Amos 1
1 [the] words of Amos who he was among the sheep-tenders from Tekoa which he saw on Israel in [the] days of - (Uzziah *L(abh)*) [the] king of Judah and in [the] days of Jeroboam [the] son of Joash [the] king of Israel two years before the earthquake.
Slova Amosova, (kterýž byl mezi pastýři) z Tekoa, kteráž viděl o Izraelovi za dnů Uziáše krále Judského, a za dnů Jeroboáma syna Joasova, krále Izraelského, dvě létě před země třesením.
2 And he said - Yahweh (from Zion *L(abh)*) he will roar and from Jerusalem he will give forth voice his and they will dry up [the] pastures of the shepherds and it will wither [the] top of Carmel.
I řekl: Hospodin řváti bude z Siona, a z Jeruzaléma vydá hlas svůj, i budou kvíliti salášové pastýřů, a vyschnou pole nejvýbornější.
3 Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Damascus and on four not I will revoke it because threshed they with [the] threshing sledges of iron Gilead.
Takto praví Hospodin: Pro troji nešlechetnost Damašku, ovšem pro čtveru neodpustím jemu, proto že mlátili Galáda cepami okovanými.
4 And I will send forth a fire on [the] house of Hazael and it will consume [the] fortresses of Ben Hadad.
Ale pošli oheň na dům Hazaelův, kterýžto zžíře paláce Benadadovy.
5 And I will break [the] bar of Damascus and I will cut off inhabitant[s] from [the] Valley of Aven and a holder of a scepter from Beth Eden and they will go into exile [the] people of Aram Kir towards he says Yahweh.
I polámi závoru Damašku, a vypléním obyvatele z údolí Aven, a toho, kterýž drží berlu, z domu Eden, i půjde v zajetí lid Syrský do Kir, dí Hospodin.
6 Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Gaza and on four not I will revoke it because carried away into exile they exile complete to deliver up [them] to Edom.
Takto praví Hospodin: Pro troji nešlechetnost Gázy, ovšem pro čtveru neslituji se nad ním, proto že je zajímajíce, v zajetí věčné podrobovali Idumejským.
7 And I will send forth a fire on [the] wall of Gaza and it will consume fortresses its.
Ale pošli oheň na zed Gázy, kterýžto zžíře paláce její,
8 And I will cut off inhabitant[s] from Ashdod and a holder of a scepter from Ashkelon and I will turn hand my on Ekron and they will perish [the] remnant of [the] Philistines he says [the] Lord Yahweh.
A vypléním obyvatele z Azotu, i toho, kterýž drží berlu, z Aškalon, a obrátím ruku svou proti Akaron, i zahyne ostatek Filistinských, praví Panovník Hospodin.
9 Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Tyre and on four not I will revoke it because delivered up they exile complete to Edom and not they remembered [the] covenant of brothers.
Takto praví Hospodin: Pro troji nešlechetnost Týru, ovšem pro čtveru neodpustím jemu, proto že je v zajetí věčné podrobili Idumejským, a nepamatovali na smlouvu bratrskou.
10 And I will send forth a fire on [the] wall of Tyre and it will consume fortresses its.
Ale pošli oheň na zed Tyrskou, kterýžto zžíře paláce jeho.
11 Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Edom and on four not I will revoke it because pursued he with the sword brother his and he spoiled compassion his and it tore for ever anger his and fury his he kept it perpetuity.
Takto praví Hospodin: Pro troji nešlechetnost Edoma, ovšem pro čtveru neslituji se nad ním, proto že udusiv v sobě všecku lítostivost, stihá mečem bratra svého, a hněv jeho ustavičně rozsapává, anobrž vzteklost jeho špehuje bez přestání.
12 And I will send forth a fire on Teman and it will consume [the] fortresses of Bozrah.
Ale pošli oheň na Teman, kterýžto zžíře paláce v Bozra.
13 Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of [the] people of Ammon and on four not I will revoke it because ripped open they [the] pregnant [women] of Gilead so as to enlarge territory their.
Toto praví Hospodin: Pro troji nešlechetnost synů Ammon, ovšem pro čtveru neodpustím jemu, proto že roztínali těhotné Galádské, jen aby rozšiřovali pomezí své.
14 And I will kindle a fire on [the] wall of Rabbah and it will consume fortresses its with a shout of alarm on [the] day of battle with a storm on [the] day of (a storm-wind *L(abh)*)
Ale zanítím oheň na zdi Rabba, kterýžto zžíře paláce její, s troubením v den boje a s bouří v den vichřice.
15 and he will go king their in exile he and officials his together he says Yahweh.
I půjde král jejich v zajetí, on i knížata jeho s ním, praví Hospodin.
