Amos 7
1 Thus he showed me [the] Lord Yahweh and there! [he was] forming locusts at [the] beginning of [the] coming up of the spring-crop and there! a spring-crop after [the] mowings of the king.
Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he he kai n'tueng. Canghnong a moe cuek vaengah yuet a tawn ne. Te dongah manghai lotul phoeikah canghnong ni ne.
2 And it will be if it had finished to eat [the] vegetation of the land and I said O Lord Yahweh forgive please who? will he stand Jacob for [is] small he.
Khohmuen kah baelhing caak ham a khah coeng. Te dongah, “Ka Boeipa Yahovah aw, khodawkngai mai, Jakob amah he noe oeh tih ulong a thoh eh?” ka ti.
3 He relented Yahweh on this not it will be he said Yahweh.
BOEIPA loh ko a hlawt dongah BOEIPA loh, “He he om mahpawh,” a ti.
4 Thus he showed me [the] Lord Yahweh and there! [was] calling for conducting a case by fire [the] Lord Yahweh and it consumed [the] deep great and it consumed the portion of land.
Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he he kai m'hmuh sak. Ho hamla ka Boeipa Yahovah loh hmai neh a khue coeng ke. Tuidung puei te a yoop tih khoyo te a hlawp.
5 And I said O Lord Yahweh cease please who? will he stand Jacob for [is] small he.
Te vaengah, “Ka Boeipa Yahovah aw, paa mai laeh, Jakob amah he noe oeh tih ulong a thoh eh?” ka ti.
6 He relented Yahweh on this also it not it will be he said [the] Lord Yahweh.
He ham he BOEIPA loh ko a hlawt dongah ka Boeipa Yahovah loh, “Te khaw om mahpawh,” a ti.
7 Thus he showed me and there! [the] Lord [was] standing on a wall of tin and [was] in hand his tin.
He he kai n'tueng vaengah ka Boeipa tah vongtung soah mikrhael rhui neh pai tih a kut dongah mikrhael rhui om.
8 And he said Yahweh to me what? [are] you seeing O Amos and I said tin and he said [the] Lord here I [am] about to put tin in [the] midst of people my Israel not I will repeat again to pass by it.
Te phoeiah BOEIPA loh kai taengah, “Amos nang balae na hmuh,” n'ti nah tih, “Mikrhael rhui,” ka ti nah. Te dongah ka Boeipa loh, “Ka pilnam Israel lakli ah mikrhael rhui ka khueh coeng ne. Anih te pah hamla ka koei voel mahpawh.
9 And they will be made desolate [the] high places of Isaac and [the] sanctuaries of Israel they will be waste and I will arise on [the] house of Jeroboam with the sword.
Isaak kah hmuensang te pong vetih Israel kah rhokso khaw khap uh ni. Jeroboam imkhui te cunghang neh ka pai thil ni,” a ti.
10 And he sent Amaziah [the] priest of Beth-el to Jeroboam [the] king of Israel saying he has conspired on you Amos in [the] midst of [the] house of Israel not it is able the land to endure all words his.
Te vaengah Bethel khosoih Amaziah te Israel manghai Jeroboam taengla a tueih tih, “Israel im kah kotak ah Amos loh nang n'taeng thil. A ol boeih ueh ham khaw khohmuen loh a noeng moenih.
11 For thus he has said Amos by the sword he will die Jeroboam and Israel certainly it will go into exile from on land its.
Te dongah Amos loh, ‘Jeroboam te cunghang dongah duek vetih Israel te a khohmuen dong lamloh a poelyoe rhoe a poelyoe ni,’ a ti,” a ti nah.
12 And he said Amaziah to Amos O seer go flee yourself to [the] land of Judah and eat there bread and there you will prophesy.
Te vaengah Amaziah loh Amos te, “Khohmu Nang te Judah khohmuen la cet lamtah yong laeh. Buh pahoi ca lamtah hnap tonghma nawn.
13 And Beth-el not you must repeat again to prophesy for [is] a sanctuary of a king it and [is] a house of kingdom it.
Tedae Bethel te tonghma thil ham koep koei boeh. He he manghai rhokso neh ram kah im ni,” a ti nah.
14 And he answered Amos and he said to Amaziah not [am] a prophet I and not [am] a son of a prophet I for [was] a herdsman I and a fig picker of sycamores.
Te dongah Amos loh a doo tih Amaziah te, “Kai he tonghma moenih, kai he tonghma capa moenih. Kai he saeldawn ni, thaihae ni ka hloe.
15 And he took me Yahweh from after the flock and he said to me Yahweh go prophesy to people my Israel.
Tedae BOEIPA loh kai he boiva hnuk lamloh n'loh. Te vaengah BOEIPA loh kai te, “Cet lamtah ka pilnam Israel taengah tonghma laeh,” a ti.
16 And therefore hear [the] word of Yahweh you [are] saying not you must prophesy on Israel and not you must prophesy on [the] house of Isaac.
Te dongah, ‘Israel taengah tonghma boel lamtah Isaak imkhui te saep boeh,’ na ti akhaw BOEIPA ol mah hnatun dae.
17 Therefore thus he says Yahweh wife your in the city she will be a prostitute and sons your and daughters your by the sword they will fall and land your with measuring-line it will be divided and you on ground unclean you will die and Israel certainly it will go into exile from on land its.
Te dongah BOEIPA loh he ni a thui. ‘Na yuu te khopuei khuiah cukhalh vetih na capa neh na canu te cunghang dongah cungku uh ni. Na khohmuen khaw rhuihet loh a boe ni. Namah khaw diklai ah rhalawt la na duek ni. Israel te a khohmuen dongah lamloh a poelyoe rhoe a poelyoe uh ni,” a ti nah.
