Amos 1
1 [the] words of Amos who he was among the sheep-tenders from Tekoa which he saw on Israel in [the] days of - (Uzziah *L(abh)*) [the] king of Judah and in [the] days of Jeroboam [the] son of Joash [the] king of Israel two years before the earthquake.
१तकोवाच्या मेंढपाळांमधला, आमोस याची ही वचने, यहूद्यांचा राजा उज्जीया आणि योवाशाचा मुलगा, इस्राएलाचा राजा यराबाम यांच्या दिवसात, भूकंपाच्या दोन वर्षे आधी इस्राएलाविषयी जी वचने दृष्टांताच्या द्वारे त्यास मिळाली ती ही आहेत.
2 And he said - Yahweh (from Zion *L(abh)*) he will roar and from Jerusalem he will give forth voice his and they will dry up [the] pastures of the shepherds and it will wither [the] top of Carmel.
२तो म्हणाला: सीयोनांतून परमेश्वर गर्जना करेल, तो यरूशलेमेतून आपला शब्द उच्चारील. मेंढपाळांची कुरणे शोक करतील, आणि कर्मेलाचा माथा वाळून जाईल.
3 Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Damascus and on four not I will revoke it because threshed they with [the] threshing sledges of iron Gilead.
३परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “कारण दिमिष्काच्या तिन्ही पापांबद्दल, अगदी चारहींमुळे, मी त्यांना शासन करण्यापासून माघारी फिरणार नाही. कारण त्यांनी गिलादला मळण्याच्या लोखंडी अवजाराने मळले आहे.
4 And I will send forth a fire on [the] house of Hazael and it will consume [the] fortresses of Ben Hadad.
४मी हजाएलच्या घरात अग्नी पाठवीन; आणि तो अग्नी बेन-हदादच्या राजवाड्यांना गिळून टाकीन.
5 And I will break [the] bar of Damascus and I will cut off inhabitant[s] from [the] Valley of Aven and a holder of a scepter from Beth Eden and they will go into exile [the] people of Aram Kir towards he says Yahweh.
५मी दिमिष्काच्या प्रवेशद्वाराचे गज मोडून टाकीन, आणि बेथ-एदेनाच्या घरातून राजदंड धरणारा व आवेनाच्या खोऱ्यात राहणारा राजा यांचा पराभव करीन. आणि अरामी लोक कीर येथे पाडवपणांत जातील.” असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
6 Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Gaza and on four not I will revoke it because carried away into exile they exile complete to deliver up [them] to Edom.
६आणि परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “गज्जाच्या तिन्ही पापांबद्दल, अगदी चारहींमुळे, त्यांना शिक्षा करण्यापासून मी माघारी फिरणार नाही. कारण त्यांनी संपूर्ण लोकांस गुलाम म्हणून नेले, ह्यासाठी की त्यांना अदोम्यांच्या हाती द्यावे.
7 And I will send forth a fire on [the] wall of Gaza and it will consume fortresses its.

8 And I will cut off inhabitant[s] from Ashdod and a holder of a scepter from Ashkelon and I will turn hand my on Ekron and they will perish [the] remnant of [the] Philistines he says [the] Lord Yahweh.
८मी अश्दोदमध्ये राहणाऱ्या मनुष्यास आणि अष्कलोनात राजदंड धरणाऱ्या मनुष्यास नष्ट करीन. एक्रोनाच्या विरुद्ध मी माझा हात चालवीन. आणि पलिष्ट्यांचे उरलेले लोक मरतील.” असे परमेश्वर देव म्हणतो.
9 Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Tyre and on four not I will revoke it because delivered up they exile complete to Edom and not they remembered [the] covenant of brothers.
९परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “सोराच्या तिन्ही पापांबद्दल, अगदी चारहींमुळे, मी त्यांना शिक्षा करण्यापासून माघारी फिरणार नाही. कारण त्यांनी संपूर्ण लोकांस अदोम्यांच्या हाती दिले आणि त्यांच्या भावांबरोबर केलेल्या कराराचे स्मरण त्यांना राहिले नाही.
10 And I will send forth a fire on [the] wall of Tyre and it will consume fortresses its.
१०म्हणून सोराच्या तटबंदीवर मी अग्नी पाठवीन आणि तो त्यांचे किल्ले नष्ट करील.”
11 Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of Edom and on four not I will revoke it because pursued he with the sword brother his and he spoiled compassion his and it tore for ever anger his and fury his he kept it perpetuity.
११परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “अदोमाच्या तिन्ही पापांबद्दल, अगदी चारहींमुळे, मी त्यांना शिक्षा करण्यापासून फिरणार नाही. कारण अदोमाने तलवार घेऊन त्याच्या भावाचा पाठलाग केला. आणि त्याने सर्व दयाशीलपणा काढून टाकला. त्याचा क्रोध कायम राहिला, आणि त्याने आपला राग सतत बाळगला.
12 And I will send forth a fire on Teman and it will consume [the] fortresses of Bozrah.
१२म्हणून मी तेमानावर अग्नी पाठवीन, ती बस्राचे राजवाडे खाऊन टाकील.”
13 Thus he says Yahweh on three transgressions of [the] people of Ammon and on four not I will revoke it because ripped open they [the] pregnant [women] of Gilead so as to enlarge territory their.
१३परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “अम्मोनांच्या संतानाच्या तिन्ही पापांबद्दल, अगदी चारहींमुळे, मी शिक्षा करण्यापासून फिरणार नाही. कारण त्यांनी गिलादामध्ये गर्भवतींना फाडून टाकले, ह्यासाठी की आपल्या देशाचा सीमांचा विस्तार करावा.
14 And I will kindle a fire on [the] wall of Rabbah and it will consume fortresses its with a shout of alarm on [the] day of battle with a storm on [the] day of (a storm-wind *L(abh)*)
१४म्हणून मी राब्बाच्या तटबंदीला आग लावीन, त्यांच्यावर युध्दाच्या दिवशी आरडाओरड होत असतांना, आणि वावटळीच्या दिवशी वादळाने, ती त्याचे महाल खाऊन टाकील.
15 and he will go king their in exile he and officials his together he says Yahweh.
१५आणि त्यांचा राजा व त्याच्याबरोबर त्याचे सरदार एकत्र बंदीवान होतील.” असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
