Amos 6
1 Woe to! the [people] at ease in Zion and those [who] trust in [the] mountain of Samaria [the] distinguished [people] of [the] first of the nations and they will come to them [the] house of Israel.
Malheur à ceux qui sont à l'aise dans Sion, et à ceux qui sont en sécurité sur la montagne de Samarie, les hommes remarquables du chef des nations, vers qui la maison d'Israël vient!
2 Pass over Calneh and see and go from there Hamath-Rabbah and go down Gath of [the] Philistines ¿ [are they] good more than the kingdoms these or? great [is] territory their more than territory your.
Va à Calneh, et regarde. De là, allez à Hamath la grande. Puis descends à Gath des Philistins. Sont-ils meilleurs que ces royaumes? Leur frontière est-elle plus grande que la vôtre?
3 Those [who] push away a day evil and you have brought near! a seat of violence.
Hélas pour vous qui repoussez loin le jour mauvais, et faire en sorte que le siège de la violence s'approche,
4 Those [who] lie on beds of ivory and [people] sprawled out on couches their and [those who] eat lambs from [the] flock and calves from [the] midst of [the] stall.
qui reposent sur des lits d'ivoire, et s'étirent sur leur canapé, et manger les agneaux du troupeau, et les veaux au milieu de la stalle,
5 Those [who] improvise on [the] mouth of the lyre like David they have devised for themselves instruments of song.
qui grattent les cordes d'une harpe, qui s'inventent des instruments de musique, comme David;
6 Those [who] drink in bowls of wine and [the] best of oils they smear and not they were sickened on [the] ruin of (Joseph *L(abh)*)
qui boivent du vin dans des bols, et s'oignent avec les meilleures huiles, mais ils ne sont pas affligés par l'affliction de Joseph.
7 therefore now they will go into exile at [the] head of [those who] go into exile and it will come to an end [the] revelry of sprawled out [people].
C'est pourquoi ils iront maintenant en captivité avec les premiers qui iront en captivité. Le festin et le farniente prendront fin.
8 He has sworn [the] Lord Yahweh by self his [the] utterance of Yahweh God of hosts [am] loathing I [the] pride of Jacob and fortresses his I hate and I will deliver up [the] city and what fills it.
« Le Seigneur Yahvé l'a juré par lui-même », dit Yahvé, le Dieu des armées: « Je déteste l'orgueil de Jacob, et détester ses forteresses. C'est pourquoi je livrerai la ville et tout ce qu'elle contient.
9 And it will be if they will remain ten men in a house one and they will die.
Il arrivera que si dix hommes restent dans une maison, ils mourront.
10 And he will lift up him loved one his and [the one who] burns him to bring out bones from the house and he will say to [the one] who [is] in [the] innermost parts of the house ¿ still [is anyone] with you and he will say no and he will say hush! for not to bring to remembrance [the] name of Yahweh.
« Lorsque le parent d'un homme le porte, même celui qui le brûle, pour faire sortir des cadavres de la maison, et qu'il demande à celui qui est dans les entrailles de la maison: 'Y a-t-il encore quelqu'un avec toi?'. Et qu'il répond: 'Non', alors il dira: 'Chut! En effet, nous ne devons pas mentionner le nom de Yahvé.'
11 For here! Yahweh [is] commanding and someone will strike the house great fragments and the house small rubble.
« Car voici que Yahvé ordonne, et la grande maison sera réduite en miettes, et la petite maison en morceaux.
12 ¿ Do they run! on the crag[s] horses or? does anyone plow with oxen for you have turned into poison justice and [the] fruit of righteousness into wormwood.
Les chevaux courent-ils sur les rochers? Est-ce qu'on y laboure avec des bœufs? Mais vous avez transformé la justice en poison, et le fruit de la justice en amertume,
13 The joyful [people] to Lo Debar who say ¿ not by own strength our have we taken for ourselves Karnaim.
vous qui vous réjouissez d'une chose de rien, qui dites, « N'avons-nous pas pris pour nous-mêmes des cornes par notre propre force?
14 For here I [am] about to raise up on you O house of Israel [the] utterance of Yahweh [the] God of hosts a nation and they will oppress you from Lebo Hamath to [the] wadi of Arabah.
Car voici que je vais susciter contre vous une nation, la maison d'Israël ». dit Yahvé, le Dieu des Armées; « et ils te feront souffrir depuis l'entrée de Hamath jusqu'au ruisseau de la plaine. »
