Amos 6
1 Woe to! the [people] at ease in Zion and those [who] trust in [the] mountain of Samaria [the] distinguished [people] of [the] first of the nations and they will come to them [the] house of Israel.
Malheur à ceux qui méprisent Sion, et qui mettent leur confiance en la montagne de Samarie! Ils ont recueilli les prémices des nations, puis ils sont entrés.
2 Pass over Calneh and see and go from there Hamath-Rabbah and go down Gath of [the] Philistines ¿ [are they] good more than the kingdoms these or? great [is] territory their more than territory your.
Passez tous auprès, et voyez; et de là traversez Ématrabba, et de là descendez à Geth des Philistins; ce sont les plus puissants de tous les royaumes. Voyez si leurs frontières sont plus étendues que vos frontières.
3 Those [who] push away a day evil and you have brought near! a seat of violence.
Vous qui venez pour le mauvais jour, vous qui approchez des sabbats trompeurs, et vous y attachez;
4 Those [who] lie on beds of ivory and [people] sprawled out on couches their and [those who] eat lambs from [the] flock and calves from [the] midst of [the] stall.
vous qui dormez sur des lits d'ivoire, et vous y étendez pour vivre avec mollesse; vous qui mangez les chevreaux de votre menu bétail, et de jeunes veaux tirés de vos troupeaux et nourris de lait;
5 Those [who] improvise on [the] mouth of the lyre like David they have devised for themselves instruments of song.
vous qui battez des mains au son des instruments! Ils ont cru que ces choses seraient durables, et non fugitives.
6 Those [who] drink in bowls of wine and [the] best of oils they smear and not they were sickened on [the] ruin of (Joseph *L(abh)*)
Vous qui buvez du vin clarifié, et vous parfumez de la meilleure myrrhe, et ne souffrez nullement de l'affliction de Joseph.
7 therefore now they will go into exile at [the] head of [those who] go into exile and it will come to an end [the] revelry of sprawled out [people].
À cause de cela, ils passeront de la puissance des forts à la captivité, et l'on n'entendra plus le hennissement des chevaux en Éphraïm.
8 He has sworn [the] Lord Yahweh by self his [the] utterance of Yahweh God of hosts [am] loathing I [the] pride of Jacob and fortresses his I hate and I will deliver up [the] city and what fills it.
Car le Seigneur en Lui-même a juré, disant: Puisque J'ai en abomination toute l'insolence de Jacob, j'ai pris également en haine leurs contrées, J'effacerai donc la ville avec tous ceux qui l'habitent.
9 And it will be if they will remain ten men in a house one and they will die.
Et voici ce qui arrivera: Si dans une maison il y a dix hommes, ils mourront; et ceux qui y resteront cachés mourront aussi.
10 And he will lift up him loved one his and [the one who] burns him to bring out bones from the house and he will say to [the one] who [is] in [the] innermost parts of the house ¿ still [is anyone] with you and he will say no and he will say hush! for not to bring to remembrance [the] name of Yahweh.
Et leurs parents les prendront, et ils se feront violence pour enlever leurs os de la maison; et l'on dira au chef de la maison: Y a-t-il encore quelqu'un avec toi? Et celui-ci répondra: Il n'y a personne; et le premier répondra: Tais-toi, garde-toi de prononcer le Nom du Seigneur.
11 For here! Yahweh [is] commanding and someone will strike the house great fragments and the house small rubble.
Car voilà que le Seigneur a donné Ses ordres; et Il frappera les grandes maisons pour ouvrir des brèches, et les petites pour y faire des crevasses.
12 ¿ Do they run! on the crag[s] horses or? does anyone plow with oxen for you have turned into poison justice and [the] fruit of righteousness into wormwood.
Les chevaux peuvent-ils courir au milieu des rochers? Peuvent-ils s'empêcher de hennir au milieu des cavales? Vous qui à la place du jugement avez mis la colère, et qui avez changé en amertume les fruits de la justice;
13 The joyful [people] to Lo Debar who say ¿ not by own strength our have we taken for ourselves Karnaim.
vous qui mettez votre joie dans le néant; vous qui dites: N'est-ce point par notre force que nous avons des fronts puissants?
14 For here I [am] about to raise up on you O house of Israel [the] utterance of Yahweh [the] God of hosts a nation and they will oppress you from Lebo Hamath to [the] wadi of Arabah.
Maison d'Israël, J'exciterai contre vous une nation, dit le Seigneur Dieu des armées; et elle vous brisera depuis l'entrée d'Émath jusqu'au torrent du désert d'Occident.
