Acts 26

1 Agrippa then to Paul was saying; It is permitted you (for *N(k)O*) yourself to speak. Then Paul having stretched out the hand was presenting a defense:

Entonces Agripa dijo a Pablo: Se te permite hablar por ti. Pablo entonces extendiendo la mano, comenzó a dar razón de sí, diciendo:

2 Concerning all of which I am accused by [the] Jews, King Agrippa, I have esteemed myself fortunate before you being about today to present a defense;

Acerca de todas las cosas de que soy acusado por los Judíos, oh rey Agripa, téngome por dichoso, de que delante de ti me haya hoy de defender.

3 Especially acquainted being you with all the of [the] Jews (customs *NK(o)*) and also controversies. therefore I implore (you *k*) patiently to hear me.

Mayormente porque yo sé que tú entiendes de todas las costumbres y cuestiones que hay entre los Judíos; por lo cual te ruego que me oigas con paciencia.

4 The indeed then manner of life of mine which [is] from youth from [its] beginning having been among the nation of mine in (also *no*) Jerusalem know all the Jews

Mi manera de vivir desde mi mocedad, la cual desde el principio fue entre los de mi nación en Jerusalem, todos los Judíos la saben:

5 knowing me from the first, if they may be willing to testify that according to the strictest sect of our own religion I lived [as] a Pharisee;

Los cuales tienen ya conocido, si quieren testificar lo, que yo desde el principio, conforme a la secta más estricta de nuestra religión he vivido Fariseo.

6 And now for [the] hope of the (to *N(k)O*) the fathers of us promise having been made by God I have stood being judged,

Y ahora por la esperanza de la promesa que hizo Dios a nuestros padres estoy llamado a juicio.

7 to which the twelve tribes of us in earnestness night and day serving they hope to attain, concerning which hope I am accused (Agrippa *K*) by (the *k*) Jews, O king,

A la cual promesa nuestras doce tribus, sirviendo a Dios perennemente de día y de noche, esperan que han de venir; por la cual esperanza, oh rey Agripa, soy acusado de los Judíos.

8 Why incredible is it judged by you if God [the] dead raises?

¿Cómo se juzga cosa increible entre vosotros que Dios resucite los muertos?

9 I myself indeed therefore thought in myself to the name of Jesus of Nazareth needing many things contrary to do,

Yo ciertamente había pensado conmigo que debía de hacer muchas cosas contra el nombre de Jesús el Nazareno.

10 which also I did in Jerusalem and many (also *no*) of the saints I myself (in *no*) prisons locked up the from the chief priests authority having received, when were being executed then they I cast against [them] a vote;

Lo cual también hice en Jerusalem, y yo encerré en cárceles a muchos de los santos, habiendo recibido poderes de los príncipes de los sacerdotes; y cuando les hacían morir, yo di mi voto contra ellos.

11 And in all the synagogues often punishing them I was compelling [them] to blaspheme, Excessively then being furious against them I was persecuting [them] as far as even to foreign cities.

Y muchas veces castigándolos por las sinagogas, los forcé a blasfemar; y enfurecido sobre manera contra ellos, les perseguí hasta en las ciudades extrañas.

12 during which (and *k*) journeying to Damascus with [the] authority and commission which [is] (from *k*) the chief priests

En cuyo tiempo yendo yo a Damasco con poderes y comisión de los príncipes de los sacerdotes,

13 At day mid on the road I saw, O king, from heaven above the brightness of the sun having shone around me a light and those with me myself journeying.

En mitad del día, oh rey, ví en el camino una luz que sobrepujaba el resplandor del sol, la cual me rodeó, y a los que iban conmigo.

14 All (and *N(k)O*) when were falling down we to the ground I heard a voice (saying *N(k)O*) to me (and saying *k*) in the Hebrew language; Saul Saul, why Me persecute you? [It is] hard for you against [the] goads to kick.

Y habiendo caído todos nosotros en tierra, oí una voz que me hablaba, y decía en lengua Hebraica: Saulo, Saulo, ¿por qué me persigues? Dura cosa te es dar coces contra los aguijones.

15 I myself then said; Who are You Lord? And (the Lord *no*) said; I myself am Jesus whom you yourself are persecuting.

Yo entonces dije: ¿Quién eres, Señor? Y él dijo: Yo soy Jesús, a quién tú persigues.

16 But do rise up and do stand on the feet of you; to this [purpose] for I have appeared to you to appoint you a servant and a witness of that which both you have seen (of Me *NO*) of the things in which then I will appear to you,

Mas levántate, y pónte sobre tus pies; porque por esto te he aparecido, para ponerte por ministro y testigo de las cosas que has visto, y de las en que te apareceré;

17 delivering you out from the people and (from *no*) the Gentiles, to whom (I myself *N(K)O*) am sending you

Librándote de este pueblo, y de los Gentiles, a los cuales ahora te envío,

18 to open eyes of them, that (to turn *NK(o)*) from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, [that] to receive they forgiveness of sins and [an] inheritance among those sanctified by faith which [is] in Me myself.

Para abrir sus ojos, para que se conviertan de las tinieblas a la luz, y de la potestad de Satanás a Dios, para que reciban por la fe que es en mí, remisión de pecados, y suerte entre los que son santificados.

19 So then, O king Agrippa, not I was disobedient to the heavenly vision,

Por lo cual, oh rey Agripa, no fui rebelde a la visión celestial:

20 but to those in Damascus first (both *no*) also in Jerusalem (into *k*) all both the region of Judea, and to the Gentiles (I was declaring *N(k)O*) to repent and to turn to God worthy of repentance works doing.

Antes, primeramente a los de Damasco, y en Jerusalem, y por toda la tierra de Judea, y a los Gentiles, anunciaba que se arrepintiesen y se convirtiesen a Dios, haciendo obras dignas de arrepentimiento.

21 On account of these things me (the *k*) Jews having seized (being *n*) in the temple they were attempting to kill.

Por causa de esto los Judíos tomándome en el templo, tentaron de matar me.

22 Help therefore having obtained (from *N(k)O*) God unto day this I have stood (bearing witness *N(k)O*) to small both and to great, no [thing] other saying than what both the prophets said was about to happen and Moses,

Mas ayudado de la ayuda de Dios persevero hasta el día de hoy, dando testimonio a chicos y a grandes, no diciendo nada fuera de las cosas que los profetas y Moisés dijeron que habían de venir, a saber:

23 that would suffer the Christ, as first through resurrection from [the] dead light He is about to preach (to both *no*) our people and to the Gentiles.

Que el Cristo había de padecer, que había de ser el primero de la resurrección de los muertos, y que había de anunciar luz a este pueblo, y a los Gentiles.

24 These things now when he is presenting a defense Festus in a loud voice (said; *N(k)O*) You are insane Paul! The great of you learning to insanity turns [you]!

Y diciendo él estas cosas en su defensa, Festo a gran voz dijo: Estás loco, Pablo: las muchas letras te vuelven loco.

25 But (Paul; *no*) Not I am insane says most excellent Festus, but of truth and sobriety declarations I utter.

Mas él dijo: No estoy loco, excelente Festo, sino que hablo palabra de verdad, y de templanza.

26 Understands for concerning these things the king to whom also using boldness I speak; Hiding for him any of these things not I am persuaded no [thing]; not for is in a corner done of these things.

Porque el rey sabe estas cosas, delante del cual también hablo con libertad, porque estoy seguro que él no ignora nada de estas cosas, que esto no ha sido hecho en algún rincón.

27 Believe you, King Agrippa, in the prophets? I know that you believe.

¿Crees, rey Agripa, a los profetas? Yo sé que crees.

28 Then Agrippa to Paul (was saying: *k*) Within so little [time] me you [seek to] persuade a Christian (to become! *N(k)O*)

Entonces Agripa dijo a Pablo: Por poco me persuades que me haga Cristiano.

29 And Paul (said; *k*) I would wish may God both in a little and in (much *N(k)O*) not only you but also all those hearing me this day to become such as also I myself am except chains these.

Y Pablo dijo: Pluguiese a Dios, que por poco y por mucho, no solamente tú, mas también todos los que hoy me oyen, fueseis hechos tales cual yo soy, salvo estas prisiones.

30 (and these things when was speaking he *K*) rose up (then *no*) the king and the governor and Bernice and those sitting with them;

Y como hubo dicho esto, se levantó el rey, y el gobernador, y Berenice, y los que estaban asentados con ellos.

31 and having withdrawn they were speaking to one another saying that No [thing] of death or of chains worthy (any *NO*) is doing man this.

Y como se retiraron aparte, hablaban los unos a los otros, diciendo: Ninguna cosa digna ni de muerte, ni de prisión, hace este hombre.

32 Agrippa then to Festus was saying; to have been released was able man this, only unless he had appealed to Caesar.

Y Agripa dijo a Festo: Podía este hombre ser suelto, si no hubiera apelado al César.
