Amos 5
1 Hear the word this which I [am] lifting up on you a lamentation O house of Israel.
१इस्राएलाचे घराणे हो, हे वचन जे विलापासारखे आहे, असे तुमच्याकडे आणतो ते ऐका.
2 She has fallen not she will repeat to rise [the] virgin of Israel she has been abandoned on own land her there not [is one who] raises up her.
२इस्राएलाची कुमारिका पडली आहे; ती पुन्हा कधीही उठणार नाही; तिला एकटीलाच सोडून दिले आहे, तिला उठवणारा कोणीही नाही.
3 For thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh the city which goes out a thousand it will have left a hundred and which goes out a hundred it will have left ten of [the] house of Israel.
३परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “ज्या शहरातून हजार निघाले त्यामध्ये फक्त शंभर उरतील आणि ज्यातून शंभर असत त्यामध्ये इस्राएलाच्या घराण्याला दहा उरतील.”
4 For thus he says Yahweh to [the] house of Israel seek me and live.
४परमेश्वर इस्राएलाच्या घराण्याला असे म्हणतो, “मला शोधा म्हणजे तुम्ही जिवंत रहाल.”
5 And may not you seek Beth-el and Gilgal not you must go and Beer Sheba not you must pass over for Gilgal certainly it will go into exile and Beth-el it will become trouble.
५पण बेथेलास शरण जाऊ नका; गिल्गालला जाऊ नका; सीमा ओलांडून खाली बैर-शेबालाही जाऊ नका. गिलगालमधील लोकांस कैदी म्हणून नेले जाईल, आणि बेथेल नाहीसे होईल.
6 Seek Yahweh and live lest he should rush like fire [the] house of Joseph and it will consume and not [one who] extinguishes [it] [will belong] to Beth-el.
६परमेश्वरास शोधा म्हणजे तुम्ही जिवंत रहाल, नाहीतर तो अग्नीसारखा योसेफाच्या घरावर पडेल आणि ते भस्मसात होऊन जाईल आणि त्यास विझवायला बेथेलमधे कोणी नसणार.
7 O those [who] turn into wormwood justice and righteousness to the ground they thrust down.
७जे तुम्ही न्यायाला कडूपणामध्ये बदलता आणि न्यायीपण धुळीस मिळवता,
8 [the] maker of Pleiades and Orion and [the one who] turns into morning deep darkness and day night he makes dark the [one who] summons [the] waters of the sea and he poured out them on [the] surface of the earth [is] Yahweh name his.
८ते तुम्ही, ज्याने कृत्तिका व मृगशीर्ष ही नक्षत्रे बनवली, तोच दिवसाचे परिवर्तन काळोख्या रात्रीत करतो; आणि दिवसास रात्रीने अंधकारमय करतो; समुद्रातील पाण्याला बोलावून पृथ्वीच्या पाठीवर ओततो, त्याचे नाव “परमेश्वर” आहे.
9 The [who] causes to flash devastation on [the] strong and devastation on a fortress it will come.
९तो बलवानावर एकाएकी नाश आणतो म्हणून किल्ल्यांवर नाश येतो.
10 They hate in the gate [one who] reproves and [one who] speaks blameless they abhor.
१०जे त्यांना वेशींवर सरळ करु ईच्छीतात, त्यांचा ते द्वेष करतात, आणि जे सत्य बोलतात त्यांचा ते तिरस्कार करतात.
11 Therefore because trample you on [the] poor and a portion of grain you take from him houses of hewn [stone] you have built and not you will dwell in them vineyards of delight you have planted and not you will drink wine their.

12 For I know many transgressions your and numerous sins your O opposers of [the] righteous O takers of ransom and needy [people] in the gate they turn aside.

13 Therefore the prudent [person] at the time that he will be silent for [is] a time evil it.

14 Seek good and may not [it be] evil so that you will live and it may be thus Yahweh God of hosts [will be] with you just as you have said.
१४तुम्ही जगावे म्हणून जे उत्तम आहे त्याचा शोध करा, वाईटाला शोधू नका. म्हणजे जसे तुम्ही म्हणता, त्याप्रमाणे सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वर देव खरोखरच तुमच्याबरोबर येईल.
15 Hate evil and love good and set up in the gate justice perhaps he will show favor to Yahweh God of hosts [the] remnant of Joseph.
१५वाईटाचा द्वेष करा व चांगुलपणावर प्रेम करा, नगराच्या वेशीत न्याय स्थापित करा. मग कदाचित सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वर देव, योसेफाच्या वाचलेल्या वंशजांवर कृपा करील.
16 Therefore thus he says Yahweh God of hosts [the] Lord [will be] in all [the] open places wailing and in all [the] streets people will say alas! alas! and people will call a farmer to mourning and wailing to [those who] know lamentation.
१६यास्तव सेनाधीश परमेश्वर देव, प्रभू असे म्हणतो, “सर्व चव्हाट्यावर रडणे असेल, आणि गल्लोगल्ली लोक हाय हाय करतील, आणि ते शेतकऱ्याला शोक करायला आणि विलाप करण्यात चतुर असलेल्यांना आक्रोश करायला बोलवून आणतील.
17 And [will be] in all [the] vineyards wailing for I will pass in midst your he says Yahweh.
१७द्राक्षमळ्यांत लोक रडत असतील, कारण मी तुमच्यामध्ये फिरत जाईन.” असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
18 Woe to! those [who] desire [the] day of Yahweh why? this to you [the] day of Yahweh it [will be] darkness and not light.
१८जे परमेश्वराच्या न्यायाच्या दिवसाची इच्छा धरतात त्यांना हाय हाय! तुम्हास तो दिवस का बरे पहावयाचा आहे? तो अंधार आहे, उजेड नाही.
19 Just as he flees someone from before the lion and it meets him the bear and he goes the house and he leans hand his on the wall and it bites him the snake.
१९जणू काय एखादा मनुष्य सिंहापासून दूर पळून गेला आणि अस्वलाने त्यास गाठले, अथवा घरात जाऊन त्याने भिंतीवर हात ठेवला आणि त्यास साप चावाला.
20 ¿ Not [be] darkness [will] [the] day of Yahweh and not light and gloomy and not brightness [will belong] to it.
२०परमेश्वराचा दिवस प्रकाश न होता अंधार होणार नाही काय? प्रकाशाचा एक किरण नसलेला व त्यामध्ये काही तेज नाही असा असेल.
21 I hate I reject feasts your and not I delight in assemblies your.
२१“मला तुमच्या सणांचा तिरस्कार वाटतो, मी ते मान्य करणार नाही. तुमच्या धार्मिक सभा मला आवडत नाहीत.
22 That except you will offer up to me burnt offerings and grain offerings your not I will accept [them] and [the] peace offering of fatlings your not I will pay attention to.
२२तुम्ही मला होमार्पणे व अन्नार्पणे जरी दिलीत, तरी मी ती स्वीकारणार नाही, शांत्यर्पणात, तुम्ही दिलेल्या पुष्ट प्राण्यांकडे मी पाहणारसुध्दा नाही.
23 Remove from with me [the] noise of songs your and [the] music of lyres your not I will listen to.
२३तुमच्या गाण्यांच्या कोलाहल येथून दूर न्या, तुमच्या वीणांचा आवज मी ऐकणार नाही.
24 And it may roll on like water justice and righteousness like a wadi ever-flowing.
२४तर जलांप्रमाणे न्याय व न्यायीपण अविरतपणे वाहणाऱ्या प्रवाहाप्रमाणे वाहो.
25 ¿ Sacrifices and grain offering[s] did you bring near to me in the wilderness forty year[s] O house of Israel.
२५इस्राएल, वाळवंटात, चाळीस वर्षे तू मला यज्ञ व दाने अर्पणे करत होता काय?
26 And you will lift up Sikkuth king your and Kiyyun images your [the] star of gods your which you made for yourselves.
२६तुम्ही तर आपल्या राजाचा डेरा व तुमच्या मूर्तीचा देव्हारा, आपणासाठी केलेला तुमच्या देवाचा तारा, ही वाहून न्याल.
27 And I will send into exile you from beyond Damascus he says [is] Yahweh God of hosts name his.
२७म्हणून मी तुम्हास कैदी म्हणून दिमिष्काच्या पलीकडे घालवीन.” असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो. सेनाधीश देव हे त्याचे नाव आहे.
