Daniel 2

1 And in year two of [the] reign of Nebuchadnezzar he dreamed Nebuchadnezzar dreams and it was troubled spirit his and sleep his it happened on him.

ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ಎರಡನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಕನಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು. ಅವನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಕಳವಳಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಿದ್ರೆಯೇ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

2 And he said the king to summon the soothsayer-priests and the conjurers and the sorcerers and the Chaldeans to tell to the king dreams his and they came and they stood before the king.

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಕನಸನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಲು ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರರನ್ನೂ, ಜೋತಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ, ಮಾಟಗಾರರನ್ನೂ, ಪಂಡಿತರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆಯಲು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಂದು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತರು.

3 And he said to them the king a dream I have dreamed and it was troubled spirit my to know the dream.

ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ಒಂದು ಕನಸು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವೇನೋ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಯಲು ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ತತ್ತರಗೊಂಡಿದೆ,” ಎಂದನು.

4 And they spoke the Chaldeans to the king Aramaic king O for ever live! tell! dream the (to servant your *Q(K)*) and interpretation the we will declare.

ಆಗ ಪಂಡಿತರು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಅರಮಾಯ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, “ಅರಸನೇ, ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಬಾಳು! ಕನಸನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು, ಆಗ ನಾವು ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವೆವು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

5 [was] replying King the and [was] saying (to Chaldeans the *Q(K)*) word the from me [is] assured if not you will make known to me dream the and interpretation its members you will be made and houses your a refuse-heap they will be made.

ಅರಸನು ಪಂಡಿತರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ನನ್ನ ಈ ಮಾತು ಖಂಡಿತ. ನೀವು ಕನಸನ್ನು ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತುಂಡುತುಂಡಾಗಿ ಕತ್ತರಿಸುವೆನು. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಪ್ಪೆ ಗುಂಡಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಸುವೆನು.

6 And if dream the and interpretation its you will declare gifts and a reward and honor great you will receive from before me therefore dream the and interpretation its declare to me.

ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಕನಸನ್ನೂ, ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರೆ, ದಾನಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಬಹಳ ಘನತೆಯನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಪಡೆಯುವಿರಿ. ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಕನಸನ್ನೂ, ಅದರ ವ್ಯಾಖ್ಯಾನವನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

7 They replied a second [time] and [they were] saying king O dream the let him tell to servants his and interpretation the we will declare.

ಅವರು ಮತ್ತೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ಕನಸನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ಹೇಳಲಿ. ಆಗ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನಾವು ತಿಳಿಸುವೆವು,” ಎಂದರು.

8 [was] replying King the and [was] saying according to certain [am] knowing I that time you [are] gaining as to because that you have seen that [is] assured from me word the.

ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ನಾನು ಇದನ್ನು ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಸಮಯ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

9 That if dream the not you will make known to me [is] one it decree your and a word a lie and corrupt (you have agreed together *Q(K)*) to say before me until that time the it will be changed therefore dream the tell! to me so I may know that interpretation its you will declare to me.

ನೀವು ಕನಸನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳದಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ಒಂದು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಿದೆ. ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ನಡೆಸುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ, ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವಂತೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕನಸನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಲೇಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ಅದನ್ನು ವ್ಯಾಖ್ಯಾನ ಮಾಡಿ, ವಿವರಿಸುವಿರೆಂದು ನಾನು ತಿಳಿಯುವೆನು,” ಎಂದನು.

10 They replied (Chaldeans the *Q(K)*) before king the and [they were] saying not there [is] a person on earth the who [the] matter of king the he will be able to declare as to because that any king great and powerful a matter like this not he has asked to any magician and conjurer and Chaldean.

ಆಗ ಪಂಡಿತರು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ಅರಸನ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಬಲ್ಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ! ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯಾವ ಅರಸನಾದರೂ, ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಭುವಾದರೂ, ಯಾವ ಯಜಮಾನನಾದರೂ ಯಾವೊಬ್ಬ ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರನಲ್ಲೂ, ಜೋತಿಷ್ಯನಲ್ಲೂ, ಪಂಡಿತನಲ್ಲೂ ಇಂಥ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.

11 And matter the which king the [is] asking [is] difficult and [is] another not there who he will declare it before king the except gods who dwelling place their [is] with flesh not there it.

ಅರಸನು ಕೇಳುವ ಸಂಗತಿಯು ಕಷ್ಟಕರವಾದದ್ದು. ಮಾನವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸದ ದೇವರುಗಳೇ ಹೊರತು, ಬೇರಾರೂ ಇದನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾರರು.”

12 As to because this king the he was angry and he was furious exceedingly and he said to destroy all [the] wise men of Babylon.

ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅರಸನು ಕೋಪ ಮತ್ತು ರೌದ್ರವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ, ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಲೆಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.

13 And decree the it went out and wise men the [were] about to be killed and they sought Daniel and companions his to be killed.

ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂಬ ನಿರ್ಣಯವು ಹೊರಟಿತು. ದಾನಿಯೇಲನನ್ನೂ, ಅವನ ಜೊತೆಗಾರರನ್ನೂ ಕೊಲ್ಲಲು ಹುಡುಕಿದರು.

14 Then Daniel he sent back counsel and discretion to Arioch [the] chief executioners the of king the who he went out to kill [the] wise men of Babylon.

ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲು ಹೊರಟಿದ್ದ ಅರಸನ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಅರ್ಯೋಕನಿಗೆ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಜ್ಞಾನದಿಂದಲೂ ಚಾತುರ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

15 [he was] replying And [he was] saying to Arioch captain the of king the on what? [is] decree the harsh from before king the then matter the he made known Arioch to Daniel.

ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಅರಸನ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಅರ್ಯೋಕನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ಅರಸನಿಂದ ಇಂಥ ಕಠಿಣವಾದ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಏಕೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು, ಅರ್ಯೋಕನು ದಾನಿಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ಆ ಸಂಗತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದನು.

16 And Daniel he went in and he asked from king the that time he will give to him and interpretation the to declare to king the.

ಆಗ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಅರಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ತನಗೆ ಸಮಯ ಕೊಡಲು ಇಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟರೆ, ತಾನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

17 Then Daniel to house his he went and to Hananiah Mishael and Azariah companions his matter the he made known.

ಆಮೇಲೆ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಗಾರರಾದ ಹನನ್ಯ, ಮೀಶಾಯೇಲ್, ಅಜರ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು.

18 And compassion to ask from before [the] God of heavens the concerning secret the this that not they will destroy Daniel and companions his with [the] rest of [the] wise men of Babylon.

ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಅವನ ಜೊತೆಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉಳಿದ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೊಲೆಯಾಗದಂತೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಗಾರರಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಈ ರಹಸ್ಯದ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಪರಲೋಕದ ದೇವರಿಂದ ಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

19 Then to Daniel in vision the of night the secret the it was revealed then Daniel he blessed [the] God of heavens the.

ಆ ರಹಸ್ಯವು ದಾನಿಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ರಾತ್ರಿ ದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಯಿತು. ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಪರಲೋಕದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿ,

20 [was] replying Daniel and [was] saying let it be name his of true God the [be] blessed from antiquity and to perpetuity that wisdom and power which [is] to him it.

ಹೀಗೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು: “ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ದೇವರ ನಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ತುತಿಸ್ತೋತ್ರವಾಗಲಿ! ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವೂ, ಬಲವೂ ಅವರದಾಗಿದೆ.

21 And he [is] changing times the and appointed times the [he is] removing kings and [he is] setting up kings [he is] giving wisdom to wise men and understanding to ones knowing discernment.

ಅವರು ಕಾಲವನ್ನೂ, ಸಮಯವನ್ನೂ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅವರು ಅರಸರನ್ನು ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರರನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆತ್ತುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನೂ, ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತರಿಗೆ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುವರು.

22 He [is] revealing deep [things] and hidden [things] [he is] knowing what? [is] in darkness the (and light the *Q(k)*) with him [is] dwelling.

ಅಗಾಧವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು, ರಹಸ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿರುವಂತವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬೆಳಕು ಅವರೊಳಗೆ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

23 You - O God of fathers my [am] praising and [am] praising I that wisdom and power you have given to me and now you have made known to me that we asked from you that [the] matter of king the you made known to us.

ನನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನೂ, ಬಲವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟು; ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ನೀವು ಈಗ ನಮಗೆ ಅರಸನ ಕನಸನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ.”

24 As to because this Daniel he went in to Arioch whom he had appointed king the to destroy [the] wise men of Babylon he went - and as follows he said to him [the] wise men of Babylon may not you destroy bring in me before king the and interpretation the to king the I will declare.

ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಲು ಅರಸನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ಅರ್ಯೋಕನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಡ. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗು. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಅವನ ಕನಸಿನ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ,” ಎಂದನು.

25 Then Arioch in haste he brought in Daniel before king the and as follows he said to him that I have found a man from [the] sons of exile the of Judah who interpretation the to king the he will make known.

ಅರ್ಯೋಕನು ದಾನಿಯೇಲನನ್ನು ತ್ವರೆಯಾಗಿ ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ, ಆತನಿಗೆ, “ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಸೆರೆಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಅವನ ಕನಸಿನ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ,” ಎಂದನು.

26 [was] replying King the and [was] saying to Daniel who name his [was] Belteshazzar (¿ [are] you *Q(k)*) able to make known to me dream the which I saw and interpretation its.

ಅರಸನು ಬೇಲ್ತೆಶಚ್ಚರನೆಂಬ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು, “ನಾನು ಕಂಡ ಕನಸನ್ನೂ, ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವು ನಿನಗಿದೆಯೋ?” ಎಂದನು.

27 [was] replying Daniel before king the and [was] saying secret the which king the [is] asking not wise men conjurers magicians astrologers [are] being able to declare to king the.

ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಅರಸನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ಅರಸನು ಕೇಳುವ ರಹಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳೂ, ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷ್ಯರೂ, ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರರೂ, ಶಕುನ ಹೇಳುವವರೂ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾರರು.

28 Nevertheless there [is] a God in heavens the [who] reveals secrets and he has made known to king the Nebuchadnezzar what that it will be at [the] end of days the dream your and [the] visions of head your on bed your [is] this it.

ಆದರೆ ಈ ರಹಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಪಡಿಸುವಂತಹ ದೇವರು ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಮುಂಬರುವ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಮಲಗಿದಾಗ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾದುಹೋದ ದರ್ಶನಗಳು ಇವೇ ಆಗಿವೆ.

29 (You *Q(k)*) king O thought[s] your on bed your they came up what that it will be after this and [one who] reveals secrets he has made known to you what that it will be.

“ಅರಸನೇ, ನೀನು ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗಿರುವಾಗ, ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಏನು ಸಂಭವಿಸುವುದೋ, ಎಂಬ ಯೋಚನೆಯು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಆ ರಹಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುವವರು, ಮುಂದೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವುದು ಏನೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಗೋಚರಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

30 And I not by wisdom which there [is] in me more than all living [people] the secret the this it has been revealed to me but on [the] cause that interpretation the to king the they will make known and [the] thoughts of heart your you will know.

ಆದರೆ ನಾನೇ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವಂತರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬುದ್ಧಿಯುಳ್ಳವನೆಂದಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ, ಕನಸಿನ ಅರ್ಥವು ಅರಸನಾದ ನಿನಗೆ ಗೋಚರವಾಗಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದ ಯೋಚನೆಗಳು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದುಬರಲೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಿದೆ.

31 (You *Q(k)*) king O seeing you were and lo! an image one great image the this [was] great and splendor its extraordinary [was] standing before you and appearance its [was] terrible.

“ರಾಜನೇ, ನೀನು ನೋಡಲಾಗಿ, ಇಗೋ ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯು ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು. ಮಹಾ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನವಾದ ಆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಆಕಾರವು ಭಯಂಕರವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

32 It image the head its of gold good breast its and arms its of silver belli its and loins its of bronze.

ಈ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯ ತಲೆಯು ಅಪ್ಪಟ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದಲೂ, ಅದರ ಎದೆಯು ಮತ್ತು ತೋಳುಗಳು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಿಂದಲೂ, ಅದರ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯು ಮತ್ತು ತೊಡೆಗಳು ಕಂಚಿನಿಂದಲೂ,

33 Legs its of iron feet its (some of them *Q(K)*) of iron (and some of them *Q(K)*) of clay.

ಅದರ ಕಾಲುಗಳು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದಿಂದಲೂ, ಅದರ ಪಾದಗಳು ಅರ್ಧ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವೂ ಅರ್ಧ ಮಣ್ಣೂ ಆಗಿತ್ತು.

34 Seeing you were until that it was cut out a stone which not [was] by hands and it struck image the on feet its of iron the and clay the and it shattered them.

ನೀವು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರಲಾಗಿ, ಒಂದು ಗುಂಡು ಬಂಡೆಯು ಮಾನವ ಹಸ್ತದ ಸಹಾಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಒಡೆದು, ಅರ್ಧ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವೂ ಅರ್ಧ ಮಣ್ಣೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಆ ವಿಗ್ರಹದ ಪಾದಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಡಿದು ಚೂರುಚೂರು ಮಾಡಿತು.

35 Then they were shattered as one iron the clay the bronze the silver the and gold the and they were like chaff from threshing floors of summer and it carried away them wind the and any place not it was found for them and stone the - which it struck image the it became a mountain great and it filled all earth the.

ಆಗ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವೂ, ಮಣ್ಣೂ, ಕಂಚು, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯೂ, ಬಂಗಾರವೂ ಕೂಡ ಒಡೆದು, ಚೂರುಚೂರಾಗಿ, ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ಕಾಲದ ಧಾನ್ಯದ ಹೊಟ್ಟಿನ ಹಾಗಾದವು. ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ನೆಲೆ ಸಿಗದೆ, ಗಾಳಿಯು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಯಿತು. ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಬಡಿದ ಕಲ್ಲು, ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬೆಟ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಿತು.

36 This [was] dream the and interpretation its we will tell before king the.

“ಇದೇ ಕನಸು. ಇದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.

37 (You *Q(k)*) king O [are] [the] king of kings the whom [the] God of heavens the kingdom the power the and strength the and honor the he has given to you.

ಅರಸನೇ, ನೀನು ಅರಸರಿಗೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಪರಲೋಕದ ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ಬಲವನ್ನೂ, ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನೂ, ಘನವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

38 And over all that ([are] dwelling *Q(k)*) [the] sons of humankind [the] animal[s] of field the and [the] bird[s] of heavens the he has given in hand your and he has made ruler you over all of them (you *Q(K)*) [are] it head the of gold.

ಜನರನ್ನು, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೃಗಗಳನ್ನು, ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನು, ಜೀವಿಸುವಂಥಾದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ಅವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಳುವವನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆ ಬಂಗಾರದ ತಲೆಯು ನೀನೇ.

39 And after you it will arise a kingdom another earthward more than you and a kingdom (third *Q(k)*) another of bronze the which it will rule over all earth the.

“ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ನಿನಗಿಂತ ಕನಿಷ್ಠವಾದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಏಳುವುದು. ಅನಂತರ ಮೂರನೆಯ ಕಂಚಿನ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಬರುವುದು. ಅದು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೂ ದೊರೆತನ ನಡೆಸುವುದು.

40 And a kingdom (fourth *Q(k)*) it will be strong like iron as to because that iron the [is] shattering and [is] crushing everything and like iron which [is] crushing all these it will shatter so it may crush.

ಆಮೇಲೆ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಲವಾಗಿ ಇರುವುದು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವು ಸಮಸ್ತ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಚೂರುಚೂರು ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವು ಹೇಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಚೂರು ಮಾಡುವುದೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಇತರರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಚೂರುಚೂರಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಧ್ವಂಸ ಮಾಡುವುದು.

41 And that you saw feet the and toes the (some of them *Q(K)*) clay of a potter (and some of them *Q(K)*) iron a kingdom divided it will be and some of firmness the of iron the it will be in it as to because that you saw iron the mixed with [the] clay of clay the.

ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಕಾಲಿನ ಬೆರಳುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಧ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ಅರ್ಧ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದಿಂದಲೂ ಉಂಟಾದವೆಂದು ನೀನು ನೋಡಿದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ? ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಆ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ವಿಭಾಗವಾಗಿರುವುದು. ಆದರೆ ಅದರ ಬಲವು ನೀನು ಜೇಡಿಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಸಂಗಡ ಜೊತೆಗೂಡಿದ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ ಹಾಗಿರುವುದು.

42 And [the] toes of feet the (some of them *Q(K)*) iron (and some of them *Q(K)*) clay from [the] part of kingdom the it will be strong and from it it will be breakable.

ಪಾದದ ಬೆರಳುಗಳು ಅರ್ಧ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದಿಂದಲೂ, ಅರ್ಧ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆ, ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಅರ್ಧ ಮುರಿದದ್ದಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅರ್ಧ ಬಲವಾದದ್ದಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವುದು.

43 (And that *Q(K)*) you saw iron the mixed with [the] clay of clay the mixing they will be with [the] offspring of humankind and not they will be clinging this with this here! like that iron not [is] mixing with clay.

ನೀನು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವು ಜೇಡಿಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಿಶ್ರವಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆ, ಜನರು ಮಿಶ್ರವಾಗಿರುವರು ಮತ್ತು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವು ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಅವರು ಒಬ್ಬರ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಬ್ಬರು ಕೂಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

44 And in days their of kings the those he will set up [the] God of heavens the a kingdom which for ever not it will be destroyed and kingdom the to a people another not it will be left it will shatter so it may put an end to all these kingdoms the and it it will endure for ever.

“ಆ ಅರಸರ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಲೋಕದ ದೇವರು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನಾಶವಾಗದ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವರು. ಅದು ಬೇರೆ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದು ಆ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಧ್ವಂಸಮಾಡಿ, ಮುಗಿಸಿ, ತಾನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದು.

45 As to because that you saw that from mountain it was cut out a stone which not [was] by hands and it shattered iron the bronze the clay the silver the and gold the God great he has made known to king the what that it will be after this and [is] certain dream the and [is] trustworthy interpretation its.

ಮಾನವ ಹಸ್ತಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಡಿದು ತೆಗೆದ ಗುಂಡು ಬಂಡೆಯು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವನ್ನೂ, ಕಂಚನ್ನೂ, ಮಣ್ಣನ್ನೂ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ ತುಂಡುತುಂಡಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಆ ಗುಂಡು ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ದರ್ಶನವು ಇದೆ. “ಇದರಿಂದ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಮಹಾ ದೇವರು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕನಸು ನಿಜವಾದದ್ದು, ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವು ನಂಬತಕ್ಕದ್ದು,” ಎಂದನು.

46 Then king the Nebuchadnezzar he fell on face his and to Daniel he paid homage and offering and soothing offerings he said to offer in sacrifice to him.

ಆಗ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು, ದಾನಿಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸುಗಂಧ ದ್ರವ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದೂ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.

47 [was] replying King the to Daniel and [was] saying from truth that God your he [is the] God of gods and [the] lord of kings and [one who] reveals secrets that you have been able to reveal secret the this.

ಅರಸನು ದಾನಿಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ನೀನು ಈ ರಹಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಮಾಡಲು ಸಮರ್ಥನಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ದೇವರಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅರಸುಗಳ ಒಡೆಯರಾಗಿಯೂ, ರಹಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟ ಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದನು.

48 Then king the Daniel he made great and gifts great many he gave to him and he made ruler him over all [the] province of Babylon and chief of prefects over all [the] wise men of Babylon.

ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ದಾನಿಯೇಲನನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿರಿಸಿ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಸಮಸ್ತ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂತಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.

49 And Daniel he asked from king the and he appointed over administration the of [the] province of Babylon Shadrach Meshach and Abed-nego and Daniel [was] in [the] gate king the.

ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಅರಸನು ಶದ್ರಕ್, ಮೇಶಕ್, ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬುವರನ್ನು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನದ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಅರಸನ ಅರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದನು.
