1 Thus he showed me [the] Lord Yahweh and there! a basket of summer fruit.

2 And he said what? [are] you seeing O Amos and I said a basket of summer fruit and he said Yahweh to me it has come the end to people my Israel not I will repeat again to pass by it.

3 And they will wail songs of [the] temple on the day that [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh many the corpse[s] in every place someone will throw hush!
Angraeng Sithaw mah, To na niah loe tempul thung ih laa lok to qahhaih lok ah angcoeng tih: ahmuen kruekah kadueh qok to om ueloe, angqai krang ah va o sut tih, tiah ang naa.
4 Hear this O those [who] trample on [the] needy and to put an end to ([the] afflicted [people] of *Q(K)*) [the] land.
Prae thung ih mithoe kaminawk to paaeh moe, amtang kaminawk amtimsak kaminawk hae lok hae tahngai oh.
5 Saying when? will it pass the new moon so we may sell grain grain and the sabbath so we may open grain to make small an ephah and to make great a shekel and to falsify balances of deceit.
Natuek naah maw khrah kangtha boeng tih? Kamtong to zawh hanah ka koeh o boeh; natuek naah maw Sabbath boeng tih? Cang zawh han ka koeh o boeh, tiah na thuih o; ephah kazit to anghoep toep ah na sak o, shekel kalen to kathoeng kae ah na sak o pacoengah, katoeng ai coih tahhaih to na patoh o:
6 To buy for silver poor [people] and [the] needy for sake of a pair of sandals and refuse of grain we will sell grain.

7 He has sworn Yahweh by [the] pride of Jacob if I will forget to perpetuity all deeds their.
Jakob amoek haih pongah nihcae toksakhaihnawk to natuek naah doeh ka pahnet mak ai, tiah Angraeng mah lokkamhaih to sak.
8 ¿ On this not will it tremble the land and he will mourn every [one who] dwells in it and it will rise like the light all of it and it will be tossed (and it will sink *Q(K)*) like [the] River of Egypt.
Hae pongah prae anghuenh ueloe, a thungah kaom kaminawk to palungsae o boih mak ai maw? Prae boih tuipui baktiah angthawk tih, Izip prae ih tuipui baktiah, tui mah pazawk ueloe, uem boih tih.
9 And it will be - on the day that [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh and I will cause to go the sun at noon and I will make dark the earth in a day of light.
To na niah loe, Athun ah ni ka duemsak moe, khodai ah long to kho ka vingsak han:
10 And I will turn feasts your into mourning and all songs your into lamentation and I will bring up on all loins sackcloth and on every head baldness and I will make it like [the] mourning of an only [son] and end its [will be] like a day bitter.

11 Here! - days [are] coming [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh and I will send a famine in the land not a famine for bread and not a thirst for water that except for hearing [the] words of Yahweh.
Angraeng Sithaw mah, Khenah, ani loe angzoh boeh, prae thungah takang thohhaih ka patoeh han, buh takang thohhaih ih na ai, tui takang thohhaih doeh na ai ah, Angraeng lok takang thohhaih to ka phaksak han.
12 And people will stagger from sea to sea and from [the] north and to [the] east they will rove about to seek [the] word of Yahweh and not they will find [it].
Kaminawk mah tuipui maeto hoi maeto bangah caeh o ueloe, aluek bang hoi ni angyae bang khoek to avak o tih; nihcae mah Angraeng ih lok pakrong hanah, ahnuk ahmaa cawn o tih; toe hnu o mak ai.
13 In the day that they will become faint the virgins beautiful and the young men by thirst.
To na niah kranghoih kacuem tanglanawk hoi thacak thendoengnawk loe tui anghaeh loiah thazok o sut tih.
14 Those [who] swear by [the] guilt of Samaria and they will say [by] [the] life of gods your O Dan and [by] [the] life of [the] way of Beer Sheba and they will fall and not they will rise again.
Samaria mah sak ih zaehaih hoiah lokkamhaih sah kaminawk hoi Aw Dan, na sithaw loe hing! Beersheba ih loklam loe hing! tiah thui kaminawk loe amtim o tih, natuek naah doeh angthawk o let mak ai boeh.
