Daniel 11
1 And I in year one of Darius the Mede standing my [was] to a strengthener and to a protection for him.

2 And now truth I will tell to you there! yet three kings [are] about to arise for Persia and the fourth [king] he will gain wealth wealth great more than everyone and according to strength his by wealth his he will stir up everyone [the] kingdom of Greece.
“Sasa basi, ninakuambia kweli: Wafalme watatu zaidi watatokea Uajemi, kisha atatokea mfalme wa nne, ambaye atakuwa tajiri sana kuliko wengine wote. Wakati atakapokuwa amekwisha kujipatia nguvu kwa utajiri wake, atamchochea kila mmoja dhidi ya ufalme wa Uyunani.
3 And he will arise a king mighty and he will have dominion dominion great and he will do according to pleasure his.
Ndipo mfalme mwenye nguvu atatokea, ambaye atatawala kwa nguvu nyingi na kufanya anavyopenda.
4 And just as arises he it will be broken up kingdom his and it will be divided to [the] four [the] winds of the heavens and not to posterity his and not like dominion his which he had dominion for it will be plucked up kingdom his and to others besides these.
Baada ya kujitokeza, milki yake itavunjwa na kugawanyika katika pande nne za mbinguni. Hautakwenda kwa wazao wake, wala hautakuwa na nguvu alizotumia, kwa sababu milki yake itangʼolewa na kupewa wengine.
5 So he may become strong [the] king of the south and one of commanders his so he may become strong on him and he will exercise dominion [will be] a dominion great dominion his.
“Mfalme wa Kusini atakuwa na nguvu, lakini mmoja wa majemadari wake atakuwa na nguvu zaidi kuliko mfalme, naye atatawala ufalme wake mwenyewe kwa nguvu nyingi.
6 And to [the] end of years they will make an alliance and [the] daughter of [the] king of the south she will come to [the] king of the north to do uprightness and not she will retain [the] power of the arm and not he will stand arm his so she may be given up she and [those who] brought her and the [one who] fathered her and [the one who] strengthened her in the times.
Baada ya miaka kadha, wataungana. Binti wa mfalme wa Kusini ataolewa kwa mfalme wa Kaskazini ili kuimarisha mapatano, lakini huyo binti nguvu zake hazitadumu; hata mfalme hatadumu wala nguvu zake. Katika siku hizo atafukuzwa, pamoja na hao wasindikizaji wake wa kifalme, watoto wake, na yeyote aliyemuunga mkono.
7 And he will arise one of [the] shoot[s] of roots her place his so he may come against the army so he may go in [the] stronghold of [the] king of the north and he will do with them and he will prevail.
“Mmoja kutoka jamaa ya huyo binti atainuka na kuchukua nafasi yake. Atashambulia majeshi ya mfalme wa Kaskazini na kuingia katika ngome yake; atapigana dhidi yao naye atashinda.
8 And also gods their with molten images their with [the] vessels of desire their silver and gold in captivity he will take Egypt and he years he will stand away from [the] king of the north.
Tena ataitwaa miungu yao, vinyago vyao vya chuma, na vitu vyao vya thamani vya fedha na dhahabu, na kuvichukua hadi Misri. Kwa miaka kadha atamwacha mfalme wa Kaskazini bila kumsumbua.
9 And he will go in [the] kingdom of [the] king of the south and he will return to own land his.
Kisha mfalme wa Kaskazini atashambulia nchi ya mfalme wa Kusini, lakini atarudi nyuma hadi kwenye nchi yake.
10 (And sons his *Q(K)*) they will wage war and they will gather a multitude of armies great and it will go certainly and it will overflow and it will pass over and it will return (so it may wage war *Q(K)*) to (stronghold his. *Q(K)*)
Wana wa mfalme wa Kaskazini watajiandaa kwa vita na kukusanya jeshi kubwa, ambalo litafagia nchi kama mafuriko yasiyozuilika na kuendelea na vita hadi kwenye ngome ya mfalme wa Kusini.
11 So he may be enraged [the] king of the south and he will go out and he will engage in battle with him with [the] king of the north and he will raise up a multitude great and it will be given the multitude in hand his.
“Kisha mfalme wa Kusini atatoka kwa ghadhabu na kupigana dhidi ya mfalme wa Kaskazini, ambaye ataunda jeshi kubwa, lakini litashindwa.
12 And it will be carried off the multitude (and it will be lifted up *Q(K)*) heart his and he will make fall tens of thousands and not he will prevail.
Wakati jeshi litakapokuwa limechukuliwa, mfalme wa Kusini atajawa na kiburi na atachinja maelfu mengi, hata hivyo hatabaki na ushindi.
13 And he will return [the] king of the north and he will raise up a multitude great more than the first and to [the] end of the times years he will come certainly with an army large and with equipment much.
Kwa maana mfalme wa Kaskazini atakusanya jeshi jingine kubwa kuliko lile la kwanza; na baada ya miaka kadha, atasonga mbele na jeshi kubwa mno lililoandaliwa vizuri.
14 And in the times those many [people] they will arise on [the] king of the south and [the] sons of - [the] violent ones of people your they will exalt themselves to fulfill [the] vision and they will stumble.
“Katika nyakati hizo wengi watainuka dhidi ya mfalme wa Kusini. Watu wenye ghasia miongoni mwa watu wako mwenyewe wataasi ili kutimiza maono, lakini bila mafanikio.
15 And he may come [the] king of the north so he may pour out a mound and he will capture a city of fortifications and [the] forces of the south not they will stand and [the] people of choicest ones his and there not [will be] strength to stand.
Ndipo mfalme wa Kaskazini atakuja na kuuzunguka mji kwa majeshi, na kuuteka mji wa ngome. Majeshi ya Kusini yatakosa nguvu za kuyazuia; naam, hata vikosi vyao vya askari vilivyo bora zaidi, havitakuwa na nguvu ya kuwakabili.
16 And he will do the [one who] comes against him according to pleasure his and there not [will be one who] stands before him so he may stand in [the] land of beauty and complete destruction [will be] in hand his.
Huyo mvamia nchi atafanya apendavyo; hakuna yeyote atakayeweza kumpinga. Atajiimarisha katika Nchi ya Kupendeza, na atakuwa na uwezo wa kuiangamiza.
17 And he will set - face his to come with [the] power of all kingdom his and upright [things] with him and he will do and [the] daughter of the women he will give to him to destroy it and not it will stand and not to him it will happen.
Ataamua kuja na nguvu za ufalme wake wote na kufanya mapatano ya amani na mfalme wa Kusini. Naye atamtoa binti yake aolewe naye ili kuuangusha ufalme, lakini mipango yake haitafanikiwa wala kumsaidia.
18 (And he will set *Q(K)*) face his to [the] coastlands and he will capture many [people] and he will put an end to a commander scorn his for him not scorn his he will turn back to him.
Ndipo atabadili nia yake kupigana na nchi za pwani na ataziteka nyingi, lakini jemadari mmoja atakomesha ufidhuli wake na kurudisha ufidhuli wake juu yake.
19 And he will turn face his to [the] strongholds of own land his and he will stumble and he will fall and not he will be found.
Baada ya hili atazigeukia ngome za nchi yake mwenyewe, lakini atajikwaa na kuanguka, wala hataonekana tena.
20 And he will arise on place his [one who] will send through an oppressor [the] splendor of a kingdom and in days one he will be broken and not in anger and not in battle.
“Atakayetawala baada yake atamtuma mtoza ushuru ili kudumisha fahari ya kifalme. Hata hivyo, baada ya miaka michache ataangamizwa, lakini si katika hasira wala katika vita.
21 And he will arise on place his a despicable [person] and not people had given to him [the] honor of royalty and he will come in quietness and he will take hold of royalty by intrigues.
“Atakayetawala baada yake atakuwa mtu wa kudharauliwa ambaye hajapewa heshima ya kifalme. Atauvamia ufalme wakati watu wake wanapojiona wako salama, naye atautwaa kwa hila.
22 And [the] forces of the flood they will be swept away from to before him so they may be broken and also a prince of a covenant.
Ndipo jeshi kubwa litafagiliwa mbele yake; jeshi pamoja na mkuu mmoja wa agano wataangamizwa.
23 And from when made an alliance with him he will act deceit and he will rise and he will become mighty with fewness of a nation.
Baada ya kufanya mapatano naye, atatenda kwa udanganyifu, na akitumia watu wachache tu ataingia madarakani.
24 In quietness and in [the] fertile places of [the] province he will come and he will do [that] which not they did ancestors his and [the] ancestors of ancestors his plunder and booty and property to them he will scatter and on strongholds he will plan plans his and until a time.
Wakati majimbo yaliyo tajiri sana yanajiona salama, atayavamia, naye atafanikisha kile ambacho baba zake wala babu zake hawakuweza. Atagawa nyara, mateka na utajiri miongoni mwa wafuasi wake. Atafanya hila ya kupindua miji yenye maboma, lakini kwa muda mfupi tu.
25 And he will stir up strength his and heart his on [the] king of the south with an army large and [the] king of the south he will get ready for the battle with an army large and mighty up to muchness and not he will stand for people will plan on him plans.
“Pamoja na jeshi kubwa atachochea nguvu zake na ushujaa wake dhidi ya mfalme wa Kusini. Mfalme wa Kusini atafanya vita na jeshi lenye nguvu sana, lakini hataweza kusimama kwa sababu ya kwa hila zilizofanywa dhidi yake.
26 And [those who] eat deli-cacies his they will break him and army his it will overflow and they will fall slain [ones] many.
Wale wanaokula kutoka kwenye ruzuku za mfalme watajaribu kumwangamiza; jeshi lake litafagiliwa mbali, nao wengi watakufa vitani.
27 And [the] two of them the kings heart their [will be] to evil and at a table one falsehood they will speak and not it will succeed for yet [the] end [is] to the appointed time.
Wafalme hawa wawili, mioyo yao ikiwa imekusudia mabaya, wataketi kwenye meza moja na kudanganyana wao kwa wao, lakini pasipo faida, kwa sababu bado mwisho utakuja katika wakati ulioamriwa.
28 And he will return own land his with property great and heart his [will be] on [the] covenant of holiness and he will act and he will return to own land his.
Mfalme wa Kaskazini atarudi katika nchi yake na utajiri mwingi, lakini atakuwa ameukaza moyo wake kinyume na agano takatifu. Atachukua hatua dhidi ya hilo agano, kisha atarudi nchi yake.
29 To the appointed time he will return and he will come in the south and not it will be as the former [time] and as the latter [time].
“Wakati ulioamriwa, atavamia tena Kusini, lakini wakati huu matokeo yake yatakuwa tofauti na yale ya wakati wa kwanza.
30 And they will come on him ships of Kittim and he will be disheartened and he will turn back and he will direct indignation towards [the] covenant of holiness and he will act and he will turn back and he will pay attention on [those who] forsake [the] covenant of holiness.
Meli za nchi ya Kitimu zitampinga, naye atavunjika moyo. Ndipo atarudi nyuma na kutoa wazi hasira yake dhidi ya agano takatifu. Atarudi na kuonyesha fadhili kwa wale waliachao agano takatifu.
31 And forces from him they will arise and they will profane the sanctuary the stronghold and they will abolish the perpetual [offering] and they will set up the abomination desolating.
“Majeshi yake yenye silaha yatainuka ili kunajisi ngome ya Hekalu, na kuondolea mbali sadaka ya kuteketezwa ya kila siku. Ndipo watalisimamisha chukizo la uharibifu lisababishalo ukiwa.
32 And [those who] act wickedly of [the] covenant he will pollute with flattering [words] and a people [which] knows God its they will display strength and they will act.
Kwa udanganyifu atapotosha wale walionajisi agano, lakini watu wanaomjua Mungu wao watampinga kwa uthabiti.
33 And [those who] have insight of [the] people they will give understanding to the many [people] and they will stumble by sword and by flame by captivity and by plunder days.
“Wenye hekima watawafundisha wengi, ingawa kwa kitambo watauawa kwa upanga au kuchomwa moto, au kukamatwa au kufanywa mateka.
34 And when stumble they they will be helped help a little and they will join themselves to them many [people] by intrigues.
Watakapoanguka, watapokea msaada kidogo, nao wengi ambao si waaminifu wataungana nao.
35 And some of those [who] have insight they will stumble to refine them and to purge [them] and to purify [them] until [the] time of [the] end for [it is] still to the appointed time.
Baadhi ya wenye hekima watajikwaa, ili waweze kusafishwa, kutakaswa na kufanywa wasio na waa mpaka wakati wa mwisho, kwa maana bado litakuja kwa wakati ulioamriwa.
36 And he will do according to pleasure his the king so he may exalt himself and he may magnify himself above every god and on [the] God of gods he will speak extraordinary [things] and he will succeed until it has been completed indignation for [what has been] decreed it will be done.
“Mfalme atafanya apendavyo. Atajikweza na kujitukuza juu ya kila mungu, naye atasema mambo ambayo hayajasikiwa dhidi ya Mungu wa miungu. Atafanikiwa hadi wakati wa ghadhabu utimie, kwa maana kile kilichokusudiwa lazima kitokee.
37 And on [the] gods of ancestors his not he will pay attention and on [the] desire of women and on any god not he will pay attention for above all he will magnify himself.
Hataonyesha heshima kwa miungu ya baba zake au kwa yule aliyetamaniwa na wanawake, wala hatajali mungu yeyote, bali atajikweza mwenyewe juu yao wote.
38 And a god of strongholds on place its he will honor and a god which not they knew it ancestors his he will honor with gold and with silver and with stone costly and with precious things.
Badala ya kuwajali miungu, ataheshimu mungu wa ngome; mungu ambaye hakujulikana na baba zake ndiye atamheshimu kwa dhahabu na fedha, kwa vito vya thamani na zawadi za thamani kubwa.
39 And he will act to [the] fortresses of strongholds with a god of foreignness [one] who (he acknowledges *Q(K)*) he will increase honor and he will make rule them over the many [people] and land he will divide up for a price.
Atashambulia ngome zenye nguvu mno kwa msaada wa mungu wa kigeni naye atawaheshimu sana wale watakaomkubali yeye. Atawafanya watawala juu ya watu wengi, na atagawa nchi kwa gharama.
40 And at [the] time of [the] end he will wage war with him [the] king of the south so he may storm on him [the] king of the north with chariotry and with horsemen and with ships many and he will go in lands and he will overflow and he will pass through.
“Katika wakati wa mwisho, mfalme wa Kusini atapigana naye vita, naye mfalme wa Kaskazini atamshambulia kwa magari ya vita, askari wapanda farasi, na idadi kubwa ya meli. Atavamia nchi nyingi na kuzikumba nchi hizo kama mafuriko.
41 And he will come in [the] land of beauty and many [people] they will stumble and these they will escape from hand his Edom and Moab and [the] first of [the] people of Ammon.
Pia ataivamia Nchi ya Kupendeza. Nchi nyingi zitapinduliwa, bali Edomu, Moabu na viongozi wa Amoni wataokolewa kutoka mkono wake.
42 So he may stretch out hand his on lands and [the] land of Egypt not it will become an escaped remnant.
Atapanua mamlaka yake juu ya nchi nyingi; hata Misri haitaepuka.
43 And he will rule over [the] treasures of gold and silver and over all [the] precious things of Egypt and Libyans and Cushites [will be] in footsteps his.
Atamiliki hazina za dhahabu, fedha na utajiri wote wa Misri, pamoja na Walibia na Wakushi kwa kujisalimisha.
44 And reports they will dismay him from [the] east and from [the] north and he will go out in rage great to destroy and to totally destroy many [people].
Lakini taarifa kutoka mashariki na kaskazini zitamshtua, naye ataondoka kwa ghadhabu nyingi ili kuangamiza na kuharibu kabisa wengi.
45 So he may pitch [the] tents of palace his between [the] seas and [the] mountain of [the] beauty of holiness and he will come to end his and not a helper [will belong] to him.
Atasimika hema zake za ufalme kati ya bahari na mlima mtakatifu wa kupendeza. Hata hivyo, atafikia mwisho wake, wala hakuna yeyote atakayemsaidia.
