Amos 5
1 Hear the word this which I [am] lifting up on you a lamentation O house of Israel.

2 She has fallen not she will repeat to rise [the] virgin of Israel she has been abandoned on own land her there not [is one who] raises up her.
Israel oila te tla coeng tih a thoh ham koei voel pawh. A khohmuen ah a phap coeng tih anih aka thoh om pawh.
3 For thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh the city which goes out a thousand it will have left a hundred and which goes out a hundred it will have left ten of [the] house of Israel.
Te dongah ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a thui. Khopuei te thawngkhat la khong cakhaw yakhat la cul ni. Yakhat khong mai cakhaw Israel imkhui ham tah parha la cul ni.
4 For thus he says Yahweh to [the] house of Israel seek me and live.
BOEIPA loh he ni a thui. Israel imkhui nang te kai n'toem uh lamtah hing uh.
5 And may not you seek Beth-el and Gilgal not you must go and Beer Sheba not you must pass over for Gilgal certainly it will go into exile and Beth-el it will become trouble.
Bethel te toem uh boel lamtah Gilgal te paan uh boeh. Beersheba te khaw pah uh boeh. Gilgal te a poelyoe rhoe a poelyoe uh vetih Bethel khaw boethae la om ni.
6 Seek Yahweh and live lest he should rush like fire [the] house of Joseph and it will consume and not [one who] extinguishes [it] [will belong] to Beth-el.
BOEIPA te toem uh lamtah hing uh. Joseph im kah hmai bangla thaihtak vetih n'hlawp ve. Bethel te aka thih te om mahpawh.
7 O those [who] turn into wormwood justice and righteousness to the ground they thrust down.
Tiktamnah khaw pantong la poeh tih duengnah te diklai la tloeng uh.
8 [the] maker of Pleiades and Orion and [the one who] turns into morning deep darkness and day night he makes dark the [one who] summons [the] waters of the sea and he poured out them on [the] surface of the earth [is] Yahweh name his.
Airhitbom neh buhol aka saii, dueknah hlipkhup te mincang la aka khueh, khothaih te khoyin bangla aka hmuep sak, tuipuei tui te a khue tih diklai hman ah aka hawk kah a ming tah Yahweh ni.
9 The [who] causes to flash devastation on [the] strong and devastation on a fortress it will come.
Aka tlung sokah rhoelrhanah neh a ngaidip tih hmuencak taengah rhoelrhanah a pai sak.
10 They hate in the gate [one who] reproves and [one who] speaks blameless they abhor.
Vongka ah ol aka tloek te a hmuhuet uh tih cuemthuek la aka thui te a tuei uh.
11 Therefore because trample you on [the] poor and a portion of grain you take from him houses of hewn [stone] you have built and not you will dwell in them vineyards of delight you have planted and not you will drink wine their.
Te dongah tattloel soah na sundaep uh tih a taengkah cangpai buham te na loh uh. Lungrhaih im na thoh uh cakhaw a khuiah kho na sa uh mahpawh. Naidoeh misurdum na tawn uh cakhaw a misurtui te na o uh mahpawh.
12 For I know many transgressions your and numerous sins your O opposers of [the] righteous O takers of ransom and needy [people] in the gate they turn aside.
Na boekoeknah khawk tih na tholhnah a ping khaw ka ming ta. Aka dueng te na daengdaeh uh tih tlansum na loh uh dongah khodaeng rhoek tah vongka ah a kaeng uh.
13 Therefore the prudent [person] at the time that he will be silent for [is] a time evil it.
Te dongah a tue neh aka cueih long he tah yoethae tue ham he khaw kuemsuem coeng.
14 Seek good and may not [it be] evil so that you will live and it may be thus Yahweh God of hosts [will be] with you just as you have said.
A then na toem uh tih na thae pawt daengah ni na hing uh eh. Te vaengah ni na thui bangla nang taengah caempuei Pathen BOEIPA te a om tangloeng eh.
15 Hate evil and love good and set up in the gate justice perhaps he will show favor to Yahweh God of hosts [the] remnant of Joseph.
A thae te thiinah uh lamtah a then te lungnah uh, vongka ah tiktamnah khueh lah, caempuei Pathen BOEIPA loh Joseph kah a meet te a rhen khaming.
16 Therefore thus he says Yahweh God of hosts [the] Lord [will be] in all [the] open places wailing and in all [the] streets people will say alas! alas! and people will call a farmer to mourning and wailing to [those who] know lamentation.

17 And [will be] in all [the] vineyards wailing for I will pass in midst your he says Yahweh.
Nang khui longah ka pah ham dongah misurdum boeih ah rhaengsaelung om saeh tila BOEIPA loh a thui.
18 Woe to! those [who] desire [the] day of Yahweh why? this to you [the] day of Yahweh it [will be] darkness and not light.
Anunae BOEIPA kah khohnin aka ngaidam rhoek aih. BOEIPA khohnin te nangmih ham metla a om eh. Te tah hmaisuep la om tih vangnah om pawt lah ko.
19 Just as he flees someone from before the lion and it meets him the bear and he goes the house and he leans hand his on the wall and it bites him the snake.
Hlang te sathueng mikhmuh lamloh rhaelrham sitoe cakhaw anih te vom loh a cuuk thil. Im a pha tih pangbueng dongah a kut a tloeng dae anih te rhul loh a tuk.
20 ¿ Not [be] darkness [will] [the] day of Yahweh and not light and gloomy and not brightness [will belong] to it.
BOEIPA kah khohnin tah a hmuep moenih a? Vangnah om pawt tih a hmueprhut dongah a aa om pawh.
21 I hate I reject feasts your and not I delight in assemblies your.
Na khotue te ka hmuhuet tih ka kohnue coeng dongah na pahong te ka him moenih.
22 That except you will offer up to me burnt offerings and grain offerings your not I will accept [them] and [the] peace offering of fatlings your not I will pay attention to.
Kai taengla hmueihhlutnah nang khuen uh mai sitoe cakhaw nangmih kah khocang te ka doe mahpawh. Nangmih kah rhoepnah puetsuet khaw ka paelki moenih.
23 Remove from with me [the] noise of songs your and [the] music of lyres your not I will listen to.
Kai taeng lamloh khoe uh laeh. Na laa rhoi neh na thangpa oldi khaw ka hnatun moenih.
24 And it may roll on like water justice and righteousness like a wadi ever-flowing.
Tedae tiktamnah he tui bangla hol uh saeh lamtah duengnah soklong bangla tangkuek saeh.
25 ¿ Sacrifices and grain offering[s] did you bring near to me in the wilderness forty year[s] O house of Israel.
Israel imkhui aw, khosoek kah kum sawmli khuiah kai taengla hmueih neh khocang nang khuen uh a?
26 And you will lift up Sikkuth king your and Kiyyun images your [the] star of gods your which you made for yourselves.
Na manghai Sakkuth neh Khiun te na muei la na ludoeng uh. Na pathen aisi te namamih ham na saii uh.
27 And I will send into exile you from beyond Damascus he says [is] Yahweh God of hosts name his.
Te dongah nangmih te Damasku kah a voel duela kam poelyoe ni tila a ming neh caempuei Pathen BOEIPA loh a thui.
