Daniel 7
1 In year one of Belshazzar [the] king of Babylon Daniel a dream he saw and [the] visions of head his on bed his then dream the he wrote [the] head of matters he said.
Vào năm thứ nhất triều Bên-xát-sa, vua Ba-by-lôn, một đêm Đa-ni-ên nằm mộng và thấy khải tượng. Đa-ni-ên ghi chép giấc mộng và thuật lại các khải tượng ấy.
2 [was] replying Daniel and [was] saying seeing I was in vision my with night the and lo! [the] four [the] winds of heavens the [were] stirring up sea the great.
Đa-ni-ên kể: “Trong khải tượng ban đêm, tôi thấy một trận bão lớn làm cho đại dương nổi sóng cuồn cuộn.
3 And four beasts great [were] coming up from sea the [they were] different this [one] from this [one].
Bốn con thú hình thù khác nhau từ dưới biển đi lên.
4 First the [was] like a lion and wings of an eagle [were] to it seeing I was until that they were plucked off wings its and it was lifted away from earth the and on two feet like a human it was made to stand and a heart of a human it was given to it.
Con thú thứ nhất giống như sư tử, có cánh phụng hoàng. Tôi theo dõi nó cho đến khi cánh nó bị bẻ gãy và thân nó bị kéo lên khỏi mặt đất, nó đứng hai chân như người và được ban cho lòng dạ loài người.
5 And lo! a beast another a second [was] like a bear and to a side one it was raised and three ribs [were] in mouth its between (tooth its *Q(K)*) and as follows [they were] saying to it arise devour! flesh much.
Con thú thứ hai giống con gấu, nửa thân này cao hơn nửa thân kia. Miệng nó nhe hai hàm răng đang cắn chặt ba chiếc xương sườn. Người ta bảo nó: ‘Vùng dậy mà ăn thịt cho nhiều!’
6 After this seeing I was and lo! another like a leopard and to it wings four of a bird [were] on (back its *Q(K)*) and four heads [were] to beast the and dominion it was given to it.
Con thú thứ ba giống con beo, trên lưng có bốn cánh. Con thú cũng có bốn đầu và được quyền thống trị.
7 After this seeing I was in [the] visions of night the and lo! a beast (fourth *Q(k)*) [was] fearful and terrible and strong exceedingly and teeth of iron [were] to it great [it was] devouring and [it was] shattering and rest the (with foot its *Q(K)*) [it was] trampling and it [was] different from all beasts the which [was] before it and horns ten [were] to it.
Sau đó, trong khải tượng ban đêm, tôi thấy con thú thứ tư hình thù dễ sợ và có sức mạnh khủng khiếp. Nó có răng lớn bằng sắt; nó cắn xé, đập tan và chà đạp dưới chân những gì còn lại. Nó tàn bạo, độc ác khác hơn hẳn ba con thú trước. Đầu nó mọc ra mười sừng.
8 Considering I was horns the and lo! a horn another small it came up (between them *Q(K)*) and three of horns the former (they were uprooted *Q(K)*) from (before it *Q(k)*) and lo! eyes like [the] eyes of humankind [were] on horn the this and a mouth [was] speaking great [things].
Tôi đang tìm hiểu về mười sừng ấy, bỗng thấy một sừng nhỏ mọc lên giữa các sừng kia, và ba sừng cũ bị nhổ bật tận gốc trước mặt sừng nhỏ này. Sừng nhỏ có nhiều mắt như mắt người và có cái miệng nói những lời khoe khoang ngạo mạn.
9 Seeing I was until that thrones they were placed and [one] ancient of days he sat clothing his - like snow [was] white and [the] hair of head his like wool [was] pure throne his [was] flames of fire wheels its [were] fire burning.
Tôi ngắm nhìn cho đến khi các ngôi đặt xong và Đấng Tạo Hóa—là Đấng hiện hữu từ trước vô cùng—ngự trên ngôi. Áo Ngài trắng như tuyết, tóc Ngài như lông chiên tinh sạch. Ngôi Ngài là các ngọn lửa và bánh xe là lửa hừng,
10 A river of fire [was] flowing and [was] coming out from before him a thousand of (thousands *Q(k)*) they were ministering to him and a myriad of (myriads *Q(k)*) before him they were standing court the it sat and books they were opened.
trước mặt Ngài, một sông lửa chảy ra và tràn khắp nơi. Hàng triệu thiên sứ phục vụ Ngài và hàng tỷ người ứng hầu trước Tòa Án Ngài. Phiên tòa khai mạc các sách đều mở ra.
11 Seeing I was then from [the] sound of words the great which horn the [was] speaking seeing I was until that it was killed beast the and it was destroyed body its and it was given to [the] burning of fire.
Tôi quay lại quan sát vì nghe tiếng nói ngạo mạn hỗn xược của chiếc sừng nhỏ. Tôi nhìn nó cho đến khi con thú bị giết, xác nó bị xé tan nát và đốt tiêu trong lửa.
12 And [the] rest of beasts the they removed dominion their and a prolonging in life it was given to them until a time and a time.
Còn các con thú kia đã bị tước hết quyền hành nhưng còn sống thêm được một thời gian ngắn.
13 Seeing I was in [the] visions of night the and lo! with [the] clouds of heavens the like a son of man coming he was and to [the] [one] ancient of days he reached and before him they brought near him.
Trong khải tượng ban đêm, tôi cũng thấy một Đấng xuất hiện, có hình dạng như Con Người, ngự đến giữa các đám mây trên trời. Ngài tiến lên ngôi của Đấng Tạo Hóa, có tiền hô hậu ủng như một vị hoàng đế.
14 And to him it was given dominion and honor and a kingdom and all peoples the nations the and languages the to him they will pay reverence dominion his [was] a dominion of perpetuity which not it will pass away and kingdom his which not it will be destroyed.
Ngài được Đấng Tạo Hóa trao hết uy quyền, vinh quang, vương quốc ngõ hầu tất cả các dân tộc, quốc gia ngôn ngữ đều thần phục Ngài. Uy quyền của Ngài vững lập đời đời; Vương quốc Ngài chẳng bao giờ bị tiêu diệt.
15 It was distressed spirit my I Daniel in [the] midst of [the] sheath and [the] visions of head my they alarmed me.
Tôi hoang mang bối rối về các khải tượng ấy.
16 I approached to one of [ones] standing the and truth the I was asking from him concerning all this and he said to me and [the] interpretation of matters the he made known to me.
Nên tôi đến hỏi một người đứng gần bên ngôi. Người ấy giải thích cho tôi ý nghĩa của khải tượng:
17 These beasts the great which they [are] four four kings they will arise from earth the.
Bốn con thú lớn là bốn vua trên thế giới; họ sẽ nổi lên giành quyền bá chủ.
18 So they may receive kingdom the [the] holy [ones] of [the] Most High so they may take possession of kingdom the until perpetuity and until perpetuity of perpetuities.
Nhưng các thánh của Đấng Chí Cao sẽ được trao quyền cai trị và nắm chủ quyền trên vương quốc đến đời đời vô tận.”
19 Then I desired to make certain concerning beast the fourth which it was different from (all of them *Q(K)*) [it was] terrible exceedingly (tooth its *Q(K)*) of iron and claws its of bronze [it was] devouring [it was] shattering and rest the with feet its [it was] trampling.
Tôi tìm hiểu sự thật về con thú thứ tư với hình thù dễ sợ hơn hẳn các con thú kia, có răng bằng sắt và vuốt bằng đồng, hay cắn xé, đập tan và chà đạp những gì còn lại dưới chân.
20 And concerning horns the ten which [were] on head its and another [horn] which it came up (and they fell *Q(K)*) from (before it *Q(k)*) three [horns] and horn the this and eyes [were] to it and a mouth [was] speaking great [things] and appearance its [was] great more than companion its.
Tôi cũng hỏi ý nghĩa mười sừng trên đầu con thú, và chiếc sừng mọc lên sau đã nhổ bật ba sừng cũ, tức là chiếc sừng có nhiều mắt và có những lời khoe khoang, hỗn xược—chiếc sừng này lớn mạnh vượt hẳn các sừng kia.
21 Seeing I was and horn the this [was] making war with [the] holy [ones] and [it was] prevailing to them.
Tôi quan sát và thấy chiếc sừng nhỏ tranh đấu với các thánh đồ và chiến thắng,
22 Until that he came [the] [one] ancient of days and judgment it was given for [the] holy [ones] of [the] Most High and appointed time the it arrived and kingdom the they took possession of [the] holy [ones].
cho đến khi Đấng Tạo Hóa—Đấng Chí Cao—ngự xuống xét xử và minh oan cho các thánh đồ của Đấng Chí Cao. Lúc đó là thời kỳ các thánh đồ được thừa hưởng vương quốc.
23 As follows he said beast the fourth a kingdom (fourth the *Q(k)*) it will be on earth the which it will be different from all kingdoms the so it may devour all earth the and it will tread down it and it will shatter it.
Người đáp: “Con thú thứ tư là vương quốc thứ tư thống trị thế giới. Nó tàn bạo hơn hẳn các nước. Nó xâm lăng, chiếm cứ và nuốt chửng tất cả các nước, chà đạp các dân tộc và đánh tan các quân đội khắp thế giới.
24 And horns the ten from it kingdom the ten kings they will arise and another he will arise after them and he he will be different from former [kings] the and three kings he will bring low.
Mười sừng trên đầu con thú là mười lãnh tụ sẽ nổi lên. Nhưng có một lãnh tụ nổi lên sau, khác các lãnh tụ kia. Lãnh tụ này sẽ tiêu diệt ba vị nổi lên trước.
25 And words to [the] side of (Most High the *Q(k)*) he will speak and [the] holy [ones] of [the] Most High he will wear out so he may think to change appointed times and law so they may be given in hand his until a time and times and half of a time.
Lãnh tụ này nói những lời xúc phạm đến Đấng Chí Cao và gây thương tổn cho các thánh đồ của Chúa. Lãnh tụ này quyết định đổi niên lịch và pháp luật. Chúa cho phép lãnh tụ này chiến thắng các thánh đồ trong ba năm rưỡi.
26 And court the it will sit and dominion his they will remove to annihilate and to destroy until end the.
Nhưng đến ngày Đấng Tạo Hóa lên tòa xét xử, Ngài sẽ đoán phạt và truất phế lãnh tụ này cùng trao tất cả uy quyền cho các thánh đồ để đánh tan và tiêu diệt đế quốc ấy.
27 And kingdom the and dominion the and greatness the of kingdoms under all heavens the it was given to a people [the] holy [ones] of [the] Most High kingdom his [will be] a kingdom of perpetuity and all empires the to him they will pay reverence so they may obey.
Chúa sẽ ban cho các thánh đồ của Đấng Chí Cao vương quốc, uy quyền và vinh quang vĩ đại bao trùm cả hoàn vũ. Vương quốc Chúa tồn tại đời đời và tất cả các nước đều sẽ thần phục và phụng sự Ngài.”
28 To here end the of matter the I Daniel exceedingly - thoughts my they alarmed me and brightness my they were changed on me and matter the in heart my I have kept.
“Khải tượng ấy đến đây là hết. Càng suy nghiệm, tôi càng bối rối, sợ hãi đến tái mặt. Nhưng tôi không nói cho ai biết khải tượng này.”
