< Acts 5 >

1 A man now certain Ananias named with Sapphira the wife of him sold a property
ⲁ̅ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲇⲉ ϩⲱϥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲛⲁⲛⲓⲁⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲥⲁⲡⲫⲓⲣⲁ ⲧⲉϥ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲁϥϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲓⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲁ ⲧⲉϥⲧⲓⲙⲏ.
2 and he kept back from the proceeds, already being aware also the wife (of him, *k*) and having brought a portion certain at the feet of the apostles he laid [it].
ⲃ̅ⲉⲥⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲧⲉϥ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲁϥ⳿ⲱⲗⲓ ⳿ⲛϭⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ϯⲧⲓⲙⲏ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲓⲟϩⲓ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓⲛⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲙ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲁϥⲭⲁⲩ ϧⲁⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ.
3 Said however (*no*) Peter; Ananias, because of why has filled Satan the heart of you to lie to [for] you the Spirit Holy and to keep back (yourself *o*) from the proceeds of the land?
ⲅ̅Ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲁⲛⲓⲁⲥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲟⲩ ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ⲙⲁϩ ⲡⲉⲕϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲕϫⲉⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ ⳿ⲉⲡⲠⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲕ⳿ⲱⲗⲓ ⳿ⲛϭⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ϯⲧⲓⲙⲏ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲓⲟϩⲓ.
4 Surely remaining to you it was remaining And having been sold in the own authority it was? Why for did you purpose in the heart of you deed this? Not you have lied to men but to God!
ⲇ̅ⲙⲏⲉϥϣⲟⲡ ⲛⲁϥϣⲟⲡ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲕⲧⲏⲓϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲁϥⲭⲏ ⲁⲛ ϧⲁ ⲧⲉⲕⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲕⲭⲁ ⲡⲁⲓϩⲱⲃ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉⲕϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲕϫⲉⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⳿ⲉⲫϯ.
5 Hearing now Ananias words these having fallen down he breathed his last. And came fear great upon all those hearing (these things; *k*)
ⲉ̅ⲉϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲁⲛⲓⲁⲥ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲁϥϩⲓ ⲁϥϩⲓ ⲡⲉϥⲑⲏⲟⲩ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛϩⲟϯ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲓ.
6 Having arisen then the younger [men] covered him and having carried [him] out they buried [him].
ⲋ̅ⲁⲩⲧⲱⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲁⲗⲱⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲁⲩϫⲟⲗϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲉⲛϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲩⲑⲟⲙⲥϥ.
7 It came to pass now about hours three afterward also the wife of him not knowing that having come to pass came in.
ⲍ̅ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁ ⲅ̅ϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲥⲕⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲁⲥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲧⲉϥ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲥⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ.
8 Replied then (to *no*) (her *N(k)O*) (*k*) Peter; do tell me if for so much the land you sold? And she said; Yes for so much.
ⲏ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲓ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧ⳿ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲓⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲁ ⲛⲁⲓϩⲁⲧ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁϩⲁ ϧⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ.
9 But Peter (said *k*) to her; Why [is it] for it was agreed together by you to test the Spirit of [the] Lord? Behold the feet of those having buried the husband of you [are] at the door and they will carry out you.
ⲑ̅Ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲟⲩ ⳿ⲁ ⲡⲁⲓϩⲱⲃ ϯⲙⲁϯ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲉⲣⲡⲓⲣⲁⲍⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲛⲓϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲏ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲑⲱⲙⲥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϩⲁⲓ ⲥⲉⲭⲏ ϩⲓⲣⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϥⲓϯ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲱⲓ.
10 She fell down then immediately (at *N(k)O*) the feet of him and breathed her last; Having come in then the young [men] found her dead, and having carried out they buried [her] by the husband of her;
ⲓ̅ⲁⲥϩⲉⲓ ⲇⲉ ϧⲁⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉϥϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ ⲁⲥϩⲓ ⲡⲉⲥⲑⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓϧⲉⲗϣ⳿⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⲁⲩϫⲉⲙⲥ ⲉⲥⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲟⲗⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲩⲭⲁⲥ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉⲥϩⲁⲓ.
11 And came fear great upon all the church and upon all those hearing these things.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛϩⲟϯ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ϯⲉⲕ⳿ⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲓ.
12 By now the hands of the apostles (were happening *N(k)O*) signs and wonders many among the people; And they were with one accord (all *NK(o)*) in the Colonnade of Solomon;
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲇⲉ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲛϫⲓϫ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲩϣⲟⲡ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲏϣ ⳿ⲙⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲑⲟⲩⲏⲧ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲥⲟⲡ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ ϯ⳿ⲥⲧⲟⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲥⲟⲗⲟⲙⲱⲛ.
13 of the now rest no [one] was daring to join with them, but were magnifying them the people.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲇⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲥⲱϫⲡ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⲉⲣⲧⲟⲗⲙⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉⲧⲟⲙϥ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ϭⲓⲥⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ.
14 more now were added believing in the Lord, multitudes of men both and women,
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲙⲁⲗⲗⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲩⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲠ⳪ ⲉⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲏϣ ⳿ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛϩⲓ⳿ⲟⲙⲓ.
15 so as (even *no*) (into *N(k)O*) the streets to bring out the sick and to put [them] on (cots *N(k)O*) and mats, that when is coming Peter at least at least the shadow (shall envelop *NK(o)*) some of them.
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉ⳿ⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲧϣⲱⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϩⲓ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲡⲗⲁⲧⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉⲭⲁⲩ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛ ϭⲗⲟϫ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛⲉⲛⲕⲟⲧ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲉϥⲛⲁⲥⲓⲛⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲕⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲧⲉϥϧⲏⲓⲃⲓ ⳿Ⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ.
16 Were coming together now also the multitude from the surrounding cities (into *k*) Jerusalem bringing [the] sick and [those] being tormented by spirits unclean, who were healed all.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲛⲁⲩⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲏϣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲉⲧⲕⲱϯ ⳿ⲉⲒⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲙ̅ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲧϣⲱⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏⲉⲧϩⲏ ϣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲁⲕⲁⲑⲁⲣⲧⲟⲛ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϣⲁⲩⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϩⲓⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ.
17 Having risen up however the high priest and all those with him, which is being [the] sect of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲁϥⲧⲱⲛϥ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲁⲣⲭⲏ⳿ⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲧϩⲉⲣⲉⲥⲓⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲤⲁⲇⲇⲟⲩⲕⲉⲟⲥ ⲁⲩⲙⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲭⲟϩ.
18 and they laid the hands (of them *k*) on the apostles and put them in [the] jail public.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲁⲩ⳿ⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩϫⲓϫ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲭⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡ⳿ⲁⲣⲉϩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲇⲏⲙⲟⲥⲓ⳿ⲁ.
19 An angel however of [the] Lord during (the *k*) night (having opened *N(k)O*) the doors of the prison, having brought out then them said;
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲟⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲕⲟ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲣϩ ⲁϥ⳿ⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ.
20 do go and having stood do speak in the temple to the people all the declarations of the life this.
ⲕ̅ϫⲉ ⲙⲁϣⲉⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲥⲁϫⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲛϧ.
21 Having heard now they entered at the dawn into the temple and were teaching. Having come now the high priest and those with him they called together the Council even all the Senate of the sons of Israel and sent to the prison house to bring them.
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩϣⲟⲣⲡⲟⲩ ⲁⲩϣⲉⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⲛⲁⲩϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥⲧⲱⲛϥ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲁⲣⲭⲏ⳿ⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⲁⲩⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛϯϩⲁⲡ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓϧⲉⲗⲗⲟⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲠⲓ̅ⲥ̅ⲗ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩ⳿ⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ.
22 And having come [the] officers not did find them in the prison. having returned then they reported back
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓϩⲩⲡⲉⲣⲉⲧⲏⲥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩϫⲉⲙⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲕⲟ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲕⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲙⲱⲟⲩ.
23 saying that The (indeed *k*) prison house we found shut with all security and the guards (outside *K*) already standing (before *N(k)O*) the doors, having opened [them] however inside no [one] we found.
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛϫⲓⲙⲓ ⲙⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱⲛϩ ⲉϥϣⲟⲧⲉⲙ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓⲣⲉϥ⳿ⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲛϫⲉⲙ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲟⲩⲛ.
24 When now they heard words these both (the priest and the *K*) captain of the temple and the chief priests were perplexed concerning them, what maybe would be this.
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲥⲁⲧⲏⲅⲟⲩⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲏ⳿ⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲛⲁⲩⲧⲱⲙⲧ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ.
25 Having come then a certain one he reported to them (saying *k*) that Behold the men whom you put in the prison are in the temple already standing and teaching the people!
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉⲧ⳿ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲭⲁⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲕⲟ ⲥⲉ⳿ⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⲉⲩ ϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ.
26 Then having gone the captain with the officers (was bringing *N(k)O*) them not with force, they were afraid of for the people (so that *k*) lest they may be stoned.
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲁϥϣⲉⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲁⲧⲏⲅⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓϩⲩⲡⲉⲣⲉⲧⲏⲥ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲁⲩⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ϧⲁ⳿ⲧϩⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲙⲏ ⲡⲱⲥ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉϩⲓ⳿ⲱⲛⲓ ⳿ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ.
27 Having brought then them they set [them] in the Council. And asked them the high priest
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩⲧⲁϩⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛϯϩⲁⲡ ⲁϥϣⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲁⲣⲭⲏ⳿ⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ.
28 saying; (Surely *NK*) by a charge we commanded you not to teach in name this. And behold you have filled Jerusalem with the teaching of you and you intend to bring upon us the blood of the man this.
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⲁⲛϩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲁⲛ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲒⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲙ̅ ⲧⲏⲣⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡ⳿ⲥⲛⲟϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲛ.
29 Answering however (*k*) Peter and the apostles said; To obey it is necessary to God rather than to men.
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ⲁϥ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲩ⳿ⲱ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲥⲉⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲁ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ Ⲫϯ ⳿⳿ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ.
30 The God of the fathers of us raised up Jesus whom you yourselves killed having hanged [Him] on a tree;
ⲗ̅ⲫϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲉⲛⲓⲟϯ ⲁϥⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲥ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲧ⳿ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϫⲓϫ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁϣϥ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϣⲉ.
31 Him God [as] Prince and Savior exalted by the right hand of Him (*no*) to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ⲫⲁⲓ ⲁϥϭⲁⲥϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲫϯ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩⲓⲧ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲟⲩ⳿ⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲉⲑⲣⲉϥϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲛⲟⲓ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲙⲠⲓ̅ⲥ̅ⲗ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲡⲭⲱ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲛⲟⲃⲓ.
32 And we ourselves are (of him *k*) witnesses of the declarations these and also the Spirit (now *k*) Holy whom has given God to those obeying Him.
ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲁⲓ Ⲫϯ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲠⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱϥ.
33 And (having heard *NK(o)*) they felt cut up and (they were desiring *N(k)O*) to execute them.
ⲗ̅ⲅ̅⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲓ ⲁⲩ⳿ϧⲣⲁϫⲣⲉϫ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲛⲁϫϩⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱϣ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲑⲃⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ.
34 Having risen up however a certain [man] in the Council a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law honored by all the people, he commanded [them] outside for a short (while *k*) the (men *N(K)O*) to put,
ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ⲁϥⲧⲱⲛϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛϯϩⲁⲡ ⲟⲩⲪⲁⲣⲓⲥⲉⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲅⲁⲙⲁⲗⲓⲏⲗ ⲟⲩⲣⲉϥϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲧⲁⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲁϩⲥⲁϩⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉϩⲓ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ.
35 He said then to them; Men Israelites, do take heed to yourselves with men these what you are about to do.
ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛⲓⲥⲣⲁⲏⲗⲓⲧⲏⲥ ⲙⲁϩⲑⲏⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲛⲁⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲁⲓϥ.
36 Before for these days rose up Theudas affirming to be somebody himself, to whom (were joined *N(k)(o)*) of men number (about *N(k)O*) four hundred; who was executed, and all as many as were persuaded by him they were dispersed and they it came to no [thing].
ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ϧⲁϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛⲛⲁⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲛϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ⲑⲉⲩⲧⲏⲥ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲩⲟⲩ⳿ⲁϩⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲩ̅ ⳿ⲛⲏⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩϧⲟⲑⲃⲉϥ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⲑⲏⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⲁⲩⲃⲱⲗ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲉⲁⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲉϩⲁⲛ⳿ϩⲗⲓ.
37 After this man rose up Judas the Galilean in the days of the registration and drew away people (significant number of *K*) after him; And he And he perished, and all as many as were persuaded by him were scattered.
