< Daniel 8 >
1 In year three of [the] reign of Belshazzar the king a vision it appeared to me I Daniel after the [one] which it appeared to me at the beginning.
Ie amy taom-paha-telo’ i Belsatsare mpanjakay le nahatrea aroñaroñe nanonjohy i nitreako teoy, izaho Daniele.
2 And I saw in the vision and it was when saw I and I [was] in Susa the citadel which [is] in Elam the province and I saw in the vision and I I was at [the] canal of Ulai.
Añ’ aroñaroko ao, le nitreako t’ie an-kijoli’ i Sosane, am-paritane’ i Elame añe; tendrek’ amy aroñaroñey te añ’olo’ i saka Olaiý.
3 And I lifted up eyes my and I saw and there! - a ram one [was] standing before the canal and [belonged] to it two horns and the two horns [were] high and the one [was] high more than the second and the high [one] [was] growing up at the last.
Nampiandraeko maso vaho nitreako te ingo ty añondrilahy nijohañe marine i sakay ey, roe ty tsifa’e, le ndra t’ie niabo, nilikoatse ty haabo’ ty raike, i tsitso’ey ty niabo t’ie nitiry.
4 I saw the ram thrusting west-ward and north-ward and south-ward and any living creatures not they stood before it and there not [was one] delivering from hand its and it did according to pleasure its and it magnified itself.
Nitreako i añondrilahiy te namango nañandrefañe o tsifa’eo, naho nañavaratse, naho nañatimo vaho tsy eo ty biby nahafiatreatre aze, vaho tsy eo ty nahafitsoak’ an-taña’e; fa nanoe’e ze nisatri’e le nitoabotoabotse.
5 And I - I was observing and there! [the] he-goat of the goats [was] coming from the west over [the] surface of all the earth and not [it was] touching the earth and the he-goat a horn of conspicuousness [was] between eyes its.
Aa ie nitsakore iraho te ingo boak’ ahandrefañe añe ty oselahy nihelañe ambone’ ty tarehe’ ty tane-bey toy naho tsy nioza tane; nanan-tsifa raike ra’elahy añivo’ o maso’eo i oselahiy.
6 And it came to the ram [the] possessor of the two horns which I had seen standing before the canal and it ran against it in [the] rage of strength its.
Nimb’ amy añondrilahy aman-tsifa’e roe nitreako nijohañe aolo’ i sakay eiy re, vaho nihoridaña’e an-kaozarañe miforoforo.
7 And I saw it approaching - beside the ram and it was enraged against it and it struck the ram and it broke [the] two horns its and not it was strength in the ram to stand before it and it threw it [the] ground towards and it trampled it and not anyone was delivering the ram from hand its.
Nitreako te nitotohe’e i añondrilahiy le niviñera’e naho nidasiñe’e vaho nipozahe’e i tsifa’e roe rey, le tsy nahalefe hitroatse añatrefa’e i añondrilahiy; aa le nafetsa’e an-tane vaho linialia’e, le tsy eo ty naharombak’ i añondrilahiy an-taña’e.
8 And [the] he-goat of the goats it magnified itself up to muchness and just as became mighty it it was broken the horn great and they grew up conspicuousness four in place its to [the] four [the] winds of the heavens.
Nitoabotoabotse amy zao i oselahiy, le ie an-dengo’ ty haozara’e ro pinozake i tsifa’e ra’elahiy; niboake nandimbe aze an-toe’e eo ty tsifa efatse niatreke i tiok’ efa’ i likerañey rey.
9 And from the one of them it came out a horn one from a small [thing] and it became great excess to the south and to the east and to the beauty.
Nipotìtse ama’e ty tsifa kedekedeke; nitombo ho bey mañatimo naho maniñanañe vaho mb’ an-tane mahasinday.
10 And it became great to [the] host of the heavens and it made fall [the] ground towards some of the host and some of the stars and it trampled them.
Nitoabotse mb’ amy valobohòn-dahin-defon-dikerañey re naho navokovoko’e mb’an-tane atoy ty ila’ i màroy naho o vasiañeo, vaho linialia’e ambane.
11 And to [the] commander of the host it magnified itself and from him (it was removed *Q(K)*) the perpetual [offering] and it was thrown down [the] place of sanctuary his.
Eka, nizonjoñe nahatakatse ty handigiligi’ i mpifehe’ i valobohòkey, kanao tinava’e ama’e i fisoroñañe boak’ àndroy vaho naretsa’e ambane i toe’e miavakey.
12 And an army it will be set over the perpetual [offering] in transgression and it will throw down truth [the] ground towards and it will act and it will succeed.
Fiolàñe ty nanolorañe aze i valobohòkey naho i sorom-boak’ àndroy. Nafetsa’e ambane ty havañonañe naho nanoe’e ze nisatri’e vaho niraorao.
13 And I heard! one holy [one] speaking and he said one holy [one] to the certain [one] who was speaking until when? [will be] the vision the perpetual [offering] and the transgression desolate to give over and [the] sanctuary and an army trampling.
Le tsinanoko te nitsara t’i Masiñe. Hoe ka ty Masiñe raike amy nitsaray, Ampara’ te ombia o aroñaroñeñeo: i sorom-boak’ àndroy, i fiolàñe mandrotsakey, ty hanolorañe i toetse miavakey naho i valobohòke ho lialiàm-pandiay?
14 And he said to me until evening morning two thousand and three hundreds and it will be put right [the] sanctuary.
Le hoe re tamako, Ampara’ te modo ty hariva naho ty maraindray ro-arivo-tsi-telon-jato, izay vaho heferañe i toetse miavakey.
15 And it was when saw I I Daniel the vision and I sought! understanding and there! [was] standing to before me like [the] appearance of a man.
Ie fa niaroñaron-draho, Daniele naho nimaneako rendreke, le nizoeko nijohañe aoloko eo ty amam-binta’ ondaty.
16 And I heard [the] voice of a person between Ulai and he called and he said O Gabriel explain to this [one] the vision.
Tsinanoko t’indaty añivo’ i Olay nikoike ty hoe: Ry Gabriele, ampandrendreho ondaty toañe i aroñaroñey.
17 And he came beside standing place my and when came he I was terrified and I fell! on face my and he said to me understand O son of humankind that [is] for [the] time of [the] end the vision.
Nitotoke mb’amy fijohañako mb’ eo re, le ie niharine, niriatsandry iraho nibabok’ an-tareheko. Aa hoe re tamako, O ana’ ondatio, maharendreha te an-tsa honka’e i aroñaroñey.
18 And when spoke he with me I was dazed on face my [the] ground towards and he touched me and he made stand me on standing place my.
Ie nisaontsie’e le nilañake ty roro an-tane an-tareheko le nedrè’e vaho nampitroare’e.
19 And he said here I [am] making known to you [that] which it will be at [the] end of the indignation for [it is] for [the] appointed time of [the] end.
Hoe re, Ho taroñeko ama’o ty hifetsak’ amo andro honkan-katorifihañeo; ie toe ho amy sa honka’ey.
20 The ram which you saw [the] possessor of the two horns [is] [the] kings of Media and Persia.
I añondrilahy nioni’o aman-tsifa’e roey le ty mpanjaka’ i Madaý naho i Parase.
21 And the he-goat hairy [is] [the] king of Greece and the horn great which [is] between eyes its it [is] the king first.
I dromatsey le ty mpanjaka’ Iavàne; ty tsifa’e ra’elahy añivo’ o maso’eo ty mpanjaka’e valoha’e.
22 And the broken [horn] and they arose four [horns] in place its four kingdoms from a nation they will arise and not with power its.
Aa ie nipozake, le niongake handimbe aze ty efatse, avaho fifelehañe efatse ka ty hitroatse boak’ amy fifeheañey, fe tsy amy haozara’ey.
23 And at [the] end of reign their when are completed the rebels he will arise a king strong of face and understanding of intrigue.
Amo andro sengaha’ i fifeheañeio, ie fa heneke o fiolao, le hampitroa-batañe ty mpanjaka an-daharam-pisenge-hery, mahafohiñe onin-tsaontsy miheotse.
24 And it will be mighty power his and not by own power his and wonders he will destroy and he will succeed and he will act and he will destroy mighty [ones] and a people of holy [ones].
Hampaozareñe i lili’ey, fe tsy amy haozara’ey; le hahalàtsa ty fandrotsaha’e; hiraorao re, naho hanao ze satri’e, vaho ho rotsahe’e o maozatseo naho ondaty miavakeo.
25 And on insight his and he will make successful deceit by hand his and in heart his he will magnify himself and in prosperity he will destroy many [people] and on a prince of princes he will stand and by not a hand he will be broken.
Amy fahilala’ey le hiraorao ty famañahiañe am-pità’e ao, naho hirengevok’ an-tro’e ao naho am-pilongoañe ty handrotsaha’e ty maro; hitroatse amy Talè’ o taleoy ka re, fe hianto tsy am-pitàñe.
26 And [the] vision of the evening and the morning which it has been told [is] truth it and you keep secret the vision for [it is] for days many.
Ie i aroñaron-kariva naho maraiñey, le to i nitaroñeñe ama’oy; aa le liteo i aroñaroñey fa mbe ho amo andro maro añeo.
27 And I Daniel I was done [in] and I was sick days and I arose and I did [the] work of the king and I was appalled on the vision and there not [was one] giving understanding.
Nitoiran-draho Daniele naho nisilok’ andro maromaro, vaho nitroatse nitoroñe i mpanjakay. Nampañeveñe ahy i aroñaroñey, fe tsy eo ty hampalange aze.
