< Amos 6 >

1 Woe to! the [people] at ease in Zion and those [who] trust in [the] mountain of Samaria [the] distinguished [people] of [the] first of the nations and they will come to them [the] house of Israel.
Nangcae Zion ah phuhnaep kaminawk, Samaria mae angoep haih kaminawk, Israel kaminawk angzohhaih, acaeng kalah kaminawk pongah ka sang koek, tiah poekhaih tawn kaminawk, khosak na bing o!
2 Pass over Calneh and see and go from there Hamath-Rabbah and go down Gath of [the] Philistines ¿ [are they] good more than the kingdoms these or? great [is] territory their more than territory your.
Kalneh ah caeh oh loe, khen oh; to hoiah thacak Hamath ah caeh oh; to pacoengah Philistia ah kaom Gath ah caeh o tathuk ah: nangcae loe to ah kaom siangpahrang ukhaih praenawk pongah na hoih o kue maw? To tih ai boeh loe nihcae ih ramri pongah nangcae ih ramri to len kue maw?
3 Those [who] push away a day evil and you have brought near! a seat of violence.
Sethaih ni to na suek o sut moe, athii palonghaih to nang hnai o sak lat;
4 Those [who] lie on beds of ivory and [people] sprawled out on couches their and [those who] eat lambs from [the] flock and calves from [the] midst of [the] stall.
tasaino hoiah sak ih iihkhun nuiah na ih o, anghnuthaih kasawk nuiah nang hnuk o moe, kahoih koek tuucaa hoi maitaw kathawk moi hoiah buh na caak o;
5 Those [who] improvise on [the] mouth of the lyre like David they have devised for themselves instruments of song.
David baktiah nangmacae hanah katoeng to na sak o moe, tamoi lok hoiah koeh baktiah laa to na sak o.
6 Those [who] drink in bowls of wine and [the] best of oils they smear and not they were sickened on [the] ruin of (Joseph *L(abh)*)
Boengloeng koi mongah misurtui to na naek o, kahoih koek hmuihoih tui to nang nok o, Joseph pacaekthlaekhaih pongah palung na sae o ai.
7 therefore now they will go into exile at [the] head of [those who] go into exile and it will come to an end [the] revelry of sprawled out [people].
To pongah nangcae loe tamna ah caeh kaminawk thungah hmaloe koek kami ah na om o tih; nihcae ih kanawm poihsakhaih loe boeng tih boeh.
8 He has sworn [the] Lord Yahweh by self his [the] utterance of Yahweh God of hosts [am] loathing I [the] pride of Jacob and fortresses his I hate and I will deliver up [the] city and what fills it.
Angraeng Sithaw angmah roe mah lokkamhaih to sak boeh, misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng Sithaw mah, Jakob amoekhaih to ka panuet, anih angraenghaih ahmuennawk to ka hnukma; to pong ah vangpui hoi a thungah kaom hmuennawk boih minawk ban ah ka paek han, tiah thuih.
9 And it will be if they will remain ten men in a house one and they will die.
Imthung maeto ah kami hato anghmat o nahaeloe, nihcae doeh dueh o vop tih.
10 And he will lift up him loved one his and [the one who] burns him to bring out bones from the house and he will say to [the one] who [is] in [the] innermost parts of the house ¿ still [is anyone] with you and he will say no and he will say hush! for not to bring to remembrance [the] name of Yahweh.
Hmaiqoeng hanah kadueh qok to imthung hoi lak naah, nang hoi kaom kami imthung ah oh vop maw? tiah anih han lokdueng tih, to naah anih mah, Om ai boeh, tiah thui tih. To pacoengah anih mah, Om duem ah, aicae mah Angraeng ih ahmin thuih han om ai, tiah naa tih.
11 For here! Yahweh [is] commanding and someone will strike the house great fragments and the house small rubble.
Khenah, Angraeng mah lokpaek boeh, anih mah kalen im to phrae ueloe, tetta im doeh phrae boih tih.
12 ¿ Do they run! on the crag[s] horses or? does anyone plow with oxen for you have turned into poison justice and [the] fruit of righteousness into wormwood.
Thlung kathah nuiah hrang cawnh thai maw? Kami mah maitaw tae hoi thlung nuiah laikok atok thai maw? Nangcae mah toenghaih to kakhaa ahmuet ah nang coeng o sak moe, toenghaih athaih to na khaa o sak ving boeh.
13 The joyful [people] to Lo Debar who say ¿ not by own strength our have we taken for ourselves Karnaim.
Nangcae loe tidoeh kaom ai, hmuen nuiah anghoehaih na tawnh o; aimacae tharahhaih rang hoiah na ai maw takiinawk to a lak o? tiah na thuih o.
14 For here I [am] about to raise up on you O house of Israel [the] utterance of Yahweh [the] God of hosts a nation and they will oppress you from Lebo Hamath to [the] wadi of Arabah.
Khenah, misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng Sithaw mah, Aw Israel imthung takoh, nangcae tuk hanah prae maeto ka pathawk han, nihcae mah nangcae to Hamath akunhaih hoi praezaek vapui karoek to na pacaekthlaek o tih, tiah thuih.
