Amos 7
1 Thus he showed me [the] Lord Yahweh and there! [he was] forming locusts at [the] beginning of [the] coming up of the spring-crop and there! a spring-crop after [the] mowings of the king.
Nầy là điều mà Chúa Giê-hô-va khiến ta xem thấy: Nầy, Ngài làm nên những cào cào trong lúc cỏ bắt đầu mọc lại; ấy là cỏ mọc lại sau các kỳ cắt cỏ của vua.
2 And it will be if it had finished to eat [the] vegetation of the land and I said O Lord Yahweh forgive please who? will he stand Jacob for [is] small he.
Khi cào cào đã cắn nuốt cỏ trong đất rồi, ta nói rằng: Hỡi Chúa Giê-hô-va, tôi cầu xin Ngài hãy tha thứ! Gia-cốp há có thể đứng được sao? vì nó là nhỏ.
3 He relented Yahweh on this not it will be he said Yahweh.
Ðức Giê-hô-va bèn ăn năn về việc nầy. Ðức Giê-hô-va phán rằng: Ðiều đó sẽ không xảy ra đâu.
4 Thus he showed me [the] Lord Yahweh and there! [was] calling for conducting a case by fire [the] Lord Yahweh and it consumed [the] deep great and it consumed the portion of land.
Chúa Giê-hô-va cho ta xem thấy như sau nầy: Nầy, Chúa Giê-hô-va khiến lấy lửa mà chống trả. Lửa ấy thiêu nuốt vực lớn, đoạn hầu ăn nuốt đất.
5 And I said O Lord Yahweh cease please who? will he stand Jacob for [is] small he.
Bấy giờ ta nói rằng: Hỡi Chúa Giê-hô-va, tôi cầu xin Ngài hãy thôi đi! Gia-cốp há có thể đứng được sao? vì nó là nhỏ.
6 He relented Yahweh on this also it not it will be he said [the] Lord Yahweh.
Ðức Giê-hô-va bèn ăn năn việc nầy. Chúa Giê-hô-va phán rằng: Ðiều đó cũng sẽ không xảy đến.
7 Thus he showed me and there! [the] Lord [was] standing on a wall of tin and [was] in hand his tin.
Ngài bèn cho ta xem thấy như sau nầy: Nầy, Chúa đứng trên một bức tường thẳng nảy mực, và tay Ngài cầm một dây chuẩn mực.
8 And he said Yahweh to me what? [are] you seeing O Amos and I said tin and he said [the] Lord here I [am] about to put tin in [the] midst of people my Israel not I will repeat again to pass by it.
Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cùng ta rằng: A-mốt, ngươi thấy gì? Ta thưa rằng: Một dây chuẩn mực. Chúa bèn phán: Nầy, ta sẽ đặt dây chuẩn mực giữa dân Y-sơ-ra-ên ta; ta sẽ không còn đi qua nó nữa.
9 And they will be made desolate [the] high places of Isaac and [the] sanctuaries of Israel they will be waste and I will arise on [the] house of Jeroboam with the sword.
Các nơi cao của Y-sác sẽ bị hoang vu, các nơi thánh của Y-sơ-ra-ên sẽ bị hủy phá, và ta sẽ dấy lên dùng gươm đánh nhà Giê-rô-bô-am.
10 And he sent Amaziah [the] priest of Beth-el to Jeroboam [the] king of Israel saying he has conspired on you Amos in [the] midst of [the] house of Israel not it is able the land to endure all words his.
Bấy giờ, A-ma-xia, thầy tế lễ của Bê-tên, khiến nói cùng Giê-rô-bô-am là vua Y-sơ-ra-ên rằng: A-mốt tập lập nghịch cùng vua, ở giữa nhà Y-sơ-ra-ên; đất chẳng chịu nổi mọi lời của nó.
11 For thus he has said Amos by the sword he will die Jeroboam and Israel certainly it will go into exile from on land its.
Thật vậy, nầy, A-mốt nói rằng: Giê-rô-bô-am sẽ chết bởi gươm, và Y-sơ-ra-ên chắc sẽ bị đày đi làm phu tù khỏi đất mình!
12 And he said Amaziah to Amos O seer go flee yourself to [the] land of Judah and eat there bread and there you will prophesy.
A-ma-xia nói cùng A-mốt rằng: Hỡi kẻ tiên kiến, khá đi khỏi đây. Hãy trốn trong đất Giu-đa, tại đó ăn bánh và nói tiên tri.
13 And Beth-el not you must repeat again to prophesy for [is] a sanctuary of a king it and [is] a house of kingdom it.
Nhưng chớ cứ nói tiên tri tại Bê-tên nữa; vì ấy là một nơi thánh của vua, và ấy là nhà vua.
14 And he answered Amos and he said to Amaziah not [am] a prophet I and not [am] a son of a prophet I for [was] a herdsman I and a fig picker of sycamores.
A-mốt trả lời cho A-ma-xia rằng: Ta không phải là đấng tiên tri, cũng không phải con đấng tiên tri; nhưng ta là một kẻ chăn, sửa soạn những cây vả rừng.
15 And he took me Yahweh from after the flock and he said to me Yahweh go prophesy to people my Israel.
Ðức Giê-hô-va đã bắt lấy ta từ sau bầy, và Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cùng ta rằng: Hãy đi nói tiên tri cho dân Y-sơ-ra-ên ta.
16 And therefore hear [the] word of Yahweh you [are] saying not you must prophesy on Israel and not you must prophesy on [the] house of Isaac.
Vả, hãy nghe lời của Ðức Giê-hô-va: Ngươi nói rằng: Chớ nói tiên tri nghịch cùng Y-sơ-ra-ên, và đừng nhỏ lời xuống nghịch cùng nhà Y-sác.
17 Therefore thus he says Yahweh wife your in the city she will be a prostitute and sons your and daughters your by the sword they will fall and land your with measuring-line it will be divided and you on ground unclean you will die and Israel certainly it will go into exile from on land its.
Cho nên Ðức Giê-hô-va phán như vầy: Vợ ngươi sẽ buông dâm trong thành; con trai và con gái ngươi sẽ ngã bởi gươm; đất ngươi sẽ bị chia bởi dây, còn ngươi, ngươi sẽ chết trong một đất ô uế, và Y-sơ-ra-ên chắc sẽ bị đày đi làm phu tù khỏi đất mình.
