryd op i Spidsen for Folket, for at de kan komme og tage det Land i Besiddelse, jeg tilsvor deres Fædre at ville give dem!«
12 And now O Israel what? [is] Yahweh God your asking from with you that except to fear Yahweh God your to walk in all ways his and to love him and to serve Yahweh God your with all heart your and with all being your.
Og nu, Israel! Hvad andet kræver HERREN din Gud af dig, end at du skal frygte HERREN din Gud, saa du vandrer paa alle hans Veje, og at du skal elske ham og tjene HERREN din Gud af hele dit Hjerte og hele din Sjæl,
13 To keep [the] commandments of Yahweh and statutes his which I [am] commanding you this day for good of you.
saa du holder HERRENS Bud og Anordninger, som jeg i Dag paalægger dig, for at det maa gaa dig vel.
14 There! [belong] to Yahweh God your the heavens and [the] heavens of the heavens the earth and all that [is] in it.
Se, Himmelen og Himlenes Himle og Jorden med alt, hvad der er paa den, tilhører HERREN din Gud;
15 Only ancestors your he loved Yahweh to love them and he chose offspring their after them you from all the peoples as the day this.
men kun til dine Fædre fattede han Velbehag, saa han elskede dem, og eder, deres Afkom, udvalgte han af alle Folkeslag, som det nu er kendeligt.
16 And you will circumcise [the] foreskin of heart your and neck your not you will make stiff again.
Saa omskær nu eders Hjerters Forhud og gør ikke mer eders Nakker stive!
17 For Yahweh God your he [is] [the] God of the gods and [the] lord of the lords the God great mighty and awesome who not he lifts up face and not he takes a bribe.
Thi HERREN eders Gud er Gudernes Gud og Herrernes Herre, den store, vældige, forfærdelige Gud, som ikke viser Personsanseelse eller lader sig købe,
18 [he is] bringing about Judgment of a fatherless one and a widow and [he is] loving a sojourner to give to him food and clothing.
som skaffer den faderløse og Enken Ret og elsker den fremmede og giver ham Brød og klæder.
19 And you will love the sojourner for sojourners you were in [the] land of Egypt.
Derfor skal I elske den fremmede, thi I var selv fremmede i Ægypten.
20 Yahweh God your you will fear him you will serve and to him you will cleave and in name his you will swear oaths.
HERREN din Gud skal du frygte: ham skal du tjene, ved ham skal du holde fast, og ved hans Navn skal du sværge!
21 He [is] praise your and he [is] God your who he has done with you the great [things] and the awesome [deeds] these which they have seen eyes your.
Han er din Lovsang, og han er din Gud, han, som har gjort disse store og forfærdelige Ting imod dig, som du med egne Øjne har set!
22 Seventy person[s] they went down ancestors your (Egypt towards *L(abh)*) and now he has made you Yahweh God your like [the] stars of the heavens for multitude.
Halvfjerdsindstyve i Tal drog dine Fædre ned til Ægypten, og nu har HERREN din Gud gjort dig talrig som Himmelens Stjerner!
