< Amos 2 >
1 Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Moab and on four not I will revoke it because burned he [the] bones of [the] king of Edom into lime.
Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh: “Gapu iti tallo a basol ti Moab, wenno gapu iti uppat, saanko nga ibabawi ti pannusa gapu ta pinuoranna dagiti tulang ti ari ti Edom agingga a nagbalin nga apug.
2 And I will send forth a fire on Moab and it will consume [the] fortresses of Kerioth and it will die in uproar Moab with a shout of alarm with [the] sound of a trumpet.
Mangidissuorakto iti apuy idiay Moab ket daytoyto ti mangkisap kadagiti sarikedked ti Keriot. Matayto ti Moab iti maysa nga arimbangaw nga adda panagpupukkaw ken panaguni iti trumpeta.
3 And I will cut off a judge from midst its and all officials its I will kill with him he says Yahweh.
Dadaelekto ti ukom nga adda kenkuana ket patayekto amin dagiti prinsipe a kaduana,” kuna ni Yahweh.
4 Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Judah and on four not I will revoke it because have rejected they [the] law of Yahweh and statutes his not they have kept and they have misled them lies their which they walked ancestors their after them.
Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh: “Gapu iti tallo a basol ti Juda, wenno gapu iti uppat, saanko nga ibabawi ti pannusa gapu ta linaksidda ti linteg ni Yahweh ken saanda a tinungpal dagiti bilinna. Dagiti kinaulbodda ti nangiyaw-awan kadakuada a kas iti dalan a napanan dagiti ammada.
5 And I will send forth a fire on Judah and it will consume [the] fortresses of Jerusalem.
Mangidissuorakto iti apuy idiay Juda ket mapuoranto a mamimpinsan dagiti sarikedked ti Jerusalem.”
6 Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Israel and on four not I will revoke it because sold they for silver [the] righteous and [the] needy for sake of a pair of sandals.
Kastoy ti kiuna ni Yahweh: “Gapu iti tallo a basol ti Israel, wenno gapu iti uppat, saanko nga ibabawi ti pannusa gapu ta inlakoda ti awan basolna gapu iti pirak ken dagiti agkasapulan gapu iti sangapares a sandalias.
7 Those [who] trample on [the] dust of [the] earth on [the] head of poor [people] and [the] way of humble [people] they turn aside and a man and father his they go into the young woman so as to profane [the] name of holiness my.
Badbaddekanda ti ulo dagiti marigrigat a kas iti pangibaddek dagiti tattao iti tapok ti daga; iwalwalinda ti maidaddadanes. Kakaiddaen ti ama ken ti putotna a lalaki ti maymaysa a babai ket rugrugitanda ti nasantoan a naganko.
8 And on garments taken in pledge they stretch out beside every altar and [the] wine of fines they drink [the] house of god their.
Iti abay ti tunggal altar, agid-idada iti rabaw dagiti kawes nga inalada a kas salda, ken iti balay ti Diosda, in-inumenda ti arak dagiti nagmulta.
9 And I I destroyed the Amorite[s] from before them who [was] like [the] height of cedars height his and [is] strong he like oaks and I destroyed fruit his above and roots his beneath.
Nupay kasta, dinadaelko ti Amoreo iti sangoananda, a ti tayagna ket kas iti tayag dagiti sedro; napigsa a kas kadagiti lugo. Nupay kasta, dinadaelko ti bungana iti ngato ken dagiti ramutna iti baba.
10 And I I brought up you from [the] land of Egypt and I led you in the wilderness forty year[s] to take possession of [the] land of the Amorite[s].
Inruarkayo pay idiay daga ti Egipto ken indaldalankayo idiay let-ang iti uppat a pulo a tawen tapno tagikuaenyo ti daga dagiti Amorreo.
11 And I raised up some of sons your to prophets and some of young men your to Nazirites ¿ also not [is] this O people of Israel [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Nangpataudak kadagiti profeta manipud kadagiti annakyo a lallaki ken kadagiti Nazireo manipud kadagiti agtutuboyo a lallaki. Saan kadi, tattao ti Israel? —daytoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh.”
12 And you made drink the Nazirites wine and to the prophets you commanded saying not you must prophesy.
“Ngem inallukoyyo dagiti Nazireo nga uminum iti arak ken binilinyo dagiti profeta a saanda nga agipadto.
13 Here! I [am] about to make totter under you just as it totters the cart full itself cut grain.
Kitaenyo, rumekenkayonto a kas iti panangrumek ti maysa a kariton a napno iti bukbukel iti maysa a tao.
14 And it will be lost a place of escape from a swift [person] and a strong [person] not he will make firm power his and a mighty [person] not he will save life his.
Saanto a makalibas ti tao a napardas; ti tao a nabileg, saannanto a manayonan ti kinapigsana; ti tao a nasiglat, saananto a maisalakan ti bagina.
15 And [the] handler of the bow not he will stand and a [person] swift on feet his not he will save and [the] rider of the horse not he will save life his.
Saanto a makatakder ti pumapana; saanto a makalibas ti tao a napardas nga agtaray; ti tao a nakakabalio ket saananto a maisalakan ti bagina.
16 And [the] [person] strong of heart his among the warriors naked he will flee on the day that [the] utterance of Yahweh.
Uray dagiti katuredan a mannakigubat ket agtarayto a lamolamo iti dayta nga aldaw—daytoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh.”
